We go if we need some steaks only because other stores are shaving their steaks down to slivers. But it'll cost ya. The produce is really bad, usually old and rubbery. Go to Market Basket for better produce. Usually if we are making a steak dinner we buy all the ingredients at Market Basket and then come here to buy the steak. Everything here is about 10 to 20 percent higher cost. And it's obvious, the place is usually empty, you'll never see a lot of customers in this store.

Instead of applying the $10 produce coupon to the non-sale items--which would have given me the proper discount--the register system completely wiped out the weekly sale prices on my watermelon and avocado, marked them back up to their full original prices, and applied the coupon to those instead. As a result, using the $10 coupon actually made my total bill HIGHER than if I hadn't used the coupon at all! This is either a very misleading checkout system or a huge glitch in the store's POS software that takes advantage of customers who aren't closely checking their itemized receipts. Since Amazon took over, there has been a decline. Favorite products have disappeared and produce quality can often be hit or miss. Strawberries specifically can either be great or a disaster. The meat department is excellent. The prepared food dept is excellent. In fact I only have two complaints. First, the Amazon "pickers" who rush around the store putting orders together. These black-vested carriage bashers don't pay attention as they stare at their phones, push their way through crowded aisles, and don't give rats behind about regular customers. They are rude and disrespectful. I have yet to find a competent, courteous, aware black-vest "pickers" yet. It's a detriment to the experience. I wish the store would train these people to chill out and remember that people are spending $200-300 a week there not to be fighting over broccoli with a 50-year old roboshopper. My second complaint is pricing. It's frustrating to see a price of an item jump from reasonable to "too expensive so I won't buy it." Caulipower Chicken nuggets went from $8.99 to $12.99 in just two years. Steak strips went from $14.99 to $17.99 to now $21.99 in the same time span. Chocolate candy that was always under $10 is now $14 in just a year. I understand that pricing has increased in all grocery stores, but the hikes and jumps at WF is painfully excessive. Why do I keep going back? Because it's still the best store in our area. Always clean and easy to navigate. They usually have everything we're looking for and a smart shopper can ship the yellow tags and save a good amount on routine items. But the BEST thing about this store is the people. I could list half the employees that work there and have been there for years. They make the experience exceptional and deserve five stars, just in their own. Friendly, helpful, thoughtful, real, kind people who we trust. I haven't found that at Stop & Shop or Trader Joe's... at least not consistently. Their catering and holiday meals are fantastic and their teams are always super helpful in putting together the right combinations. We have ordered catering for work and home and our Thanksgiving meals are always great. They work hard on getting these right. TL;DR - shopping at WF in Bellingham MA is usually a pleasant experience though expensive. The Amazon "pickers" are often rude, pushy, and discourteous. The regular staff are wonderful and great at their jobs, always going the extra mile. Prices are tough to swallow sometimes and they often abandon favorite products to cater to shelf real estate. Too often, they are 30+ minutes from being ready, and even when the timer goes off, it takes them 10-15 minutes to package them for sale. We leave knowing we need to fix something else tor dinner. - People surround the area in in an unorganized queue spending 10 minutes jockeying for position. Rude people usually make it to the front. - The people processing chickens also man the deli counter, so they are often too busy to work with the broiled chickens. GET THEM HELP!! 2. Gas may not be as cheap as you think. Their advertised prices (maybe at all BJ's??) include the 5 per cent discount by using the BJ's credit card. I get a better deal elsewhere using my Costco Visa card, getting 4% back on gas (5% at Costco.) At $4.50 a gallon, that's 18 cents a gallon I save with the Costco card, making local stations near I-495 MUCH more affordable. The same $4.50 price at Speedway or Gulf is $4.32 with my Costco card. Also, all my other Visa and Discover cards often have 5% quarterly rewards for "gas stations" which usually includes items bought at their attached convenience stores, such as Cumberland Farms, Speedway, Seasons/Nouria, Sheetz, and the awesome Wawa in NJ/PA. 3. Produce, especially bananas & berries, is not as fresh and spoils quicker than produce from major supermarkets. It seems to take a while for buyers from other companies to pass on the merchandise before it winds up at stores like BJ's and Costco. 4. Better deals can be found at supermarkets if you shop for what's on sale, without having to buy in bulk.

The franklin stop and shop is a horrible environment for customers and children!! I am appalled with this store not once but twice have I had an absolute uncalled for experience wit the employees. first time I had been shopping and a mother had a child crying ,not a big deal that's what kids do time to time. Well an employee took it appon themselves to turn to me and say kids drama drama drama. I was pissed how dare this employee think its ok to judge this women and her kid!! I can not even believe the nerve of this horrid person. Second even was an unbelievable disgusting event . So I had come in to grab some quick dinner for my kids and I had brought in my seven year old so I had I big surprise for my son that day to announce he would be getting another sibling . Well I go to the self checkout and an item I got that was supposed to be buy one get one free was not ringing up as so. No big deal so I called an employee to help well they called a manager who was this nasty meat department manager alex. Well I said it was supposed to be buy one get one and it came up wrong, he seemed pissed at me for inconveniencing him and said that they stocked ithe wrong product under the tag .So instead of fixing the issue he got pissed off yelling at me infront of my seven year old who was just standing there holding candy starting to cry. Then I said to this manager that its not my fault they stalked it wrong that how could I have known that happen. I sai I was not stupid that I was just going for the deal. He then assumed I called him retarded !! He yelled at me saying that he was not fucking retarded and kept saying fuck you lady right infront of my son. I could not even believe this.Then to my horror the manager stomped off in a tantrum and the store manager came down and just said he was not there so he didn't know who was at fault???!!! I called corporate and the store owner neither did a thing. So a few weeks later I decided to give the store one more try since its close to my house well THE MANAGER WHO CUSSED AT ME AND INFRONT OF MY KID IS STILL EMPLOYED THERE!!!!! I'm sure I came at a slow time but a girl can dream. I grabbed a handful of bags and of course a Chantilly vanilla bean cake. My daughter was attending a concert at the Gillette stadium so I needed a treat to keep me company. Like every location I have been to, the gal that checked me out was really sweet. We chatted a bit about my bag collection. She told me about the plastic forks up up front for my cake. It was the sweetest and easiest transaction. This store was amazing! It's three times the size of ours and it was fun checking it out. My cake was great as always. You can never go wrong with the sheet cakes here. I got my bags all packed for my flight home. I'm happy I got to stop into the Foxborough location for my out of state Trader Joe's experience!

It's clean, it's small, it has the hometown feel- If you can afford to shop here - then great! I would love to shop here but unfortunately I can't really afford to. Will continue to come - here and there when I'm in a jam- but will not be doing my weekly shopping here due to rising costs!

Fresh flowers are the Best here! I mean they have a vast selection and varieties that you will go home with flowers of your own! The difference sections are truly unique! The meat department the fish department the bakery department the cheese department and so on and so forth! Walk up and down the aisle and look for great sale deals! The shelves are full and the amount of items will overwhelm you! Even the cashiers are so helpful and pleasant and from the many places I have shopped around this location is amazing and I see items I like to try! What can I say that I wished there were other Wegmans in Quincy or Braintree or South Shore! They will blow the competition out of the water! It's a really nice atmosphere and you will spend a long time here shopping!

Disappointed in Wegmans…read more... Placed a cake order for my son's 6th birthday. I called to confirm specifics on the cake design, and submitted two weeks in advance. 24 hours before pickup time, I received a confirmation email/reminder to pick up the cake. 12 hours before pickup, at 9PM, I received a call saying they could not make the cake design, and cited a copy right issue. Wegmans had no response to me asking why I was informed so late, and no response to me that I previously called to confirm they could do this cake. Honestly, leaving me to try to fix my 6 year olds birthday cake for his party with less than 10 hours before the party should be zero stars...

Market 32 is our closest grocery store, yet it is always one of our last choices. Our pecking order…read moreof supermarkets in our area is as follows: 1. Wegmans 2. Whole Foods 3. Market Basket 4. Stop & Shop 5. Market 32 6. Price Chopper/Hannaford We realize that quality and selection with some of these grocery stores can vary by location. For example, a Price Chopper can be much nicer in one town than in another (Price Chopper Webster, MA is a very nice PC). But in our area, we stand by these standings! We use Market 32 as a giant convenience store for on demand staples like hamburger patties and rolls, milk and eggs. That said, some of these items are much more expensive than Market Basket. And when it comes to produce, we're always disappointed with Market 32 quality, and often the price too. Bok choy is a good example. Market 32 Bok choy is often $2 more a pound than at Market Basket, and limp, like it's been on a Price Chopper truck for a few days too long. And the cod we tried, was very fishy and compares poorly with cod loins from Wegman's. Market 32 prepared pizza was very disappointing, though I tried sushi here once (I was starving), and to my chagrin, it was pretty good. On the plus side, this Market 32 is quite new, quite clean, and usually quite quiet. But other than on-demand necessitates, we have much better choices if we're willing to drive an extra 10 - 15 minutes.
