I was overdue for a visit here. My wife had been for happy hours with work and recommended it. Discourse has earned recent recognition in well-known beer publications. I could see why after my visit. All the beers I had were very good. It's a diverse menu with a lot of different beer styles. It seems like they have a rotation of regularly brewed flagships. There was a BBQ popup that was really good. There's also food close by that you can order takeout from to eat at the brewery. I can't wait to come back.

This is a smaller size brewery, but don't let that fool you!! They usually have under 15 beers on tap, but as someone that likes a wide variety of beers I have not had one that I didn't like. I am not a huge IPA person and I really like some of their IPA's. The staff is great to talk with and always friendly, you get that regular feeling here after one or two visits. They don't have a kitchen, but do bring in some food trucks as well as have worked with some local places that you can order from and will deliver to them.

This awesome brewery is the newest guy on the block and doesn't disappoint. The interior is large and spacious with super comfortable seating. Lots of plants and windows. There's even a few large tvs sprinkled throughout. They even have a fun little Nintendo nook. They music from the turntable was an added bonus. There is patio seating but I didn't get to check it out this visit. All of the beers (and yes, I pretty much tried every beer they currently were offering) were above average. Which I was surprised by because sometimes it takes new breweries a minute to work out the kinks. I would put them on par with Tall Trellis. So no kinks to work out here. Just delicious suds. They do have some wine, cider, and soft drinks for non beer folk. They also have lots of little extras, like 2-pack cupcakes. Which were delicious btw. The soft drinks are from some brewery in Wisconsin, the root beer and cream soda are top notch. They also sell soaps, honey, even coffee beans. And the staff members are friendly and helpful. Definitely check them out!

Ambience is modern but casual with an eclectic atmosphere. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My beer was a draft but not as cold as I would expect. I'll definitely be back.

There are breweries...then there is discourse! I will have dreams of these beers until I can come back! If you're a fan of a New England Hazy IPA you actually must come!! We enjoyed every hazy NEIPA they had, loved them all, and I enjoyed the coffee stout too. Vibes were amazing! Loved the random chairs, sticker wall, and staff. Had to take some to go!

Great place to have a beer and play a game. The menu is small but definitely not underwhelming. My favorite has to be the Java abyss. It is seriously so good. It is really smooth and a bit sweet. The bartender was nice and encouraged me to sample the wine. It was also very delicious. They had several games to play and I enjoyed hanging out in the sleek, clean, and modern atmosphere. I have been in twice now and each time they have had the tv volume on which is a bit of a different vibe than I am used to. The first time was during a KU game so I figured that was why. The next time they were playing the movie Elf. I was taken aback at first but I actually ended up enjoying having it on in the background.

I loved our stop at Discourse Brewing. I had the raspberry sour (rascally raspberry). I really enjoyed it and would drink this again. There was plenty of seating and service was quick. I really liked that you could order food from Buffalo State Pizza and have it delivered to Discourse. I plan to return and do that! There were large TVs behind the bar and we watched soccer and basketball. I plan on returning for a Sporting or Current game in the future!

I saw this new brewery off of metcalf the other night and decided to stop by. Their menu was small but everything I tried was delicious. I ordered the locust cider - honey pear flavored and it was very refreshing. My partner ordered the Java abyss which was a double milk stout with lots of delicious notes of coffee. Discourse doesn't offer food but you are able to order delivery from various local restaurants and QR codes are on every table to do so. They have a cute little gaming corner with a miniature NES with all the games preloaded and ready to play. Overall I had an amazing experience and we will be back soon.

This is such a great low key casual but nice spot for a beer. Comfortable seating. Staff is very friendly. Cold beers. Just need some food, tho they do offer meal delivery or BYOF which is nice! Lots of parking. Located right next to the home Depot.

I ordered a cream ale-Lickey Chewy that features strong butterscotch flavors. This beer was my introduction to POG at a Brewfest a few years ago and it's definitely one to try. I also tried the Eisbock and the stout. All were really good. I'm going to make an effort to return. And I plan to try the food and maybe catch some live music. But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.

I was one of the first to wander into a place called Brew Lab years ago. I actually found the place because of looking for brewing supplies. There were a good amount of tools here but also these folks were serving their beer! So, what a great idea. I bought some grain... and had a few beers! I visited this place a few more times on the regular. Suddenly one day there was appetizers. And had the most divine pretzel bites that have ever existed. Next time was an amazing club sandwiches. And some pulled pork. All of the food has always been great bar food. And then there was the beer. So many delicious beers each time. Too many to try at once. But, that is all memory lane... Now... here is the news! Brew Lab is changing. The ownership remains the same however they have given up the brewing. They will have a few of their specialty beers that they keep on tap but they will have a lot more taps of beer from other breweries. On this visit they brought out a large amount of samples of the food that they will be adding/altering in the menu going forward. There were a lot of really delicious items and I am excited for when they have the full menu and I can order some of them. Most notably I am excited for the Catfish Po'boy sandwich. We will be back soon to try the all new... Tall Boys. Look for that review coming soonish!

For a brewery with a maximum occupancy of 83 and an engagement party in the back with 70 people scheduled to attend...you can immediately see the issue. Not to mention the number of kids at this place, now I get it, it was around dinner time it wasn't 9pm however, one of the parties seemed to be a child's birthday party, um what? And why? What an odd place to pick for your sons like 5th birthday (excuse me I am not great at determining ages of snot nosed toddlers nor, do I want them roaming around the brewery I'm at). With all of this being said, the beer was fairly decent and the beef sandwiches were divine. If it was nicer outside, it was still pretty nippy outside and spring hadn't sprung yet, then they have a big patio and outdoor area that could have been utilized. Case in point if your brewery only holds 83 people and you book a 70 person party- number one, just don't. Number two, use business logic and common sense and make it a rule that parties over a certain number have to rent out the space entirely for a private party. And number three, most definitely don't double book your business- heck in this case triple book (with the Saul's pop up bound to bring in a tier of customers you don't normally have) The sour beer was our favorite because, it was only slightly tart and zesty with slight citrus notes, it wasn't too sour and sharp. It was easy to drink which sometimes sour beers are not. I would order this again however, both the IPAS I tried were just okay...the New England one I preferred more, the hop profile was more in line with a slightly piney taste, it was fine.
