Stop Cafe Pizza&Grille - Greek salad with grilled chicken - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Worcester, Massachusetts

This is THE best cafe I have ever experienced. The care that the staff put into the food & service is unmatched. Prices are affordable too. I will still be coming to Worcester for this cafe long after I move out of this town. read more

SOOOOO good! Spinach pizza with sesame garlic crust: crust was crunchy and chewy and the sesame seeds were not overpowering. Very very good. It doesn't need the mozzarella though with all the other yummy toppings that includes ricotta. Suxhuk with Kajmak: first time trying this dish. The sausage was perfectly seasoned and the Kajmak (clotted cream) was absolutely delicious, along with the bread. I will definitely be ordering this again!!! read more

From the clear glass with neatly placed cakes to the little cup of coffee they serve, you can tell they care about their food. It was quite busy on this Sunday morning. The interior was simple with low, high and outdoor seats with a screen tucked in the corner. It's not necessarily the kind of place you'd spend all day in but seemed perfect for a quick stop as the name suggests. I ordered the House Crepe with a 'mocha' which was simply a chocolate flavored cup of coffee, for starters. The coffee was a bit cold but tasted great and when I asked that they warm it, the owner was quick to help. The mushrooms and house sauce on the crepe were amazing, an easy 10/10 and I'd definitely recommend! I decided to also get the Strawberry and Banana crepe minus the Nutella which had a good portion of fresh fruit but was less flavorful. Oh and the prices are really fair! There's also enough parking on the street which is both convenient and easily accessible. I had an issue with the displayed menu. It didn't have all items listed such as the omelettes and that limited my selection because you have to ask to find out if there's any other options. The menu also lacked descriptions so you have to ask about the ingredients in whatever you're interested in which was a bummer for a cafe that offers healthy options as well. The lady at the counter also wasn't as welcoming so I couldn't really get more information. read more

This was a cute little local spot. I'm not sure about the recent bad reviews, my son & I each had a burger and both were really good! The cashier / server was polite. There is outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. I even liked the music! My only compliant was that the price of coffee / hot chocolate was high for a small cup that tasted meh. Oh, and we got a slice of dessert to go and it was so good! All desserts are made on site! read more

We ordered from here this morning at like 7am, I believe they open at around 6am for the early birds out there. We work nights and remain on a nocturnal schedule on off days. We had actually already eaten dinner today but we were both craving something bready and cheesy and fortunately, Stop Cafe delivers. Now, we had already eaten so we weren't looking for an entire feast, just a little somethin'-somethin'. Pizza fit the bill for bready and cheesy. They have many pizzas from which to choose but you can also "build your own". I chose a small cheese (normally I would get a large). You can even select a CRUST and I went with the oregano and sesame seed. As would be expected, there are numerous toppings offered including cheese, I wanted to keep things light and asked for only garlic with the standard mozzarella. Finally, you must select something for sauce and being the saucy bitch that I am, I opted for "extra". Perusing through the menu to ensure I wasn't missing anything ground-breaking, I noticed they have a menu section called "traditional". "Stop Cafe" doesn't give away the origin of the dishes or the owners so that remained a mystery for the time-being. I saw "flia" which stated that it included tomatoes and feta. I decided to add an order of that for kicks and giggles. They also have borek, both spinach and a meat version and thankfully I am very familiar with the deliciousness that heaven. I threw an order of that on. I was interested in something sweet but couldn't commit to an entire tres leches cake or other heavy dessert. "Stop cake" was listed and was only 0.99. I ordered that literally solely for the purpose of finding out what on earth stop cake is. Other reviews here make it seem like this place is Albanian, which fits. It's actually a little bit savage because I had a trip to Albania planned in April which obviously had to be cancelled due to covid but enough about me. Flia, according to google, is an Albanian dish that consists of multiple crepe-like layers brushed with cream. Needless to say, it's delicious and was a great order. Give this a try if you're adventurous. The borek was amazing. It's thin and crisp layers intertwined with spinach and feta. You can't ever go wrong with borek. The borek from this particular place is HUGE. The pizza was cold when it arrived, which was disappointing, but pepped up nicely after about 10 min the oven. The sesame crust was delicious and a nice spin on the standard pizza crust. The sauce was DELICIOUS. There were 2 kinds of cheese on there, one of them was a bit reminiscent of the weird cheese on some frozen pizza, do you now what I mean? I have no idea if it's real cheese or not but it's not real mozzarella. There were also globs of cheese that were mozzarella and delicious. Overall, this pizza was quite good and I would definitely order from here again when the pizza craving hits. Finally, what you're all waiting for, the stop cake. Ok so stop cake is the size of a munchkin and is literally a munchkin covered in shaved coconut with some crispy-like things inside. It's good! You definitely need to order more than one tho... This is a really cute little place with some good and unusual food read more

what a great place to stop by for some pizza to satisfy your cravings!!! i haven't tried any of their other things yet like their sandwiches or breakfast stuff but i definitely want to (which is why i had such a hard time deciding). I got their margherita pizza which was absolutely delicious, it came out pretty fast while we were waiting there. The cheese was perfectly melted to the point where you get the satisfying cheese pulls (if you know i mean), the sauce was so good, the thin-ness of the slice and the size was perfect for one person! It wasn't too much where you couldn't finish it, it was the perfect amount enough to keep you in a good type of full. Loved the pizza here!! read more

Not good. Would not recommend. Food was OK. Drinks tasted off. Service was dreadful. Confusion the entire visit. Our order was wrong and we had to get our own plates silverware and napkins. When I went up to counter to ask about missing items, I was told "well I didn't bring your food out so I didn't know". Ok but you took our order. Still not sure if this is counter service or server / full service. Had to ask for to go containers and worse yet - My CC wasn't returned to me after paying bill and we had to wait much to long for check. Had to keep asking and it wasn't busy. Called place as soon as we discovered card wasn't returned and they wouldn't help or return it. Was lied to and they argued and didn't care. Poor customer service. read more

Small cafe, good coffee. I had the coconut macchiato and the owner (?) offered to color it for me. With my boyfriend's latte, he made us coffee art of hearts and a cat. It's such a cute touch and after a horrible weekend, it was the best part of my day. I highly recommend my drink because it was strong, flavorful, not too bitter yet not too sweet. I also had the Greek salad. A bit pricey but it was really refreshing. The man was really kind and if I lived in Worcester/Boston, I'd come back here again. read more

Don't go here if you have allergies. I'm SUPER allergic to olives. I told them this.. Instead of making me a fresh salad, they gave me one that looked completely torn apart, like they had just taken a few out and made a mess in the process. IT EVEN STILL HAD OLIVES!!! Thank God I saw one before eating it or I would've been in serious trouble and they would've been sued. Take this review as a lesson to be learned Stop Cafe... Had to throw out the whole meal. If something touches a food people are allergic to, IT IS STILL CONTAMINATED! So disappointed because I loved their coffee and smoothies... the two stars are for the good drinks but I'm not sure I'll trust them again. read more

I came across this place on Instagram and after seeing the pictures I had been dying to try it. I came on a Saturday morning with my sister and nieces, I got a bagel and hot latte, both sooo good! I had a sip of her regular brewed coffee and that was good too! It's adorable inside! Great place to come with a friend or bring your computer and get some work done! My first visit was such a bad experience. What should have been a really simple breakfast order of a bagel with scrambled eggs, turned into a bagel with cream cheese, and when I returned it asking for a bagel with eggs & cheese, the server assumed I wanted a bagel with CREAM cheese & eggs. I should have walked out when the server asked me "How do uou want your eggs cooked?" WHO, in their right mind orders a bagel with CREAM cheese & eggs?? She told me, "we get orders like this all the time".... they lost me as a customer for sure. read more

A solid cafe. Small yet accommodating. There isn't a ton of seating room but the design did well to maximize occupancy whilst maintaining a solid feng shui. The menu doesn't have a whole lot to offer but the nitro cold brew was good and served in a cute glass. Mango smoothie was delicious as well. Not sure of the intended vibe but usually when I go to a cafe the music is more study oriented or maybe even a little post indie and vintage/classical but the music was party pop. That's fine. There are cute little books like a book of dad jokes laying on a mantle piece. The man was friendly enough so the service is good. I think Stop will grow into itself with just a little bit of time. Check it out! read more

I love it here! The Worcester area is becoming a sea of local coffee shops, and it's awesome to get away from the chains and sit down and relax. STOP Cafe is my favorite of them. It's located it a little bit of a rough part of Park Ave. On the outside, it's fairly ordinary. But step inside and it's cute and hipster in one. It's modern, yet relaxing. The brothers who own it are great. The coffee is always good, whether the regular coffee, an iced latte, or a tiramisu frozen treat. The price is right and the atmosphere is better. My husband is a student, and student discounts apply. Definitely recommend you try out the best coffee shop in Worcester yet. read more

2.5 rounding up to 3. Ordered delivery first time here during Covid. Trying to find a preferred place for pizza in Worcester. This is not it. I'm of the opinion that a place should have fewer items on the menu that they make well, then more items that are sub par. The margarita pizza had a base layer of school lunch quality cheese, which would not have completely ruined the thing, but it was also under cooked, and that's about the worst thing a pizza can be. Greek salad had cocktail olives in it that tasted like they'd been sitting open in a fridge for a long time (not briney, tasted like fridge air). Tomatoes were kind of chalky / mealy, all in all disappointing and got thrown away. Boneless wings are eh. Definitely not anything to come back for when I can get them at the supermarket. read more

Ordered from this place twice hoping that a different pizza would be better. First order was the Big Mac pizza and there was little to no hamburger on the pizza. Then the second attempt was Buffalo chicken and the chicken had no flavor at all. Not really impressed at all. Chicken tenders were ok. I would compare it to pub food, but of lower quality. I noticed a lot of good reviews, but I would disagree on the quality of the food. Maybe I'll try something else next time. But overall I don't think the place lives up to the reviews. read more

I just read some of the one star reviews and I assume they were written by uncultured swine. This pizza is incredible. The crust is relatively well done without any modification requests. It's crispy and flavorful, dotted with sesame seeds and oregano. The pepperoni is flavorful and the cheese is plentiful and gooey. It's just a damn good pizza. Stop and think twice before going to this cafe. The customer service was so bad. We came across this place on our morning walk with our golden retriever puppy, and we already had coffee from Dunkin in our hands but we decided to stop for a quick bite as the outdoor patio looked cute. I went inside to place a breakfast order and I got a veggie omelet. The server was abrasive and told me that next time I can't sit outside with a dog. We later came outside with empty cups and told us to put our coffee in the cups as he didn't want people to see that we had coffee from Dunkin. The whole experience was so uncomfortable. I asked to get the food to go at that point and left with my mediocre omelette never to return back. read more
