We had a private barre class and it was really fun. The instructor was outgoing and engaging. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and gave alternative forms for those who might have had injuries, limitations, etc. There are changing rooms, cubbies for your belongings, and they provide dry shampoo, spray deodorant, etc. The music choices were okay. Some fun, some strange lol. But, nonetheless, everyone had a great time and it's a good group activity. We definitely felt it the next day. read more

I have come to Barre Forte LoHi a few times through ClassPass and really enjoy this studio. The studio is sparkling clean and the instructors are very motivating. I have done barre classes elsewhere in the past, but sometimes get nervous going to a new studio for the first time and being the "new kid" who does not know what is going on... I have never felt this way at Barre Forte! The instructors explain everything thoroughly and will correct your form as needed, without making you feel like the one who is lost throughout class :) So far, I have only taken their signature class, Barre Forte, but each time, I have gotten a great workout in and have woken up sore the next morning. I like these classes because they are absolutely challenging, but not so difficult to the point that I feel inclined to give up and slack. Great location, convenient to many shops and cafes. I cannot comment on the parking, as I walk to class. Glad to have found Barre Forte and will most definitely be back! read more

I love coming here!!! Every time I leave I feel a massive sense of accomplishment - the instructors are so amazing and encouraging and the studio itself is just too darn cute and inspiring. Barre Forte LoHi is in such a great location too, so close to the most decadent donuts and great coffee but also has a great supply of all the cute work out clothes/accessories .... because, why not treat yo self right after an insanely gruelling, shake changing class? read more

Street meter parking is relatively easy to find in the area or park in a paid lot when it gets busy. This was my first Barre class and naturally I was exciting to see what they have to offer. This is a very cute and modern studio just under the Highland Bridge across from Union Station with many boutiques, breweries and restaurants nearby. Our instructor was super knowledgeable and inspiring! The music was awesome as well! I was surprised to find out that Barre is actually a quite challenging cardio workout than I expected, which was great! I loved the various moves using different props to keep the class interesting! The studio is rather small but I can understand why given the prime location. Overall, I highly recommend Barre Forte if you're looking for a new fun cardio workout to add on to your routine! read more

What a cute place to workout in! The space is completely modern and the studio looks out to the bridge off Platte St. Thw instructor is really nice and encouraging AND is superb shape. Yes, when I grow up, I want a body like hers! Barre is quite the workout. I came here to try it out for a Yelp event and it really kicked my bum. One wouldn't think that doing small little movements would be difficult, oh, but they are! I was pouring sweat and my quads and glutes hated me. I'm glad I did the workout and tried it out, but man oh man, is it ever intense! I do love this place and would go back. read more

This is the trendiest barre studio I've been to thus far. I was feeling somewhat outfit inadequate at first but then I noticed even the dressed up people had to take plenty of breaks. That just goes to show that barre is hard for everyone! I went to a class on Sunday morning so the street parking all around was free and easy to find a spot. Going here during the week might be trickier. The instructor had fun, upbeat music and encouraged everyone to push themselves, but while reminding us to bend our knees and how to be aligned so we weren't straining any joints. At one point, she said "Come on ladies, you came here instead of brunch, power through it!". We all laughed and powered through it. I wish I had brought a yoga mat because there were a couple of moves in the beginning that we were on our knees on the floor. I have very sensitive knees so had to stop halfway through and still ended up with a couple bruises. If your knees aren't as knobby as mine, you should be fine. read more

I LOVE this studio! I live in Arizona and take and teach barre classes back there, but come to Denver a few times each summer to visit. I always look forward to getting to take a couple classes at this studio while I'm in town! Their classes are so unique to any other barre studios I've taken back home! The instructors are experienced and focus on teaching proper technique with corrections, the classes are challenging and fun with creative choreography, and the energy of the studio is just so positive and fun! I will continue to keep coming back during my visits, and only WISH they would open up a studio in Arizona, so I wouldn't have to suffer through any more pure barre and bar method classes lol! read more

This is a really nice barre studio. If you have never done barre before, be prepared, it's not easy. But it is a great workout.They target your legs, butt, core, and arms. All the instructors I've had classes with here were very good. Super energetic/positive/encouraging. The studio is very clean and nicely decorated, with big pretty windows. This workout totally kicks my ass, but I love it. It's also really convenient to bike here. Great instructors, studio is gorg, people are friendly. Very inclusive, I am not a skinny ballet dancer type and I felt right at home. And oh Gawd did I feel the burn. I first tried Barre Forte LoHi on ClassPass. It was by far my favorite of all the studios I tried in Denver and I ended up getting a membership. First off, the studio is beautiful inside and very modern looking. The owners are amazing and provide great customer service. And the instructors are the best. They all are very knowledgeable about the movements done in class and can provide adjustments or modifications if needed. The classes are an awesome full body workout and will leave you feeling great at the end. I can't recommend it enough! read more

Wow- this place is no joke, you will work your @ss off! I might be a puss but I remember this class as one of the most physically challenging hours of my life. I mean I've never delivered a baby or anything like that but I imagine this is as hard as barre gets- that's not a bad thing! I wish I could remember what instructor I had. She was like a friendly fitness robot- I was in awe of her muscles and endurance, the only one in the room with a smile on her face. Damn it was hard!
