Very nice people to work with! We were there for years and always had a nice relationship with the management.

Very unsettling experience of having another storage renter complain about me and lie saying I live…read moreout of my and my boyfriend's storage unit and was showering somehow? a video camera faces our unit and its full. The man said he felt unsafe around me. I was profiled by a stranger and then they went as far as trying to remove me from 'their' storage area by maliciously making up perverted lies. Scary part is, every neighbor I met was delightful and i never once had a foul exchange. Let that be an anchor for how uncomfortable I am. I'm a young heavily tattooed female who travels and camps with my partner a lot in the summer. The first week I was even really around (cleaning from a huge move, the camp, laundry to store away, tiny bit of bead-work unpacking) we got a complaint yet my partner and I had already had our storage in the facility for 4 months. We have the same address. Its preposterous to think me with even a gate code, and my padlock code, how am I a danger or showing I am not allowed to be there? Obviously I'm not a criminal. Its laughable really. This storage area lets people loiter all the time, use the car wash rv dump wash area, chat with neighbors, and work in their units. Ive seen people drinking beer in front of their units with food laid out. Im not allowed to be around the same solely because of profiling although we were given tons of excuses why we can't be around. Its profiling. So beware if you're a tattoo artist or in an alternative field with tattoos... This area has a renter that lies even tho video cameras are around and no one checks them if they're on im guessing, If they were checked or running they'd see the blatant attack at me from a creep I never met. So beware cameras aren't monitored here presumably because of the ability and ease of someone creating such a story with no one reviewing. I have no clue how anyone would live in a storage unit here when they have a home but I digress. Beware of profiling if you have art on you. A very scared hateful person here will make your storage experience uncomfortable and hurtful to say the least. The owner could do a better job having other renters mind their own business while he checks his cameras to see if the complaint is even real or possible to begin with! Poor use of surveillance cameras. All for show!

I rented a unit for a family member; a week later, I transferred the unit into the family member's…read morename. To do the transfer, we went into the Keizer storage office and signed paperwork as needed. I stayed until I was told the transfer was complete. Moving forward six months, I go into the storage center to rent a unit. I'm then informed I'm responsible for a $1200 storage bill. Shocked and confused, I explained the unit had been transferred out of my name, and I had no access to the unit since the transfer nor any communication. The manager then said the office employee failed to sign all the documents as required; therefore, the unit, along with a $1200 bill, defaulted to me. I was not a contact on the unit or given permission to access it after signing it over; therefore, I had zero contact with the storage center. I received no notices, letters, emails, or calls. During the six months, the storage center accessed the unit several times without approval, notice, or permission. On multiple occasions, The storage center permitted employees and others unknown to me to access the unit, removing property as desired. The Keizer Storage Center takes Zero responsibility for the actions of its employees, managers, or what happens on their grounds. You pay to protect your property behind a locked gate only to have the employees access and grant others access to property not belonging to the storage center. I will never do business with them and will warn anyone considering it. Keizer Storage Center has what I believe is an auto-response of "We would love the opportunity to resolve any issues." What would be genuine is to take responsibility and apologize for your wrongdoing, train your employees to complete unit transfers correctly, follow the law and stay out of units without proper notice, not give access to a unit without consent, and refund the money paid.

The management team is amazing, kind, thoughtful and understanding. The units are clean and feel…read morevery secure. You have 24 access to your unit if needed. Best storage facility I have even used.

I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA' they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess? but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. in the end this guy ruined my 2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions.
