Can here while driving around with a friend, looks nice outside and very beautiful. Bf was yummy and was very big as a Texan. Services was faster than I thought and great experience. Will definitely come back for more variety of their menu Check it it and thanks to everyone who has served us.

We had an hour to spend as the park we were visiting did not open until noon. We found this online and we're happy to see that it was five minutes away. This was a real find for us but well known to the locals, so we had to wait a bit for a table. Well worth it, as the food was delicious and more than generous. We could not even fit all of the leftovers into two containers. A very happy experience.

Came here for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. I ordered the banana and peanut butter French toast with a side of fries and it was very delicious. Everything my group ordered was very delicious and fresh, not to mention our very quickly. Service was good but could have circled back a few more times for refills, but not to worry. Prices are fair and the place is quite spacious. Will absolutely come back.

First time here, based on the reviews even though there is a diner much closer to my house. I was alone and seated right away and given a menu. They have an early bird special from 3-6pm, which I loved. However, I came for a cheeseburger deluxe and my order was taken pretty quickly. The diner was not very busy in a Thursday night at 5:45. The decor was that of a typical diner. Counter, tables etc. Having already ordered, they came back to ask me if I wanted pickles and coleslaw. I said yes, as I'm famished and I love both but let's see if it's in the bill as I don't remember if it's part of the deluxe. The coleslaw was pretty good, not too far off from my own which is definitely better. However for a diner I was pleasantly surprised by the coleslaw. The cheeseburger looked delicious and tasted great. It had two onion rings which I loved! I eat as much as I could and tasted everything. I definitely got my cheeseburger need met. I would certainly return for the food. The only thing I don't like, that may cause me not to return is that they charge a 4% fee if using a credit card. Too bad as that is just another way for businesses to increase their bottom line some not many people carry cash. It use to be a cost of doing business and allowed more people to patronize them. But they aren't the only ones.

This is extremely small french toast. They are ripping people off don't come here it's really not that good anyway

Omlette and home style fries with orange juice

Came in by myself on a rainy day just wanting some breakfast food didn't have many expectations. I was seated right away, given a glass of water, & offered coffee tea juice while I looked over the menu. The gentleman at the bar was very nice and took my order fairly quickly it took about 10-15 mins for the food to come out and it was GREAT. I got a 3 egg omelette with bell peppers, onions and cheddar cheese. The omelette came with home style fries/potatoes and toast (not pictured). I usually don't eat my toast but they buttered the toast for me so it was melted and on both sides of the bread ?! I couldn't resist after that. I also got a large orange juice all for about $20. I wish the onions in the omelette were grilled but I forgot to ask before ordering so that's on me the food still hit. The eggs were cooked thoroughly and the cheese was melted to perfectionnnn The overall vibe in the diner was very nice there was a good amount of people there but I still had someone checking in or making sure I had everything I needed and big shout out to the gentleman at the bar he was very sweet! I can tell the staff is always this friendly because they had quite a few regulars coming in and saying hello/happy holidays etc which was very cute lets you know a lot about a place !! Will be back very soon!

This Diner is the best from the food to the staff. The food is absolutely delicious from morning, afternoon, and night time. I frequent this place quite often. Soon as I or my significant other open the doors the pounds start to pile on. The food is excellent and fresh they will give you just enough to fill that hunger spot. read more

This is our local diner, have had many meals from breakfast to dinner here and although their menu is humongous the food and service are excellent. Breakfast is great lunch especially the bison burger is excellent. The servers are great especially after hours! read more

I am a regular Yelp user but this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. Went with my husband and son the day after Christmas. I ordered spinach pie platter. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever gotten in a restaurant. Three inches of spinach that had gone bad covered in a thin filo. It smelled and tasted like a swamp. I asked the waiter to take it back. He suggested a grilled cheese and tomato to be safe. That wasn't even appetizing, the tomatoes were mushy. The fries taste processed and salty. My husband's grilled chicken sandwich had rubbery spots that he spit into his napkin. My son's panini was filled with dry looking pastrami which he barely ate. The one star I did give was for the sweet potatoe fries my son ordered and for the waiter who was trying to be helpful. Although I told him to have the cook smell the food I returned, I got no apology from the kitchen and did not get credited the difference in the price of the meal. I can't understand how this place got 4 stars! read more

Eat breakfast here while visiting the In-laws. Link sausage very flavorful. Said something to the owner and he replied, "Boar's Head, top drawer ".Being from the South, I like grits and they have them here. Everybody who works here hustles. Extremely friendly staff also. read more

It's just diner food. Nothing special. The first thing I think of when someone asks if I want to go to Stop 20 is "canned vegetables". I feel like every entree I've ever ordered from there was paired with watery, brine-y veggies from a can. A lot of people seem to think their breakfast is good, but I've never had a properly cooked poached egg or bacon done how I order it, which is my barometer for a decent breakfast. +1 star because the coleslaw is pretty good, so I can disregard the rest of my lunch and fill up on those little cups. Service is fast. If you're indifferent as to what you eat as long as you eat it quickly, by all means, shovel it in. Quantity over quality, am I right? read more

Giving this place one star is me being really generous. First off, the waiter couldn't seem to understand our order. Next, we waited a half hour for 2 sprites which he seemed to have forgotten. Lastly, when our food finally arrived, the "chicken" in the chicken ceaser wraps tasted like straight up fish. Not sure if they were cooking fish on the same grill then cross-contaminated our chicken...or if it was even "chicken". This is my first bad experience here and it's enough to push me away. Horrible. read more

Came here for a late night bite! Everything I ordered was on point. Please order the old fashioned French toast! It is truly, delightful. It was buttery, crispy, and flaky. Unlike any other I've had; the best yet actually. Also had some scrambled eggs (can't really mess those up) and home fries. The home fries could use a little more onions and peppers. Lastly, I had an awesome cappuccino. It was served with pride and it tasted great. The cookies on the side were a nice plus too. My friends has two Long Island ice teas (he had a rough week) and they were also made nicely. Service was polite, friendly and attentive. Thank you Stop 20 Diner for a pleasant experience! I just recently moved to the area and have been searching for a new "go-to" diner for my weekend mornings where I'm feeling lazy and indulgent. This place is it. The service is very personable and the menu is beyond extensive. You name it, they've got it. It's very affordable, too. The food is flavorful and well-seasoned- not bland by any means. The diner itself has a good, homey feel. Definitely worth a visit and I am no longer in search for my close-to-home diner! The parking situation is probably the only thing I have complaints about, but what can you do in this area? read more

Pretty decent diner, went here 2 days ago and the service was great, I got my meal fast, and it tasted good. It was all going we'll until my date had some white substance on the bottom of her cup. Idk what it was it looked as though the cup wasn't cleaned, word to the wise just check all your utensils before using them. read more

I always come to this diner but today really pissed me off. I was leaving after eating my food and here comes one of the waiters running outside to the door. He screams at these 2 customers getting in their car. My first reaction was that they tried to run out on the check. As I am putting my daughter in the car, the waiter says to them, " Was the service no good. You didn't leave a tip. The next time you're supposed to leave a tip." I could not believe my ears and eyes!!!! I was so upset I called inside immediately and spoke to the manager. I went inside to point him out. The waiter admitted doing so and apologized but the manager didnt seemed bothered enough to me and the waiter definitely was not sorry. A shame. Makes me think twice to go back there. read more

Great diner which we found randomly after flying into JFK and waiting out morning rush hour before heading back home to NJ. Coffee refills for breakfast were done quite frequently and had about 4 cups. The egg omelet had real eggs and the combination of Spinach, Tomatoes, and Feta Cheese was quite excellent. Had this with dark toasted bread and home fries. Initially the bread came with butter (even though I requested it without), however this was easily corrected w/o issues. Dont eat butter however it looked like the real stuff and quite fresh (ie, white and creamy, unlike the yellow and oily synthetic chemical butter). My GF eggs over easy came out just as she wanted. Best breakfast we had in a month for about 13$... it was so good we just left them a 20$ on the table. read more

Food is quite decent and seasoned well. The menu has many chiuces (too many), and is filled with advertising, but you won't go wrong by ordering anything. Breakfast is probably the best, followed by lunch. Food is always fresh, and service is good. read more

Their coffee was first class; I had a refill. Our waitress was awesome. Super friendly and helpful. I believe the owners were on premises. They engaged with customers and the staff (always a good sign). If I'm right, one even manned the grill. We Ubered here from the TWA Hotel, which isn't even 15 minutes away. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The avocado toast and burger that my friends ordered all looked fantastic too. Great service, delicious food and tea, and very good prices- next visit will be for the live music!

I ordered the fish and chips, which were pretty good. I took the leftovers home. The price for the dining experience was very reasonable. The most recent time we went was around lunch time and it was buzzing. We were lucky that we got seated but service definitely suffered this time around. For this dining experience we ordered the pancakes from the adult menu. My husband ordered the Shepherd's Pie and I had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. We took the leftover pancakes home as we devoured the Shepherd's Pie and Eggs Benedict. I'd definitely go back one day to experience dining with a live band.

Just had my WORST DINER EXPERIENCE thanks to Stop 20 Diner. If I could, I would rate it ZERO STARS due to COLD FOOD & BAD SERVICE. My fiancee and I were looking for new diners that served eggs benedict in our local area. Reviews looked good, so we decided to stop in. We both ordered the Lox Benedict with a side of Sweet Potato & Regular Fries and Shirley Temples. Shirley Temples had a WEIRD aftertaste. The Lox Benedict arrived COLD. The eggs looked WEIRD. We ate the first serving/muffin to taste it, thinking we were mistaken about the temperature, but no, everything besides our side of fries was cold. By the time we got to the second serving/muffin, it was ICE COLD and INEDIBLE. In addition, service was LACKLUSTER. Our waiter was inattentive (had to have other wait staff call him to service our table). He was also a LIAR -- we asked if we could put tip on our credit card and he said no, only for me to be told at the register that I COULD put tip on the card. He obviously wanted the cash upfront and SHOULD NOT HAVE LIED to get it!! The person I paid the bill with also did not seem friendly -- he did not speak to me besides to ask if i wanted tip on the card and to say 'You're Welcome' after I said 'Thank You' upon paying the bill. My only other BIGGEST REGRET besides choosing to eat here tonight was not telling management upfront about my experience. At that point, we already decided we would NEVER FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN and it was NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I am SO DISAPPOINTED with my experience and felt compelled to share it, so others can be forewarned about the serving of COLD FOOD and BAD SERVICE here. read more

came here on a weekday because I had a craving for a fancy omelette that I didnt have the ingredients to make at home. ordered a 3 egg white omelette with bacon cheese and sausage with coffee. The server never brought me coffee. I had to ask the person who was operating the register to tell my server that I had ordered coffee and where was it at? the bill came to 18 dollars and the omelette was small and hardly filled with any of the fillings I asked for.. the server told me it was small because it was "cooked on a grill as opposed to a pan". LOL. If you want to make a nice big omelette for your customer it doesnt matter which way you cook it... Just make it The Right Way... Ive had plenty of 3 egg white omelettes that were huge and satisfying no matter pan or grill.... this place wasnt one of them! When I had paid my check, my server asked how my omelette was I told him it was "OK" but very small and that ive had similar omelettes at other places that were bigger and less expensive... he told me to come on the weekend instead because the omelette portions are bigger on the weekends than the weekdays... Shouldnt the portions be consistent everyday across the board? Wouldnt come back here... will search for a better option!!! I am infatuated with this diner! I am obsessed with their panini selection. My personal two favorites are the #1 and #16. The #1 is grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes & pesto sauce. My other favorite #16 is grilled chicken, crumbled bleu cheese, avocado, bacon & pesto sauce. I was so stuffed from the filling meal that I took some home. My parents went CRAZY for it! I don't live near the neighborhood but I had to run back and get another order. This diner is worth the trip if you don't live in the area. The staff is always smiling and always gets the order right! Atmosphere is warm and clean. My friend used to work in this diner. I would recoment skipping this for a dinner spot. The owners son Guss, likes to smack his women employees around...not brutally but smacking their hands and what not.. Also he likes to sleep with the waitress' and then make their lives miserable when he decides hes done with them.. They have mice that as many times as an exterminator comes never goes away due to their lack of compliance with the Health Department... I would steer clear of this place read more

Then even take reservations on holidays. What diner do you know takes reservations! So that just tells you how good it is! read more

In regards to Franco's comment about the "SMALL-ish" parking, i think you are "small-ish". the parking is very accomidating and the service is excellent. The staff is polite and very attentive to your every need. The food is great and there is nothing SMALLISH about stop 20 dinner. read more
