I rented a unit for a family member; a week later, I transferred the unit into the family member's…read morename. To do the transfer, we went into the Keizer storage office and signed paperwork as needed. I stayed until I was told the transfer was complete. Moving forward six months, I go into the storage center to rent a unit. I'm then informed I'm responsible for a $1200 storage bill. Shocked and confused, I explained the unit had been transferred out of my name, and I had no access to the unit since the transfer nor any communication. The manager then said the office employee failed to sign all the documents as required; therefore, the unit, along with a $1200 bill, defaulted to me. I was not a contact on the unit or given permission to access it after signing it over; therefore, I had zero contact with the storage center. I received no notices, letters, emails, or calls. During the six months, the storage center accessed the unit several times without approval, notice, or permission. On multiple occasions, The storage center permitted employees and others unknown to me to access the unit, removing property as desired. The Keizer Storage Center takes Zero responsibility for the actions of its employees, managers, or what happens on their grounds. You pay to protect your property behind a locked gate only to have the employees access and grant others access to property not belonging to the storage center. I will never do business with them and will warn anyone considering it. Keizer Storage Center has what I believe is an auto-response of "We would love the opportunity to resolve any issues." What would be genuine is to take responsibility and apologize for your wrongdoing, train your employees to complete unit transfers correctly, follow the law and stay out of units without proper notice, not give access to a unit without consent, and refund the money paid.

The management team is amazing, kind, thoughtful and understanding. The units are clean and feel…read morevery secure. You have 24 access to your unit if needed. Best storage facility I have even used.

I've had the larger unit for about a year now. I've never had any problems with the people in the office, and the two or three times I've had to pay late I just called and let them know and they let me know how things would go with late fees and all that. Now that I can pay online it makes things even easier. The only down sides have been that they JUST recently raised the rates (but it's still cheaper than almost all other storage places), and the website to make payments is a little wonky at times. Other than those two things, everything else has been great. I appreciate the professionalism and courtesy and would recommend Chemewa Road Mini Storage to anyone needing a storage unit, assuming of course they had any units available at such a great price.

The Unit has been fine. I have been told if I did not pay my bill on time there is a late fee and…read morethey do not send a bill. I went during business hours to ask about my bill and no one was in the office and thought perhaps with Covid I needed to ring a bell so was looking around and a lady in the parking lot started to yell at me. It was shocking as she was quite condescending and angry , I am not sure why. She really treated me like a child who had misbehaved badly. I was in shock by her cruelty and have some PTSD. Then when home I realized when I did the math I had paid through the end of May but she said I owed money May 1. I am unsure if it was an honest mistake on her part or fraud. I have been quite down about the whole thing. Usually in my experiences businesses are ethical so I have been quite taken off guard.
