Thankfully the chairs were mostly covered with a blanket, but there was A LOT of poop, and I know those rats were all over my chairs and other items being stored. Tried to report this to on-site manager but after multiple calls and letting the phone ring until it shut off, I had to call Corporate. This happened on a Monday. No manager on site nor answering phones. Couldn't even leave a message cuz no voicemail! Corporate offered apologies but stated that I assume ALL risk. Rats are not my responsibility. The storage facility has dozens of rat boxes outside but you can see they haven't been serviced in forever. They are crusted with cobwebs and leaves. Also, several large spiders and their webs obstruct the light switch at the entry door! So, no housekeeping of any kind but you are still obligated to pay full rent, even with rats running around your storage unit. BEWARE!

A "FINAL NOTICE" (ONLY NOTICE) was mailed to me after (3) months stating all items in storage would be sold if not paid within a narrow time period? I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!

We had our unit here for almost 9 years, and it was an amazing experience for most of that time. Unfortunately, ever since management changed, everything has gone downhill. There have been rodents and droppings everywhere, and it affected my belongings pretty badly. To make matters worse, I found out they haven't had on-site management for over 2 months. That's honestly ridiculous. People have had their units broken into, and there wasn't even an email sent out to notify customers. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM. I arrived at 9:06, and there was nobody there. At first I thought, "No worries, things happen for a reason." But then I found out there was no one there because they haven't had management for 2 months. This is exactly why so many people are moving out. I'm honestly devastated because I get attached to places, and this storage facility has been part of my life for almost 9 years. Unfortunately, I have to move my belongings elsewhere. I really hope Premier gets new management because I would love to come back someday. But for now, I can't recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories, Premier. Oakley Self Storage has been a great place for us to store all our household goods. This place was brand new and offered great deals. They even have a military discount for all the military out there! We got a 10 x 30 because we knew we'd end up putting more in as we moved into our trailer. There are gates to get in and out, of the storage area, that require a personal code that helps keep everything safe. The only complaint I have is their payment system sometimes messes up. We signed up for auto payments every month and it doesn't always come out or it might be the wrong amount (without our military discount). Whenever this happens, we call and they fix it right away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommended this place for all your storage needs.

I told them two to three times that I am moving out on the move out date (8/31). They tell me to call them or leave them a voicemail saying I moved out and that that's all I have to do. I said great, and moved out by the time the office closed. I left a voicemail but the system kept hanging up on me. So I called again saying I left and moved out and left another voicemail saying I moved out. Today, (9/10) they bombard me with an email and a call saying I will get a late payment fee because I haven't paid rent??? So I tell them I been moved out for almost two weeks and they said they will check on the unit and call me back. No call after an hour, I call again and they say, "oh, they are checking on it right now." 2 hours later, I call again because no call back, "oh, we thought there was a lock so we didn't know it was empty so we will have to check again." What?????????? (This is the same person I talked to saying I am moved out and I will be moving out) they still have not called me back and this is frustrating and disappointing I have to even deal with this.
