I liked the intro pack of classes, it's great to be able to get a feel for the studio. Everyone was friendly, the studio is nice but not brand new, easy parking. I've done Lagree for a few years so not new to this. The machines were a bit odd, I know everyone likes to modify these for their special brand of Lagree but I didn't like the way these were modified. I took 3 classes, two were just bad, a random set of exercises that didn't seem to cohesively go together, and one was just OK. I didn't feel the instructors were that experienced or paid attention to the people, everyone was doing something slightly different. It feels like some movements were just there for the coolness factor but they didn't really create a workout or make sense. There is a right way to do a move and there are adjustments that can be made but I just didn't get a good workout here. read more

**Newcomers: know to expect a type of Reformer Pilates** As an out of towner looking to keep up my workout routine, I found Fierce45 on ClassPass (a whopping 13 credits, compared to my usual 5-credit classes). It looked light a great workout though, so I went ahead and signed up! Insider tip: I called the studio and they actually offer first class free, so, having zero idea of what to expect, I was totally on board. The description says 'low impact and high-intensity movements', so I assumed this was a normal weight lifting class with free-weights. Little did I realize that this was basically a reformer pilates class (see picture of, since it was new to me, the crazy-looking equipment). Admittedly, I was rather clumsy at navigating the equipment since it was my first time, but the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and I have zero doubt that you get the hang of it after a class or two. Much like barre classes I've tried, you will absolutely feel the burn in this class, however you won't get much cardio. From my experience doing a pure barre blitz (aka 22 classes in one month), this kind of workout is great for toning, but not as good for weight loss or building significant strength capacity. read more

I've been coming here since it opened. Warm and welcoming but will still kick your ass. Fierce 45 was my first foray into paying dearly for boutique fitness and liking it. The teachers are top notch and always ready to help you with your form. Who knew that moving a body part 2 inches that-away would change the whole trajectory of the workout and provide you with a newly discovered waistline? I am a middle aged woman that needs to build muscle and endurance and high impact workouts simply don't work for me anymore. TBH, I feel intimidated EVERY TIME I walk into the studio, but always leave sweaty, empowered and wondering why I'm not here every day. read more

Love this place! Clean, great workout clothing selection (I bought a full outfit during my last two visits), and they give great pregnancy modifications which is key for me right now. I like that you set your intention on the chalk board at the beginning of class. All the instructors are helpful (and inspiring - super fit!) This place is killer! I invested in a headband after my first class because I was dripping sweat all over the machine. They use a MegaFormer machine. It's similar to a Pilates machine but it is so much more than Pilates. My first class, the instructor (Melissa - loved her!) knew it was my first time so she gave me a run down of the machine and how to work it. She also purposefully placed me between two regulars so that I could watch them to make sure I was doing things right. The movements that you do are so....so....slow. The control it takes to go that slow is real work on your muscles. I was sore for 2 days after each class. It may be pricier than most places but the workout that you get here is the equivalent of 2-3 workouts at some other places. read more

Disclaimer: I am a lagree instructor, with a background in pilates, barre, cycling, and yoga. So I'm pretty picky about studios, and what they offer and how they offer it. While in Denver, I looked up reformer studios, and a friend of mine knew the owner who started this place and recommended it. My husband and I went, expecting a good workout and a friendly atmosphere. Our expectations were met and more. The instructor (Juliana) knew that we were very familiar with the methodology and proceeded to explain what they did that was different, what was different about it, and ensured that we were consistently challenged. There were hands on adjustments, made appropriately and well, explaining why they were recommended. I also appreciated seeing another instructor taking the class - it means that 1) the instructors support one another and 2) they are constantly learning. Afterwards, we chatted for a bit, talked about the workout, and I definitely appreciated the fact that other members of the studio were talking to one another and with us. I'm glad I came here and I'm glad I got to learn from a great group of people. It's a great workout, and I highly recommend it. Also, my glutes are still sore, and if you accomplish THAT (because I do a lot of lower body) then you definitely have something going here. read more

Sweaty :: 2/5 You may break a sweat, but nothing a little towelette can't fix Shower/Locker Room Sitch :: 1/5 I've only attended the Hilltop location, in which they had one bathroom with no shower. Kinda made getting ready for work after a workout a little difficult in am. Atmosphere :: 4.5/5 The ascetic at Fierce45 is on point! It's adorably and very gram worthy. Everything is new and clean and the trainers are so helpful! Fun :: 4/5 I love starting class by writing my intentions in front of me and each megaformer has an empowering phrase under them. I almost hate to review this place for fear of the classes filling up. I was a 4-6 day a weeker at another local spot after two babies. I was feeling burned out and went to another Lagree spot with a friend. Five days after my first class, I was still sore in muscles in my butt I barely knew existed. Fast forward three months and about 35 classes... the space in my tummy muscles from carrying two babies is gone and zipped up tighter than before I had kids. I'm down almost three sizes and I swear my butt is a good three inches higher and abs are just around the corner. Wanted to try out this place since I do solidcore back home. Very similar concept, just a slightly different machine. The coach, Monica I believe, was extremely thorough in explaining the machine and what we would be doing that day. During the class she was super animated and demonstrated exactly what we would be doing. It also helped that the people around me were regulars so I would just follow their lead. Class was great, definitely broke out a sweat and recommended it to my friend that actually lives in Denver! read more

I signed up for a 5 am class with this studio. Context - I have taken tons of reformer pilates classes but had never been to this particular studio before. When I arrived at 4:55 am, the person at the desk told me that I could not take the class because they did not have time to train me on the equipment since it was my first time at their studio and I should have arrived at 4:45 am (!!!). She told me that she was "not equipped" to train me herself and kept asserting that "safety is so important to them." I then watched her go in and begin taking the class herself. So, I'm basically left to conclude that this employee simply did not feel like taking a few minutes to show me the equipment and satisfy their "policy." To quote Office Space, "what is it that you say you do here?" I'm thoroughly irritated that I woke up so early to scrape snow off my car, drive across town, communicate with this nitwit and not get a workout in. Thank you very little, Fierce45. I had to re-think my workouts after some injuries a couple years ago. Low impact was what I needed but as a regular runner, equestrian and lover of high energy & high impact classes; it was not what I wanted. I reluctantly started searching online and after a lot of research, decided to try out Fierce 45. I absolutely LOVED it. I could barely walk for the next 3 days but as soon as I could, I booked my next class! It was exactly what I needed since it's low impact, but its hard as hell and challenges me every time I go, and thats what keeps me going back. I have become so much stronger than I was when I was doing tons of high impact workouts and weight lifting, and I feel better too since I'm not doing any more damage to my body. I just took my first class here last night and it was not anything like I expected. The studio has the whole trendy warehouse look, and great merchandise to buy in the front room when you check in. It is decorated trendy and cute and is very clean. The staff were all friendly in showing the new people around the studio and helping us get set up for class. Now the class... I have taken plenty of Pilates reformer classes in my day but this is a whole different level. You are constantly moving and sweating 5 minutes into the class. The instructor was very encouraging and offered great modification if needed. Overall it was a great class, I just didn't realize how intense of a workout I was walking into, which was a nice surprise! I will definitely be back here again! read more

What a sweat!!! This was my first mega former class and I may be hooked! Such a challenge class with movements my body was not used too ( and I am sure I looked a bit funny trying ) HOWEVER Jen and the other class members were so motivating I pushed through and loved it! Great environment for beginners to Pros with a bunch of ways to modify in-between. They have 2 locations so do not miss a chance to check them out! Tip- Invest in good grippy socks-- you will sweat and slide around the machine. I even saw a few gals with grippy gloves-- might be a game changer! I enjoyed the low impact workout! It was challenging i know i will get results fast. I felt the front desk girl who checked me in was very short and not helpful. She snapped at me about not having socks and that i had to buy them... but didn't offer to show me what ones to choose. I just moved to Denver, but started doing Lagree about a year ago in DC (where Michelle Obama apparently sculpts her arms at too). I have also dropped into numerous studios while traveling with mixed results. This workout is extremely efficient and challenging hard no matter where you take it. But the culture and presence does vary based on the studio. Being new to Denver, I was extremely pleased with the energy, coaching, and community at Fierce45. I love Fierce45! I started taking classes here about 6 months ago and have continually found them challenging and enjoyable. When they say "hard every time" they mean it! You'll work muscles you never knew you had and if you stick with it, you'll continue to see your body transform. The only downside is that the classes are so popular that you really have to plan ahead. Most of the time it seems like a few people cancel right before the 12 hour window though so you can usually (but definitely not always) get off of a waitlist. read more

Pretty much ADDICTED to Fierce. All of the instructors are great, the workout is SO effective, and the vibe of the studio is A+! I'm about a month into my membership and feel better than ever. Every class is different, so I never get bored. Instructors provide modifications to up level, so I'm always challenged. And, I always leave class satisfied with the workout. I highly recommend this studio to anyone who's looking to get their booty into shape quickly! Tip: Sign up a week before you want to take class, as they fill up! Fierce is wonderful!! The workout is so good, one of those where every time I go it's still hard. I have muscles now that I've never seen before. I had been dying to try what I heard was an awesome workout. I'm pretty fit and coordinated. I teach exercise classes and yoga for many years, but I knew this would challenge me in a different way. It did! I felt the burn and it was difficult to keep good form. It definately made my lumbar disc issue aggravated but I have recovered. That was the only after effects I really felt. It was hard to get out of my hip flexors for several of the exercises. The music was so loud I had to really work to hear the instructor. And the number one reason I can't give this any more stars-The instructor pinched my tummy more than once! ew. I don't even have much of a tummy and no one wants to be pinched in the flesh. You can use words to cue what you want me to do or show me on your own body. Please don't pinch me anywhere. Thank you. read more

Awesome class! I tried it out for the first time yesterday with ClassPass, and I was extremely impressed with the studio. Very nice looking space, with boxed water (genius) and a great collection of workout gear. The class itself was extremely challenging and I was sweating within the first 5 minutes, but the instructor (Heather) was extremely encouraging and helping us modify poses as necessary. The machines really do a great job of targeting specific muscle groups while working your entire body. My abs are fantastically sore today! Can't wait to go back. read more

Fierce 45 is not your typical workout...it's better. I have never been more challenged ever in a class. This is BY FAR a 5 star studio. I have never done any kind of workout like this before. I'm typically a Bootcamp, body pump, fast paced workout type of girl so I was nervous going into it. It was completely not what I expected. It was such an awesome workout and, seriously, my legs were shaking for hours after the class. I felt so amazing and refreshed afterwards! I'll qualify this review by saying my fitness preferences are the solo workouts in a gym. I am confident in my ability to push myself. This studio however has grabbed my attention. The energy is high, the exercises are a great supplement to what I already do and the facility has that industrial "let's get down to business" feel. Bettina is an awesome session leader, if the others are anywhere near as good, I am certain I will continue to keep this as part of my health and fitness regiment. This class is CRAZY! Not for the faint of heart, cross fitters, or really anyone who thinks they are fit. Reason I say that is because I thought I was in shape and this place kicked my butt. Literally! My butt is screaming still from this place! Make sure you get there 15 min before class and bring sticky socks. They use Pilates machines and do real hard workouts on them. The music is rocks and the Instructors make you work, to the point you might think they are rude. Then after class they commend your hard work and thank you for coming! First class is free, take a week for 29$, the. You'll be hooked and fork out a crap ton of money. One class made my butt look awesome. Now I'm motivated for more! read more

I went for my first class today and it was fantastic! Butt kicking workout! I look forward to going back. My only negatives would be that I wish it was one hour instead of 45 min for the price. I also had to ask to increase resistance for arms - apparently I am mismatched between upper body and lower body strength, but it may be hard to get the instructor's attention with music and being in a prostate position. I am psyched that they switch up the routine all the time and it is not a franchised, dictated set of exercises, but rather instructor's choice. read more

This place was amazing!! I am not kidding you so good. I was visiting from Cali for a wedding and have been taking a Lagree Fitness class in where I live. I love the class and thought I don't want to miss for 5 days so I looked online and found Fierce45. I arrived and it was super welcoming and I loved to the look feel of the place. Then, the studio was great. I LOVED the chalkboard where I put my name and intention for class...so freaking cool. My intention was to move and have fun!! And I did. Then class started. Torrey was great with positive motivation, easy clear cueing, and a fun class. I really appreciated her focus on staying present and in the moment. It was also super challenging. I wear a apple watch to track my fitnesss....my heart rate averaged 154 bpm for the 50 minute class and I burned over 400 calories!! My thighs were shaking in a really good way. Super great class, people, and studio. If i lived here I would be signing up for the unlimited monthly membership!! Thanks for a great class, and when I visit I will be back for sure. read more
