What is even more concerning is that my account history showed multiple payments and cash refunds, even though I only made one payment for the entire 12-month period. My family contacted the facility manager, customer service, and the district manager numerous times seeking an explanation and resolution. We were repeatedly assured that the billing issues had been fixed and that the account was corrected. Despite those assurances, the problems were never fully resolved. Eventually, I was locked out of my storage unit due to an alleged unpaid balance of approximately $39, even after the district manager had confirmed that all billing issues had been addressed. In order to gain access to my belongings and move out of the facility, I felt I had no choice but to pay the balance, despite my ongoing dispute regarding the account. This entire experience caused unnecessary stress, confusion, and inconvenience. I expected accurate billing, transparency, and better customer service, especially as a senior customer.
