Truck was clean, with 60,000 miles on it. Air con, radio and everything else worked great. The lady at the pick up location (I can't remember her name) was very helpful and the process was quick and easy. On our first day of driving, after loading the truck for a few days, we noticed there was a serious leak under the truck. We took back to the rental location (fully loaded up with our belongings) and expected to have a lot of trouble, the lady told us that they were unable to do anything on site and we must phone Penske directly, we did and got through to somebody immediately and was told it would be 1-2hrs before someone arrived. At this point we both expected the process to take much longer but after 1hr somebody arrived to check on everything fixed us up and we were on our way. We even had people from Penske phone several times to check everything was fixed. As it delayed us slightly we needed to extend the booking for 1 day, Penske helpfully waived the extra day fee due to the initial issue. TIP - At the rental location they have certain times during the day when big trucks are being loaded and you're unable to get the rental truck out, so do call ahead to make sure.
