If anyone has a storage unit with AA Mini Storage in Lodi off Industrial Ave... please remove your items and find service elsewhere!! The woman manager/owner has been incredibly rude since I started my contract, but didn't think I'd have run ins with her ... today, two minutes after they closed(I didn't realize they were closed, on the plaque it says they're open til 7), but the side gate was open so I told the manager woman my code wasn't working... she told me "everyone's code works" and got in her car and shut the door. She was leaving, so I waited at the gate to come in, and she blocked my car and screamed at her husband to shut the gate, and starting cussing at me telling me I was "f-cking rude for coming up to someone's residence".... I had NO clue anyone lived there.. I told her I was a customer, and i just needed my luggage bag and she said "well you'll have to f-cking come Monday because we're closed. I remember you(and looked me up and down and snickered).If you have a unit it's a 5 digit code. You're f-cking insane if you think you came come here demanding to be let in". This woman was clearly having a bad day. I told her that initially she asked for a review when I signed my contract, and now I would leave one, and she laughed, told me "go ahead b-tch, everyone else has already left a reviews, yours won't matter". They tell you to leave a review your first month and they'll give you 10% off. She left and remembered my code, drove in, and was there for an hour and a half with no issues. A sweet little girl came up to me and asked me if I was the person that asked for my code, and she kindly reminded me that their office was closed. Anyways, took photos of all my stuff, including the roof of my unit which leaked all over my things, and the manager saw and came running out. The little girl came up to me ahd asked if I had a problem. I told her she was kind and polite, I didn't have a problem with her, but the way her mother came up to me was ok and I was fine discussing it with the adult. The mom asked me what was my unit number, and I told her she should know she's the manager, and she told me "next time you come don't be surprised when your unit is empty". I don't have room for the stuff in the unit, but took what I could, took photos and video, and left a report with police. I'm really worried about my stuff, I have expensive designer things in there, keepsakes that are irreplaceable, and things that belong to family in there. If you have a unit with this place, and store valuables, please love your stuff so you don't have a similar experience. If anything, go take photos of your things ASAP so you have it on record. Btw we so have record that my payments are up to date, and on time every month. Be careful out there, can't believe such ill-mannered and foul management is allowed to be in this town. Also have a video of the manager coming up to me, but will be saving that for when/if my stuff is removed. read more

The manager Jessica is SUPER RUDE, unprofessional and condescending!! It's unbelievable that she has a job here at all! I simply have called here twice in the past few months inquiring about a large unit and her tone was awful! and she was just a very rude low class sounding person, I can't even believe it no customer service skills WHATSOEVER, I will not go here simply because of her attitude! On the 8th of June, 9am Monday morning, I called to make a payment and left a voicemail like I usually have for the past 2 years. She called my husband back instead of the number I left and he said he would have me call her back since he is at work. I was taking care of our son and not 15 minutes went by and she called me. I answered "oh my gosh I forgot to call you back" to which she responded "your husband said you'd call right back, I've been sitting here waiting for you I have lots of things I need to do today" I responded with my card number as quickly as possible and said "sorry I made you wait to do your job" which she replied with "I dont know why you have an attitude I'm always nice to you when you call". Which by the way is not true. She has an attitude EVERYTIME we call to make a payment. She claims she doesnt have time to call and remind everyone about their storage unit, which should be her job? Then she refused to let me speak, interrupted me constantly and hung up on me twice. She gave us a deal on our first month for writing a good review, well here's the TRUTH! It's a good company with a shitty employee. We have never missed a payment if we were late never complained about a fee or when they raised the unit price. Jessica has always been helpful and friendly. She is always available to answer any questions I may have. The storage units are very clean and the grounds are neat. Customer service? No. The only customer service I have ever experienced from this business is atrocious. Degrading tone of voice, serious lack of listening skills, twisted unclear billing, etc. The most recent encounter including changing the amount due, yelling at me and HANGING UP ON ME. I would not recommend this business to anyone. The office management that has been employed in the time that I have had a unit is the worst I have come across. The pricing is comparable for a reason. While the rates are great, the manager of the location is very difficult and unprofessional at times. I got into a brief disagreement and she simply reacted by evicting cause me without cause. Attempts to speak with the owner or her supervisor were simply met with attitude and disregarded. I agree with Amand S. Rates are good there but the manager Lori Tannehill is very unprofessional with a "I can do whatever I want" attitude. Evidently Lori you forgot about the "I can rent wherever i want" attitude that I have as well. when you allow another tenant to set up a 10 x 20 canopy over his boat space and tell me I'm not entitled to the same in my boat rental space right next to his and your reason is because "i can do whatever I want"? Went to go grab a few things from my parents storage had the wrong gate code asked for assistance and got nothing but attitude like we were bothering whoever was working at the time - I've really never had someone be so rude because I had the wrong code , if you don't like your job don't work there because you make people that are having a great day end up having a bad one all because u have a salty attitude . Well this is my second post. I had one awhile back however Jessica reported it and some how had it removed. I guess this is how she keeps her ratings up. Fact is this manager is not a good person and her family is even worse, no their all really bad, they made claims we did not make payments, not true if this were true then they would have just sold our stuff. Think about it people! Her husband is a punk, info on that is he literally tried to attack my daughter until my husband stepped in, there's 2 reasons a third their son tried to open our storage building when we were in the middle of removing our things then when confronted and asked why mommy (Jessica manager???) and the rest of her clan came out and started yelling to get the lock off and leave! Just for everyone's info, we came on a Sunday just to avoid trouble with them because of previous times of Jessica "manager" being rude and extremely unprofessional and our stuff wasn't even due out until that following Wednesday! read more
