Found this spot near our hotel. While other places were starting to close up, they were still open which was perfect as it allowed us to grab a quick meal before calling it a night. Lots of seating available in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu was in Italian and we couldn't scan the QR code for the electronic menu since the wifi didn't work and we didn't have wifi of our own but the staff member was nice enough to assist us with the menu and help us locate the vegetarian items. Food didn't take too long to come and serving portions were good for sharing. For the pasta, I'd say it's more of a personal size. Pizza tasted delicious and prices were affordable. The gnocchi is made in-house and was recommended to us, and that too, was delicious. Felt quite full so didn't have room for dessert. The only thing we didn't like here was the the washroom/sink to wash your hands, were not working. We did a cooking class for €50 (about $60 usd). We had so much fun! We booked it online the day before, it was the cheapest one I could find. We learned how to make two types of fresh pasta and tiramisu. We also got about 3 glasses of wine! What a bargain. The class and dinner lasted about 2 hours. Our instructor spoke little English, which made the Italian experience feel even more authentic! After we made the pasta the chefs prepaid and cook it for you. Everything was delicious! You get a LOT of food! Thank goodness the tiramisu was light and fluffy! I would definitely do this again and highly recommend giving it a try! I had several pizzas when I was in Italy (Florence, Venice, and Cinque Terre). This was the best pizza I had the entire time I was there. We sat right next to the pizza oven and watched the cooks make and cook the pizza. I devoured and savored the pizza at the same time. I've been searching for a pizza this good ever since, but haven't been able to find it. I might just have to go back to Rome! We also did the cooking class - found on Viator. It was awesome, best experience in Rome BY FAR. Grace was a fabulous chef and a great teacher, she says her English isn't great but she was totally still understandable and you were able to have a great time. She would tell you how to do it and show you if you weren't doing it right. Lets get to the food!!!!!!!!!! The food was magnificent and we made it, I am willing to say that I bet the food prepared by the chef is even better! All of the ingredients tasted so fresh. We had a glass of wine and tiramisu and everything was perfect. Also in a very central location so easy to get to from everywhere. Don't waste your time! There are SO many better spots in Rome. In short - extremely long wait for our food (some of which came out cold), way oversalted pasta, didn't receive one of the ordered items, received one too many of bruschettas (and were charged for it), and on top of it we wanted to celebrate a birthday and they didn't bring out a dessert as they said they would. The details - We were a party of 5 that came for an early dinner. It started out well - we got sat in a corner table by the windows, got some good house white wine and enjoyed browsing through the menu. After we placed our order, I added in a single order of bruschetta. For some reason we received 2 plates - we thought that they just divided up a sigle order for us (other places have done this). The bruschetta was good, although it's tough to mess that up. While waiting for our food, we were scheming to have a birthday dessert brought for someone in our group. We talked to the waitress to get a chocolate cake with a candle. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. It was OVER AN HOUR until we received our food. We did notice that the back room had filled up completely since we ordered, with what looked like a tour group. Our order should've been in first so that shouldn't have affected anything, but seems that it did. Now our food - one dish was cold (fried calamari) and two pasta dishes were really really salty. Also the mixed salad is apparently as large as a regular salad. We were so disappointed with what looked like a restaurant with so much potential. Don't bother, really. read more

The food was very good and tasty, as was all the food I ate in Italy, with the exception of one pizza place that was terrible. My only thing about restaurants in Italy is that I feel like the service was lacking, and this place was no exception, but I can't really dock off that many stars when it's kind of a cultural thing and also because the food was so good. The pasta, pizza, and caprese salad were excellent. Also, they have free wifi and the password is the name of the restaurant in all caps. Meh. Food decent but common sense and service very lacking. We were upstairs and had been to another location previously. The waitress broke the wine glass setting it down on the back of water glass. The stem broke and little bits of glass were found. I had to ask to have the open glasses with drinks and salad to be removed and replaced. This seems obvious with glass breakage! Went there the other day for dinner, best Neapolitan pizza I have so far found in Rome. My wife told me that some reviewers thought they brought the water from Naples to do their pizzas, and while not exactly true, this chain has mastered the art of good pizza making. Prices are actually better than elsewhere in Rome and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. However, make sure you go with plenty of time, not starving as I did, because you'll end up waiting an eternity for your pizza and anything, including your waiter (though we found out that our waiter was more responsive if my wife yelled "Scusatemi!!! Potrebbe portarmi [qualsiasi cosa]???" I'm not sure if it was because she was yelling or because she's a good looking woman. read more

Our friends from Rome had us meet them here. It's right across the street from where Caesar was killed (bonus tourist site). Very nice interior. Lots of room and very casual. Two stories. The wait staff was very friendly. The wine list was very good. You can't go wrong with any thing on it. We all had pizzas. The margarita was great! The crust was just salty enough to be really tasty. The sauce was great. The kids went for the spicy salami Masesse pizza. It was perfect. The salami had a nice spice to it. We shared a very generous and good green salad. Very pleased with this place. The room is modern, pleasant and comfortable. The service was fine. We came very early in the evening for Rome - about 1700. So, we pretty much had the place to ourselves, although other foreign barbarians trailed in shortly after us. We had two kinds of wine, two kinds of pizza and bruschetti. We expected a wait for the pizza, but it arrived shortly after the bruschetti, so that was a little awkward. The pizzas were better than any we'd seen elsewhere in the various places we've eaten in or observed this week. Wonderful, inventive variety, also, using ingredients that made for a very interesting experience. I'd recommend this for a chance to try something outside the standard menu around Rome. We have been here about ten times and it can really vary. Sometimes the pizza is fantastic and the service is wonderful. Other times, the pizza is undercooked in the center, and the staff are horribly indifferent to our questions and requests. If you go, try not to sit on the ground floor. In the winter it's often freezing, otherwise it can be miserably hot and dry near the ovens. This can be a problem because the place is open all day, but the upper floor is only open at peak lunch and dinner times. read more
