I'm a customer with 3 units at Park West Self Storage in Stockton, CA at Trinity Parkway. I'm in a desperate situation and I'm hoping someone may be able to help. If nothing else, I want to share my experience in hopes that no one else suffers such a profound loss as I have. I've spoken to manager Debbie at Park West Self Storage with hopes that I may be able to salvage some of mine and my children's personal belongings; as these items are quite literally the only things we have since leaving a toxic 13 year relationship. I don't expect much to come from telling my story, but I have to at least share it. It's devastating to know the few belongings of myself and my children have been sold at auction for a mere fraction of the cost owed for rent. $50 versus $1,347.00 payment owed. Unfortunately, I just don't have the funds to cover that cost again, I've brought the balances current whenever I've been late before but I just couldn't do it in time. If there is any way possible to have a policy that allows people the chance to at least recover their personal belongings, maybe this could help. read more

2 Rent increases in 1 year is ore than enough!!! I was at 221.00 in December 2023 got a notice that says Rent increase to 239.00..okay...I understand but today got a rate increase notice increasing my rate to 275.00 starteing July 2024...ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!! That is a 20% rate increase in less than 8months.... There are other places and with a new storage place approved by the city and being built 2 blocks away I and others will go elsewhere....Service has been okay but it seems like they started carrying about money and less about the customers....As far as the managers they use the power at Park West storage to charge their car and use it for things like uber... read more

I have been a customer for 3 years now. The managers are the best. I always go alone and work at my storage units by myself and feel really safe. Everything at this storage center is very clean. James the manager drives his golf cart around units just checking on things. They also have cameras in their office to keep track of things. The locks on everyo unit is checked late afternoon to make sure they are locked and safe. I left my cell out of my storage once and they brought my cell to my house (15 minutes away from storage) before I knew it was missing- now that is service beyond! Park west storage! Great trusting staff, clean property and can't complain. I've been a customer for I think more than 5 years. Its close to the freeway so I love the location. James and his wife are very pleasant And they're cute dog !! So knowing the owners makes it easy on my heart to store my extra belongings there. They send texts emails and calls if any reminders are needed which really helps us busy folks. I use my storage as If i have to store my winter clothes. Such as when Christmas comes around i head on over and pull out all my Christmas decorations and when it's time to put Christmas away, back to Park west i go. So They really maintain the property, which really helps me open up my storage with confidence when I have to bring Christmas back out. and I LOVE DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS. Stay faaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from this company. The people who operate the business are extremely friendly. It's unfortunate they work for such money hungry people. They send emails about hikes in rent at 1:00 AM so you would never know they hiked the rent for the last 6 months. read more

By far this has been my best storage experience... Reasonably priced.... The location is super accessible from the freeway. Debbie and Jim are awesome at keeping the property up and are always quick to take care of any concerns. After renting here for years without incident one afternoon i was contacted by the managed a bald guy he instructed me that i needed to come to the stoarge facility there was an issue with the security of my storage when i arrived we walked over to my storage he was very nice at first when we arrived at my storage he turned into a complete demon he demanded i open my storage so i did because i had nothing to hide as soon as i did he apologized and said im sorry i thought there was a weed smell coming from your unit it must be someone else's. I only write a review on Yelp if a place is either great, or if it was really bad. This place was the former. From start to finish, this place was great. Friendly customer service every time I spoke to them on the phone. No "up-selling." Billing was never an issue. I just called and paid over the phone and I never once found myself asking "wait, what is this weird charge?" I know everyone's experienced that. Nope, this place kept things simple, was well-priced and had great customer service, which can be extremely hard to find these days. That alone would make me go back there if I ever needed storage in Stockton again. It's really refreshing to have an experience with a business where it runs smoothly from beginning to end. They even accomodated me when I had an issue with my "move-in day"....very rare. This place is a diamond in the rough seriously. Go here if you want a hassle-free great experience for something as simple as storing your things. Security is pretty standard for all these places and this place is the same...(cameras, lights at night, gated w/code, etc.). read more

I by all means don't like to keep my stuff in storage and usually prices are horrible, but Debbie has been a blessing in disguise. I moved to southern California for work and my family had to put my stuff in storage for me and I thought it would be a nightmare.
