Gave this Fierce45 location a second try this past Friday and had a *much* better experience! Veronica (or "V" for short) taught an awesome evening class that gave me all the good shakes. She checked in with the group to see if there were any injuries/aches/pains and then made proper modifications for the couple of ladies needing them. The workout was a great balance between all of the muscle groups--we worked our legs, butts, arms, and core and I left super exhausted. The whole session's vibe was super focused on being strong and powerful, which is the Fierce45 I remember. So glad I gave this location another try! Other Fierce perks: + Parking has always been super easy, even for 5-6 pm classes (which seem to always be full!) + Classes are small (limited to 13 because of the reformers), so the instructors are good about taking the time make sure newer folks (like me!) are doing the moves correctly and avoiding injury. + The workout is only 45 minutes! Sure, it's a super tough 45 minutes, but such a great strength workout and such a small time commitment. read more

Fiece45 has become my absolute favorite workout. I love that it is low impact and challenging every time. The coaches are great (special shout out to Veronica, Rheagan, Charlene and Alison who are a few of my faves!) and keep me motivated throughout class with awesome playlists and words of encouragement. The coaches are also very knowledgeable about anatomy + physiology and provide great cues and modifications for injuries if needed. There are only 9 machines at Hilltop, so you'll get hands-on support from the coach to make sure form is correct to maximize the burn and eliminate the chance of getting hurt. I've seen great results and can't get enough of this workout! The studio itself is gorgeous. It has lots of windows and natural light. There is a cute retail shop stocked with all of your apparel and gear needs. Also, there are plenty of parking spots in the lot so you don't have to spend time looking for a spot.  Definitely check it out! read more

Brand new Fierce45 location with shiny, new machines? I had to try it! This location is smaller than the other two, with only 9 machines (the others have 11 and 12 I think). It didn't feel small to me though. There is a separate entrance area with all the super cute/fierce apparel and lockers for your stuff. Gwendolyn immediately became one of my favorite instructors. She was so welcoming, her music was awesome (mostly 90's hip hop), and she was constantly walking around the room correcting people's posture and positioning. If you don't know Fierce45, they use the Lagree method, which has been called Pilates on steroids. I'm not as much a fan of Pilates because I never seem to break a sweat. This workout has me sweating all over the place! If you could image yourself on a moving platform taking the slowest possible lunge, slow that down. Then slow it down again. Then don't come back up all the way, only come up 80%. Yeah. Constant muscle activation. It's insane. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun but challenging workout. The first class is free so there's no excuse to not try it and get hooked. read more

Lagree Pilates is my favorite workout now, super hard but very effective. There are a couple of other lagree studios in town, but Fierce45 is prob my favorite! All the instructors are friendly and very encouraging, and I always sweat a ton in their classes (not as much in other studios not sure why), and I definitely feel like the instructors here push me over my limits, in a good way! Reformer machines here are pretty new, studio space is small but sleek. Towel, water station are all available, and there's a parking lot outside so you don't need to arrive 10 minutes early just to find parking! read more

From the very first class this workout was tough as $handhdnjj but incredibly fun and satisfying. There's something so powerful about knowing YeS I can do the hard thing. Studio is super clean, instructors friendly and knowledgeable (get Alison W for your first try) and remember to take it slooooow. Turtle slow. That's the magic. read more

This class was great. I've taken years of barre and some mat Pilates here and there, so I was excited to try out a reformer. This reformer was huge. We started out with lower resistance and worked our way up. I'm feeling sore in my abdominal area today, which is what I was aiming for. I'm 6 months postpartum and running/barre isn't cutting it these days so I will add this some to see what it can do for my abs longterm. Excited for more classes read more

I have never, in my entire life had good core strength. Planks? Oh noooo, no thank you. After taking advantage of their 3-free-class pack (which I would highly recommend giving it 3 tries before giving up) I was hooked. I was engaging muscles I had never realized I had before. I soon bought a 10 pack, then another, and now I am the plank master! I, at this point, have only used 14 classes and see changes in my body that I have never seen before. I am so strong, and am leaning out in a way that I could only hope. You will need sticky socks (no shoes allowed) and flexible attire. Make sure you come in with an open mind and open heart. I have two favorite instructors, Sarah Jo and JoJo, they are high energy and explain things beautifully so you don't get lost (they would be great starter coaches to learn from). They are encouraging and uplifting during what seems to be the worst 45 minutes of your life but I PROMISE you, it is worth every drop of sweat. Allow yourself a lot of grace, no one comes into this setting being a pro, it takes a lot of time and effort. I am down 50 lbs with diet and exercise, but my biggest achievement has been more core strength, and I have Fierce to thank for that! read more

After tearing my MCL, LCL, and ACL in a volleyball game, Fierec45 helped me lose the weight from being injured, and strengthen the supporting muscles without straining my healing ligaments. They actually helped me save money because I didn't have to go to physical therapy as often. Fierec45 did a better job at strengthening my supporting muscles than even my physical therapy. I love crossfit, but due to physical circumstances I needed a zero impact workout. This is it. I dabbled in yoga, traditional pilates, aerial yoga, and they didnt give me the satisfaction crossfit would. Fierce workout are focused, intense, and gratifying that you did it afterward. Talk about FIERCE! I have a friend who works at the Fierce45 Lohi location, and I wanted to see what all the hype was about this place. I started following Fierce45 on instagram, loved the vibe I was feeling, and continued to seek classes through class pass. It's challenging to snag a spot through class pass, but I was able to get into the newer location in Hilltop last Friday & this Monday morning. Now I'm hooked, actually more like obsessed! The Hilltop studio is on the smaller side, 9 reformers, but still plenty of space. The instructors I had were attentive, correcting form when needed, & encouraging. Lagree tests you mentally & physically, tiny but mighty movements that make you break a sweat! Cute little retail shop when you walk in, just in case you forgot your sticky socks or need some new swag. Bonus- there's a parking lot with plenty of spots. Did I mention I was obsessed?! I'm itching to get into the other locations! Please release more spots on classpass :) read more

I've been going to Fierce45 for over a year and a half and I can't say enough good things about it! Every time I walk into the studio someone is welcoming me with a smiling face whether it's someone at the front desk or my instructor. I am addicted to these workouts. I have seen and felt changes that I didn't see with traditional workouts. The 45 mins is the perfect time frame for me, and I leave feeling like I got my butt kicked, but in the best way. Low impact, great music and it's a mind/body workout. If you haven't tried Fierce45 yet, I highly recommend you do! read more
