prices increase is insane here. went from 79$ to 134$ all after they remodeled. did get a call after i closed my account with them and had emptied my unit. would you consider staying if we lower the cost? lol don't raise it that much to begin with.... smh online price 71$ for the same unit at this time. also make sure to check the door of your unit. upon getting my unit i found that the latch was broken allowing with a lock on to still open the door. when i showed this i was met with a person that didnt know how to fix it and they had no one there to fix it. i used their tools and replaced the entire latch myself.... should have walked away then.... lesson learned. read more

I have a travel trailer that I needed to store. I looked at a few options around town, but my hubby and I settled on this place. Immediately knew it was a mistake when the advertising special was not applied to my account, the manager said that they mistakenly advertised the discount on parking spaces when it should have a only been on actual storage units. Whatever. I didn't need it so I didn't make a huge deal out of it. Now flash forward 1 year later, I went to pick up my trailer last night for a weekend trip this weekend, and there's a bullet hole straight through the front of my trailer. Trashy area, and of course they aren't going to be able to do anything about it. Now I'm out God knows how much to repair my trailer when I've paid them to store it. I wouldn't recommend parking anything if value here! read more

I am only giving this place 1 star because 0 starts is not an option. The lady was rude and the managers and owner refuse to address their actions! They locked my sisters unit the morning the bill was due and refused to let her in to grab something. They won't give any number for corporate so you are stuck talking to the employee that is there and all they can offer you is a possible call back but not when it will happen. Never heard of a place that locks your storage before your bill is even late but i would recommend any other storage business than this one. read more

i have been renting a unit from this company before it was waterloo storage and was waldo rose storage and never ever have i had until today ... someone come out the front office and tell me i had to get out of my wheelchair (im permanently handicap been my whole life) and walk my chair into my unit because im a liability if i enterbin my chair!!! this is down right discrimination and i am highly upset and disappointed that these are the kinds of people that now own what used to b such a wonderful place to store my things ... i will no longer be recommending any of my family or friends to this place whixh is sad seeing qs how over 8 of my family memebers are and have been renters from here for over 10 years.... very very unsatisfied with new owners and there staff!!! read more

I moved after 3 years they will raise your rental units without notice. Also everything get cover with dirt blowed in by the wind, killed 3 rats with traps because the rat get in any boxes with clothes. read more

First time renting, placed hold on line and first they could find the reservation then couldn't give discounts as advertised! Then additional fee (move in ) and required monthly insurance fee? This place is a dump! They steal your money! They illegally charged my card and refused to pay me the overdraft fees I accumulated from it. First they lie and say oh we wouldn't do that then they say show proof. I showed proof and they said oh ask your bank to refund you. It's not the banks fault it's yours! The lady they have call you is a snake! She don't care about the customer at all. The last four months they have went threw five managers! They harass for the payment if your late. There's no grace period. My first time getting a storage self storage unit, I needed a place to store my items, from the first call Sandra was excellent told me to come in and look at the unit that I wanted, and explain due to unforeseen circumstances unit not available and for me to come back until it's ready which was a matter of three days or so which I did not mind, went today to get the unit had the pleasure of seeing Sandra again, she advise the reservation I did was for the wrong size unit and it was not for the one that she showed , so she had asked me politely to come back tomorrow at 2 PM so she can get together with her manager and link the $25 reservation fee to the one that she showed me, she did not want me to store my items in such a small space of what is the size of a bedroom closet, and she took initiative and caring and understanding way before I even got there. If this is not great customer service I don't know what is. Looking forward to working with her and getting my stuff stored safely and securely. read more

This place is garbage no good at all dont go to waterloo road self storage they are crooks somebody broke into my unit stole a few things at first they said they had the person on camera now there saying they didnt catch anybody and the owner jeff very unprofessional and very rude didnt want to compensate anything to us they even got a crappy survailance system that like 10 cameras r so dont work i wouldnt recomend storing anything there at waterloo road storage and u cant even get into your storage agter a certain time garbage garbage garbage................. read more
