So last night I was supposed to be attending the Sublime/Incubus concert but it was postponed/canceled. We had already mapped out where we were going to go before to get some food and have a drink and decided to stick with at least that portion of the original plan. I had not heard of this brewery in Bonner Springs and was excited to check it out. It's located in a strip of little business all connected together. There's a bbq spot, a little game/arcade area, a coffee shop/cocktail bar, little shops with randomness, a Mexican spot, and an ice cream shop. You can walk from one to the other and it's all inside. They have a cool outdoor space with a covered patio and cornhole. There's plenty of spots to sit inside or out and there's so many things and places that I feel like it would appeal to a large variety of individuals. I tried the stout and a pineapple Berliner Weiss. Both were ok. Not the worst but not the best. I think they may be a newer brewery and it definitely has that new brewery taste. #iykyk Everyone there was friendly and they were quite busy. It's definitely worth checking out and I look forward to returning and trying more brews.

Damn good beer! Left (IPA, forgot the name but delicious). Right: Pils coming in at 6% Abv and very flavorful!

Well hot damn! Worth a lil trip to Edwardsville to find this gem! Sampled a few and decided on two. Loved their can o corn cream ale as well as the cactus version that had peppers brewed in it. (Lil heavy for a full pour, though). The IPAs were both decent. Liked the monster one most. The pils was impressive in flavor and ABV. Nice and crisp on a hot day. Service was great. Folks were friendly and appreciative of business support. Simple pricing: $3 tasters, $6 full pours. I think they have cheez its, pub mix, PB pretzels you can buy by the cup. You can also BYOF. Outdoor patio seating was available and there was live music and a taco truck on the Saturday we went. They were also playing the World Series from 2016 . Get yourself to Outfield for some quality pours.

Great atmosphere and staff was very friendly. The beer was just ok/good but nothing really stood out.

The craft beer, industry…read morehas mushrooms across many areas of the country, and western Johnson County is no different. The space is friendly with its seating and there are plenty of games to keep you engaged while you enjoy your brew. The music theme lines the decor, with cassettes (remember those?) from all genres featured. Friction always has some of their own makings on tap as well as guest taps that can range from regional to national. The board will list the ABV for each beer, as well as the pour prices, and you can choose from anything between lighter ales to heavier stouts. I prefer the darker stuff and really love their 'Train in Vain', a brown ale with fabulous body. Don't miss their fresh-hopped varietals, such as the recent 'Earth & Sky', which gives you that right-off-the-trellis hoppiness. If you're not sure what you want, then the makers will always give you friendly suggestions. They're proud of their offerings and that pride comes through in the beer. Making unique craft beer is always a labor of love and Friction really shows you how they get it done.

They have a large patio area where dogs and kids can play and run around (leased dogs, not the kids ). They have a stage outside and lots of individual seating and picnic tables. They have one of the best brewery patios in KC. The indoor space is also fairly large and they do have a room that can be rented for private events. And this year, they added an outdoor tent so you don't have to freeze but can still be outside. They have a few TVs for sports ball watching. Service is always fanatic. Despite being busy, they're always clean. They do offer food-tacos, pizzas, kids menu. I've not tried any but I always see people ordering so it must be pretty good. It's a brewery so obviously they have beer, but they also have nonalcoholic beverages and wine. I stick to the beer. My favorites are alway the stouts. They remind me of simpler old school stouts that aren't sweet and heavy. They have live music and other events so make sure to follow their social media and definitely check them out!

I love all the outdoor seating and it's the perfect spot for friends and families to hang out. The Whipped Feta Skillet was AMAZING! I also really like the flatbread. We love the music on Sunday afternoons, and the food trucks/bands during the weekend. We love events like cookie decorating and pumpkin carving that they host! I appreciate that they give back to the community (Sundays with a "Pourpus" where part of each beer purchase is donated to a local charity for example), we adopted a puppy on one of those days! We've been coming since they opened and it's been really fun to see how they've grown in the last several years!

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.
