There is no one in th apartment and no one ever in the office. . This is an area that backs up to railroad tracks with homeless around there. With no one on site it is an opportunity for robberies. I was robbed and have talked to 4 others who have been robbed in the last few weeks. To make matters worse they raised the rent $40. per month. Needless to say I had no other option than to move my things to another storage. I had many conversations with PS about their lack of security & no one seems to care.

I've worked a lot of jobs, and totally understand being new and having to adjust to a new job. But this level of ineptitude was unmanageable. She didn't know any policies or rates, and kept referring to her "field supervisor" who of course I couldn't speak to for some reason. I probably won't be going back there anymore because of it. I hope they figure out how to train new employees or get rid of her.

They would go out of their way to help you move something heavy and he always made sure that the property was spotless. It's not a new building but they do maintain it well. This is a storage locker place…read more I first rented here when it was something like NEST storage. Rate was reasonable for the space, as I got one of the larger units. It cost me $150 a month. Less than a year later Public Storage bought it. And I knew bad things were coming. Sure enough, almost immediately they raised the rent by $50. No change in services, along with vaguely threatening emails about how a late charge would be issued if I was even a day late with rent. Now, April 28th, 2022, I get the second rate hike in as many years. The same unit that cost me $150 in 2020, will now cost me $260. Again. No change in service and the same threatening emails. But, oh yeah, I am a "valued customer." Who isn't even given an email address to respond to. Well, all my stuff is going. It's either going in a friend's attic or to Teen Challenge or Goodwill. I'm done with this. I know someone else will probably take the unit. I know space is a premium. I know most people don't care. But this is absolutely ridiculous and if I had my way, Public Storage would be run out of town and out of business.
