    Beer flight
    Dev T.

I loved our stop at Tall Trellis. We shared a flight and the whipped feta skillet and the buffalo chicken flatbread. I enjoyed each of the beers in our flight. As a sour lover I really liked the margarita sour and left with a 4-pack. I would go back just for that sour. The whipped feta skillet was amazing and had plenty to share and the Buffalo chicken flatbread was great as well. I would order those again when we return (especially the whipped feta!). The outdoor space was perfect for a beautiful day outside and very family friendly. We plan on coming back!

Loved this brewery! It's very family friendly and dog friendly with an outdoor seating area and patio tables. There's also an indoor bar and seating area. We enjoyed beer, beer flights, appetizers, and cocktails. The service was quick and friendly, and someone came around and took our empty plates and cups. The vibes were great and I look forward to going again!

This place gets packed, and for good reason. Great beers and ciders if you aren't a beer fan, a small food menu, and the coolest patio! It's a great place to chill outside and listen to some live music. The entire outside area is surrounded by a tall fence that is covered in hops. Very pretty and relaxing atmosphere. Go check it out when the weather is nice!

Let's start with the positives. The space itself is large, clean, and bright. The service was friendly as well. As far as the beer...the one we tried was not good at all. We didn't try the food, so I can't speak to that (it looked good though), but compared to all of the other amazing local beers in KC, this just didn't hit the spot.

Fun brewery in Olathe! For being right off the highway, it certainly doesn't feel it and it's very easy to access! The patio is spacious and a great place to hang when the weather is great! Live music and food trucks happen (weather pending) on the patios too! With a paved and gravel lot, there's options for seating, running, and playing! Lots of locally brewed beer (including use of hops they grow!) - some of our favorites are the sours and Mexican lagers. They also have guest taps and cocktails, and a wide assortment of N.A. drinks! The food menu has some snacks and meals! The new whipped feta is an easy favorite, but the pretzel sticks are also great. We've been for music bingo, meet ups with friends, date nights, and outings with our pup -- always a great time!

Great location for a place to hangout, catch a sports game or throw a party. Love the trendy upbeat vibe, the separate seating areas and ample outside lounging space. While the kitchen was closed during our visit, a food truck was available on site with delicious empanadas served up sizzling hot.

This $10 "flatbread" looks silly and tastes like nothing.

If you're looking for outdoor patio seating, TT is a great spot! Dog friendly too! I'm happy to see they brew their own beers now. Lots of guest taps and coffees on the menu. The wine is a bit pricey, the flatbread was very basic and the food truck schedule isn't easy to locate on social media or the website. But I would recommend this bar for all beer, coffee and patio lovers. This place is always busy and I'm so happy they're in the "neighborhood"!

What a GEM in Olathe. Olathe has long been lacking coffee shops with updated, modern vibes. Tall Trellis squarely meets that need. Even though Tall Trellis is a bit off the beaten path (no other retail in sight, tucked away off a residential exit off K-7), that doesn't seem to stop patrons from dropping in. Tall Trellis has been open least than a year, so I can only imagine their traffic will grow as word spreads about this place. I love coffee + bar concepts. Tall Trellis has a full coffee menu, as well as a full beer menu. They have a small food menu - I'd love to see that expanded and diversified at some point. I am gluten-free right now, and didn't see any options for me. Tall Trellis is spacious, with seating that accommodates groups both large and small. I sat comfortably by myself at the bar working on my laptop. There are large windows all along the front wall, giving the space a lot of natural light. (I'd love to see some plants in here to amp up the decor even more.) There is a lot of outdoor space - both a patio and what appears to be more of an event area that I will have to check out sometime during warmer weather. The baristas were ultra-friendly, helping me at both the register, and checking on me later to see if I needed anything. The coffee was good, and the price was reasonable in this economy. I plan on making Tall Trellis a part of my regular rotation! Excited for Olathe to have a place like this.

Tall Trellis vibrates with great energy. It is always full of interacting people. The food and beverages are good, and live music is regularly provided. Sit near to the band if you want to be able to hear them well (indoors), as the din overrides their volume. There is a gorgeous outdoor patio, where my friends and I go often to hear the live bands during the warmer months.

Lots of kids running around but still a fun environment, food and service. A place for families and a nice place to stop but for a drink.

Our server was just the cutest, nicest girl! She let us know about other events they have like trivia and even a spelling bee! There's prizes! How fun and exciting. I saw board games available for you to play at your table so having a group of friends or coworkers out could be so much fun. They have quite a few of their beers on tap. I'm not a big fan of beer so I passed on all of those and wound up getting a flight of their seltzers. They were delicious! I think the blueberry was my favorite. I really wish they sold these to go because I would've grabbed some on the way out. They sell some of their beers to go Now let's get to the grilled cheese unfortunately they don't always offer the flight and this was a special but they do offer the sandwiches for you to purchase individually with fries. My favorite was a berry and cream cheese one that also had bacon. it was scrumptious. All of them were good but it was my favorite. You got 4 halves, but the halves were huge. we shared one platter and it was enough for two people. It also came with a dessert grilled cheese. That was a s'more. yummy! Just in case anyone from Red Crow Brewing happens to read this review, I'd really like to recommend having the grilled cheese flight on the menu! Lol And please sell some growlers of your seltzer! The blueberry and POG were amazing! I loved them all! I really wish I could remember the name of our server because she was just the best! If I go back, I hope I see her so I can get her name and I promise I will come back here and add it to my review. Looking forward to returning soon especially if I can get there for a trivia or spelling bee night!

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.
