The best street pizza I have had in my three visits to Rome. I have yet to visit the South, where the likes of Naples and Sicily have the rumored nemesis pizza to the Roman style. It's casual, clean, it's hip, the service is kind and willing to work with you through the language barrier if needed, and there's free wifi. Oh and did I mention that there are a lot of pizza options... A lot.
I always get the Margarita as my first order, just so I can taste their basic mold. Not only is the large size filling, but it is also served hot and fresh. You know it's a good sign when you can smell the tomato and toppings fresh before even tasting it. The large get you about 6 slices, and the only complaint I had was that I couldn't eat them fast enough for all to be hot. Oh, and I must say, the crust is ever to crunchy good! They have an interested eclectic spectrum of choices, ranging all the way to Pizza with Nutella. My brother had the ham and cheese, and while it was great, I did prefer the ham not overpowering my cheese, haha.
There is a nice little selection of craft beers, that I'm not sure if they brew themselves? They're good, and I usually get one of those or the freshly squeezed and blended juice (Centrifuge). They have options such as: carrots, orange, apple, and lime / lime, melon, pineapple / apple, orange, carrot /etc.
The bathroom is clean and spacious for a single, but there is no toilet seat. And as I mentioned earlier, there is free wifi if you just politely ask the server, who are happen to always be very nice when I visit. And lastly, the seating is few and up against the walls or windows, but some of them have wall USB chargers for phones.
I highly recommend giving Streat Art a visit when you're near the Via Po / Buenos Aires area, and getting a slice to go or take a seat. read more
