I love that this place has multiple different themes through out the year and gives fresh new menus in addition to their core menu. The only complaint that I have is that I feel like they need to hire more staff or just simply staff at least two bartenders. My friends and I visited on a Tuesday night and the poor girl was getting slammed. We unfortunately were only able to order one round of drinks cause she could not keep up- we ended up tabbing out and heading somewhere else. She was a great bartender and super nice- Just felt like she needed extra hands! Will definitely be back regardless!

The space is smallish but they do have bar seating in addition to seating throughout. The service was friendly and the drinks were great. They don't offer food, but they do offer cocktails, beer, wine, and mocktails. I went on a Sunday and they have a special menu called "Almost Monday." It's a smaller, simpler cocktail menu and the prices are very fair compared to other cocktail spots. I tried the Caipirinha (pineapple) and the Negroni sour. Both were good. My favorite between the two was the Negroni. It had a pretty color and wasn't too sour or strong. I'd def recommend it and get it again. Definitely stop in and check out this cute spot in Shawnee.

Also, they have some really fun drinks as well that have been thoughtfully put together. We ended up sitting at the bar and I started with the Reformed Porn Star (vanilla vodka, bronson's tropical milk punch, passion fruit, Prosecco, citric acid and popping boba) which was by far my favorite drink and felt like I could have drank a couple more of these. Second I tried the Neo Cosmo (white rum, strawberry, cacao, coconut, rose hip, lime, bubble) which was good and was a fun drink with an ice cream shaped cup and a bubble on the top (meant to look like an ice cream cone). If you are in the area, this bar is a must try, the bartenders were awesome and took good care of us. Between the creative cocktails, fun atmosphere, unique floral setting, this was a memorable experience I'd definitely return for.

They also were 'blowing the taps' which meant we get to try many of the beers that they were saying good-bye to. So, a little story. I was one of the first to wander into a place called Brew Lab years ago. I actually found the place because of looking for brewing supplies. There were a good amount of tools here but also these folks were serving their beer! So, what a great idea. I bought some grain... and had a few beers! I visited this place a few more times on the regular. Suddenly one day there was appetizers. And had the most divine pretzel bites that have ever existed. Next time was an amazing club sandwiches. And some pulled pork. All of the food has always been great bar food. And then there was the beer. So many delicious beers each time. Too many to try at once. But, that is all memory lane... Now... here is the news! Brew Lab is changing. The ownership remains the same however they have given up the brewing. They will have a few of their specialty beers that they keep on tap but they will have a lot more taps of beer from other breweries. On this visit they brought out a large amount of samples of the food that they will be adding/altering in the menu going forward. There were a lot of really delicious items and I am excited for when they have the full menu and I can order some of them. Most notably I am excited for the Catfish Po'boy sandwich. We will be back soon to try the all new... Tall Boys. Look for that review coming soonish!

We ordered the Jamaican Mule & Patron Margarita. Both of our drinks tasted mixer heavy. Our server & another one we flagged down had no knowledge of the food menu items; they couldn't describe menu items, how they tasted or give recommendations . This shouldn't be the case for this change over, we blame the management for the lack of education. The highlight of our experience was the Pickle Bombs: fried chopped dill pickles & cream cheese. His Hot Chick sandwich had avery thin chicken patty, it had a good taste but needs more ranch. My Pocket Philly was extremely messy & very salty with the espinaca sauce. Prefer the former Philly in a pita. My side of tater tots were a little undercooked. Upon reviewing our bill, we were charged 50 cents for ranch. The side salad (premium side) already had a $2 up charge but we were charged 50 cents for ranch dressing? It seems excessive & needs to be communicated via menu or server. Overall, disappointed in the changes made. We felt like shortcuts have been made with the change & overall quality not as good.
