Being able to do things without pain has been so amazing. I went on a trip and knew that I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I did without Pilates. I have flat feet and an extra bone in one foot. My whole body is misaligned because of it and I have had several injuries that are exacerbated by the severe pronation. Working out has always been difficult, pulling muscles easily, spraining my ankles constantly, and knees slipping out of place with barely any force. Pilates has made it possible for me to strengthen, align, and improve every part of my body, allowing me to live a more functional life, all while in grippy ankle socks. My friend and I were visibly struggling throughout class, yet there was little guidance beyond being told we were on the wrong side and even having resistance increased when we were already struggling. There were no check-ins during or after class. What disappointed me most was the studio's response. When we shared our concerns, we were essentially told that "policy is policy" and that no refund, credit, or accommodation could be offered. To make matters worse, we were told upon arrival that we needed to sign a waiver, but the front desk assured us it was fine to do so after class. Had we known how important that waiver would later become, we would have signed it before participating. To be fair, I've had great experiences taking climbing classes at Transform. Unfortunately, my Lagree experience was completely different and fell well below those expectations.

As someone who has previous pilates experience, it's so refreshing to come to a studio where the teachers actually value and teach good form, while making sure you get a good workout and follow social distancing (masks on, everything's disinfected, windows open, etc.). At the same time, there's a great balance for beginners to get comfortable with the movements and equipment, since classes are so small. I brought a friend to her first equipment class a few weeks ago and she had a great time, too. Over zoom, I've had a blast with Dana and Brian. I wasn't really a fan of mat pilates classes before, but they've both taught me new equipment-free exercises and exercises with resistance bands that have helped me stay strong at home.

The entrance is on 29th ave versus the actual address on Wyandot, it's right at the corner and there is a ramp going down. There is also a signage, so you should miss it. I was greeted with warm welcome since it was my first time, I just had to sign a waiver. The instructor gave me the quick run down of the place and how class goes, especially it would be my first time again with pilates since 2017. It is a small intimate studio with 7 machine. They alternate between reformer and cadillac each week, so if you're prone to one or the other best call or text to find out. This week, we're on the cadillac. It was very calm and easy to follow. Definitely for all levels of pilates. I was definitely shaking towards the end of the class and I felt great. I was exhausted for the rest of the day! It means that it was a great class and I'm out of shape, haha! I will definitely come again!

Don't let the location fool you; it looks a bit like you're walking into an apartment building, but it's cute and cozy and clean once you walk in. The equipment is great (some of the best reformers in the city). Most important are the teachers. Ansley and Krista are both pros; I always feel like I get a solid workout, but I also love the cooldown/stretch at the end (not every studio does this). Oh, and they have the best music mix. They do a great job with watching your form and giving tailored, personalized adjustments. And they clearly explain how to modify each move so you can push yourself, but not feel intimidated when you're starting out.

They give you quiet paddles to keep the noise down for surrounding businesses and residents. They renovated the space a while back and it is clean and well laid out. If you are looking for a mindful, dedicated to their clients best interest, exceptionally knowledgeable and highly trained instructors kind of place...oh, in a locally owned business, you've found your studio. I love all the instructors and adore the owner Kim. Kimberly repeatedly proves that she puts her heart and soul into her studio to be the best that it can be. She goes above and beyond for her clients, and her understanding of pilates, body dynamics, and general anatomy is above par, so mush so that I needed to take the time to write this review. Such an affordable, adorable place to take pilates. I like that you don't have to choose between mat or reformer, you do both in most classes. I have purchased two packages since January and can definitely see a difference. You have to sign up in advance but can do it online. There are a lot of interesting classes. So when I noticed a Pilates studio in Park Hill, I was intrigued but hesitant. There ARE windows facing Kearney St, but the people inside didn't seem to be on display. Somehow I talked myself into it, and I'm very glad I did! If you've never done Pilates before, they require you to take 5 private sessions, but the good news is you can actually take them with a friend and it's cheaper. It's well worth it to get an idea of what in the world you're doing before you start taking classes. But even the classes are maximum 5-6 people! You never feel like you're in competition with the others in the class, and the instructors and office manager are very helpful and nice -- you'll never get a "what the hell are YOU doing here" vibe from them. Women of ALL ages and fitness levels are all welcome. They even have prenatal Pilates, too. You can see their rates on their website, which I appreciated. You also schedule classes online, which is easy.... ...except they have very few classes, and like I said they're small, and so you have to put yourself on waiting lists all the time. Since I'm trying to stick with my mom it's really really tricky to find a class with two open spaces! The waiting list does tend to work, though, and they call you when you get the spot. Bottom line is, if you're thinking about taking up Pilates, I highly recommend this studio. Oh, and when you're done you can go two doors down to Perk Hill and treat yourself to Liks ice cream.

They still offer the package I got for private Pilates so it wasn't like a special promo they were running... Jen said it was no problem and she would schedule me for my last 2 classes- then radio silence lol. I've sent emails to her, called and left a voicemail, no one ever answers the phone so like I said, not surprised they are closing but it's not a huge loss, plenty of other studios in Denver. I guess what bothered me the most is Jen makes up rules as she goes and doesn't keep her word and tells you what you want to hear to get your money. Oh well, $200 for 1 private Pilates class lol. Such a joke.

This is a small-ish studio, with classic and Cadillac reformers, plus they offer mat pilates with "the barrel" also. I enjoy a classic reformer session and am always happy to work in some jump board if it's being offered. The most important thing is stretching out my back and strengthening the core. It helps with posture and overall toning. While I'm not the most fit in the group, I can keep up with the intermediate students. Very wonderful, welcoming studio for experts or first-timers.
