I'm on the road a lot for my work, and I tend to stay places for weeks if not months at a time. When I called to make the reservation, Sharon, the woman who took my call, was most pleasurable to work with. They didn't require the third degree to get you in for a monthly rate. Nothing like that RV park up in Wilsonville just off interstate five, which actually took three days to do a background check before allowing me to stay for a month! Sharon helped me get settled in, she let me pick the spot I wanted, and her park guy, Robert, came and helped me actually set things up. Not that I needed the help, but it was just so nice to have people make you feel at home. This park is situated well off interstate five and takes about 20 minutes to get there from interstate five. It's a bit of a hassle to get your trailer through Salem, but once you get to the RV park you realize it's well worth the trip. This park couldn't be quieter. The spaces are large and the landscape is impeccable. She actually suggested paying for a monthly rate because it was cheaper than paying a weekly rate for a few weeks. You have a lot of full timers here, but you don't have any crap laying around. Nearly all of the trailers are late-model, and these people are serious RVers. The park is very clean, the showers are incredibly nice, the laundry facilities are adequate, and the lobby is nice just to go in and sit down and read a good book. If I had any complaints, it would be the quality of the cable TV service. Each site seems to be daisychained from the site next to it, so you get a lot of interference on most of the channels. Of course if you have a satellite dish, this won't be an issue. And the Internet is not that fast, so don't expect to be watching any movies on the Internet or downloading large files. It's adequate enough for basic email. Don't confuse this Premier RV park with the one that's out on the highway five. They are completely different. Take my word for it, this is the park to stay if you're in or around Salem. And it's pet friendly too!! If you're interested in seeing my review about the Wilsonville RV park, just go to my members page and search. Happy trails!

Silver Spur RV Park, Silverton, OR August 22-26, 2025…read more This is our 3rd time here over the course of the last 7 years. It's not my favorite RV park, but it's better than most and works pretty well for our needs. The RV Park is right next to the main highway coming into town that can get pretty busy at times, hence, noise. It seems like the park has gone downhill a little. The sewer hook up for my site was broken. I managed dumping our tanks without making a mess, but it should have been repaired. The WiFi is next to useless. Cell coverage for Verizon was pretty bad too. But Silver Spur is really the only game in town. It is nice to be very close to the main town of Silverton, which has a nice brewery and tap house, along with nice shops. It's about a mile away from The Oregon Gardens, which is a true gem that must be visited. Mount Angel (with Abby, sausage company, and brewery) is about 6 miles away and Vitis Winery is also close by. Silver Falls State Campground and Park is about a half hour away, but it's almost impossible to get a site there during the summer season. I understand they do have hook ups. That park's trails and waterfalls are also a must. Silver Spur park has gravel roadways and sites. It has full hook ups (electricity a must for air conditioning on 102 degree days with 70% humidity), a swimming pool and jacuzzi, nice club house with game room - pool table, foosball, TV, etc.,laundry area, dog area, kid play area, and propane refill. They'll drive a cart to your spot to pick up your 6 gallon tanks to refill them for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in is Smooth.

Then I retired and in September of 2024, I made it my full-time home base. Over the past summer, I traveled more than 12,000 miles, visiting 53 RV parks along the way. I can honestly say that Phoenix RV Park is the best park I stayed in all summer. The streets are paved, and the sites are concrete. There is a patch of green grass between the sites along with trees, shrubbery, and foliage. Although I was gone at the time, I understand there was a problem with the irrigation system this past summer. However, when I returned in October, the grass at my site was still green, and it was obvious, from the work I could see going on, that the park was putting a significant amount of money into getting the system upgraded and repaired. The grounds are well maintained. Phoenix RV Park has cleanest laundry facilities I used all summer, including many public laundromats. In addition, there are three small dog parks, restrooms with showers, a workout/meeting room, a small store with RV essentials, a huge DVD library and even a gathering room with a full kitchen that is available with prior arrangements. You can tell that a great deal of effort is put into providing a welcoming environment for the residents. I understand that there may be plans in the works to make it even more "homey" for those of us who call it home. Melanie (the manager) and Rob (all around maintenance guy) run the park well. Melanie has always been friendly, helpful, and cooperative, and has gone out of her way to provide me with reasonable requests. From the research I did, Phoenix RV Park is, at the very least, competitively priced, and is lower than many other RV Parks in the northern Willamette Valley. I've made some meaningful friendships in the time I've been here. Overall, I'd recommend Phoenix RV Park all day long. It's a place to put down some of your roots and stay a while.

We were looking for something long term, and when I called we lucked out and they had a space. Now let's get into the details. I explained the size of our trailer and truck, they said we would fit. We got to the park and we were pleasantly surprised in the beginning because it was pretty, a pretty parking lot but pretty. Our site was back in, and we barely fit. They "oversaw" our parking, kept telling us we could move over (if we moved over more our slide out would have been in their bushes). The man who was overseeing our parking also insisted that I was not leveling our trailer properly and that their cement slabs were perfectly even, ours was not. They didn't want us to back up closer to the fence so there was room for movement, but other trailers were. The space next to our trailer consisted of a parking space, which with our trailer and our truck, we had barely room to walk in between the two, so no space. Then there was the grass, oh the grass. Each sight has strip of grass, which they do NOT want you to walk on, or your dogs to walk on, or anything. Now, I refer you back our truck barely fit in the space, so of course we had to walk on the grass to get into the truck, and we receive admonishing emails for it. Any open grass was also not for dogs. They had mini dog spaces at the end of the park, covered in wood chips, our dogs seemed oddly nervous to go in there, and due to the dog virus going around this time, we had to drive our dogs out of the park to potty them. There were a few gunshots while were there for the 30 days, we heard them, however, they do have security that drives around the park at night so that was nice. They are backed up against a Safeway, and if you have those spaces they reverberate all night as the trucks come in. They have other pull through spaces supposedly for temporary and one night guests, but there were long term guests there as well. Ultimately, this park is stellar if you want a pretty , well manicured park, that you do not want to meet your neighbors, have an outside environment and you have small dogs. If you want a neighborhood feel, with space for your dogs, and space for you, I would steer clear. Laundry room was stellar. Water pressure was mediocre.

A Complete Disaster -- Avoid at All Costs…read more Staying at this RV park was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is not just "run down" -- it's completely neglected and unsafe. The issues start at the top, with the owner and management, and trickle down to the tenants. It's common knowledge among those familiar with the park that the manager and her son allegedly accept drugs as payment for rent. The signs of meth use are unmistakable and create an environment that feels dangerous and unpredictable. The condition of the park itself is appalling. During my two-night stay, I encountered one of the most alarming issues -- a trailer leaking raw sewage directly into the street. The odor was unbearable, and the source was easy to trace: a trailer located in the middle row, on the right side, about 4-5 trailers down from the office. This is not just a health hazard, but a blatant violation of safety standards. Adding to the frustration, the park falsely advertises having WiFi. In reality, there's no functional connection. I wasted hours waiting for the manager's son, who sat glued to his phone on the office bench for five hours after telling me he "may or may not" have it running before 6 PM. His indifference was beyond unprofessional -- it was downright insulting. As you walk around the park, the neglect is impossible to ignore. Trash is scattered everywhere, weeds overrun the grounds, cars are out of place, and trailers are falling apart under the weight of hoarded junk. The lack of care and complacency from those managing this place is staggering. They're lazy, argumentative, and clearly unbothered by the chaos around them. What's worse, the owner seems complicit in all of this. Allowing the management to operate like this -- turning a blind eye to drug use and unsanitary conditions -- suggests that he's either unaware of the reality or perfectly content with running his property straight into the ground. It's hard to believe that anyone who cared even remotely about their investment would let things deteriorate to this point. Frankly, I'm shocked that the city hasn't stepped in to shut this place down. It feels like it's only one sewage leak or police raid away from being condemned. I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone, under any circumstances.

Moving forward six months, I go into the storage center to rent a unit. I'm then informed I'm responsible for a $1200 storage bill. Shocked and confused, I explained the unit had been transferred out of my name, and I had no access to the unit since the transfer nor any communication. The manager then said the office employee failed to sign all the documents as required; therefore, the unit, along with a $1200 bill, defaulted to me. I was not a contact on the unit or given permission to access it after signing it over; therefore, I had zero contact with the storage center. I received no notices, letters, emails, or calls. During the six months, the storage center accessed the unit several times without approval, notice, or permission. On multiple occasions, The storage center permitted employees and others unknown to me to access the unit, removing property as desired. The Keizer Storage Center takes Zero responsibility for the actions of its employees, managers, or what happens on their grounds. You pay to protect your property behind a locked gate only to have the employees access and grant others access to property not belonging to the storage center. I will never do business with them and will warn anyone considering it. Keizer Storage Center has what I believe is an auto-response of "We would love the opportunity to resolve any issues." What would be genuine is to take responsibility and apologize for your wrongdoing, train your employees to complete unit transfers correctly, follow the law and stay out of units without proper notice, not give access to a unit without consent, and refund the money paid.
