Very nice place in the new Hyde Park Service is quick and friendly. The food arrives warm to hot fresh from the kitchen. Oh, by the way, they have music and they have TVs playing on sports channels. I had an omelet with toast and French toast it was delicious. If you're in the area and you have the munchies for breakfast lunch at dinner stop by you won't be disappointed. Oh, by the way, they have music and they have TVs playing on sports channels. Happy Eats!

Very cute diner with retro vibe. The server was friendly and sweet. I got the patty melt deluxe and it was delicious.

Hi Ken stuffed with broccoli and mozzarella cheese

We went here for Easter lunch like we have have done for years. We arrived at 12:30 PM. After deciding what we wanted we ordered from the special menu. Now our soup and salad is served and told that they have no more leg of lamb, Really now. They supposedly ran out Saturday. Poor planning on their part. I ordered the chicken stuffed with bro and mozzarella cheese. It came out with some sauce of butter on it. I asked what it was and told a scampi sauce. I said scampi sauce is made with white wine and I cannot have it because of medical reasons. I was than told only butter and garlic. I have to feed my mother and waitress that kept calling momma seemed to keep rushing me. I was eating my salad and here she is asking am I done with this (my bread dish) which she put a good part of her hand on. I have not even touched the bread yet at this point. After I finished my salad I placed that bread dish on top of it. Now I only ate less than a 1/4 of my food and am still feeding my mom and here she is asking if I want my food wrapped. Now I am pissed so I asked are you in a hurry, I am still eating. I only ate a bit more as I was so stressed from all of this. I also cannot believe that with the special that they charged my mom for the Snapple iced tea.

Cheeseburger Deluxe

My Wife and I decided to go to one of our local Diners in the area. We have not been here for many years. Upon entering we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter came by asked our orders. We each ordered a Cheeseburger Deluxe and a soda. Our food came out in a reasonably amount of time. Food was hot, burger cooked to my liking, fries and onion rings also very good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. There seemed to have been many regulars. They have been here many years so you know they are doing something right.

The Harrison is the quintessential Gastropub- perfect for meeting friends who want a top-tier place…read morewithin walking distance of the LIRR. Housed in a landmark Floral Park building, this gem has a warm ambiance with low lighting, leather booths, and quiet background coffee-sleepy-jazz in the background (Though, as a fan, I wish they hadn't messed with the Sly and the Family Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay" :D). There is an inviting large bar, an open kitchen, and a large private room in the back. The menu is American classics made with premium ingredients. Although his place is known for their single malt whiskey, craft beer and signature cocktails, only one at our table had a cocktail: EZ Money made with gin, prosecco, lemon, cucumber and St- Germain Elderflower Liqueur. I will look at their wine list next visit. As for the food, the garlic bread and calamari did not disappoint. Our table ordered a variety of dishes. A unique rotisserie chicken salad sandwich, a salmon bowl, and an order of mussels. Each dish was a win. I chose a great mesclun green salad and had to try the double smash burger, a mouth-watering proprietary blend of prime chuck, brisket and short rib which I'd have to talk myself out of not re ordering with my next visit. From family gatherings and office parties to intimate date nights, The Harrison offers an ambiance and menu designed to satisfy both the casual diner and the most discerning palate.

It could have been shaved and rolled until soft. Otherwise, Max is the friendliest of bartenders and remembered our name. Our steak was rare and juicy, our Branzino cooked to perfection. This is fast becoming our go to place.

After visiting for brunch today, I'm excited to be able to update my review with a full five stars…read more- Swing the Teapot is officially one of my local favorites! I had the tea experience with Black Velvet and it was just what I needed. I'll admit that the licorice and peppermint were very faint, but it was still a tasty tea and sharing a large pot with my partner, we finished the whole thing. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The avocado toast and burger that my friends ordered all looked fantastic too. Great service, delicious food and tea, and very good prices- next visit will be for the live music!

The bartender, Rich, on 05/16/26 was being a nasty, rude, and not to mention, snarky toward me…read morewhen he said to me that I have to pay for the seltzer. He said it in a nasty and sarcastic tone the way my father would talk down at me, sometimes. Regardless, if paying for the seltzer was required, I would happily pay; but the fact that this guy was disrespectful about it was unwarranted. He reminds me of my dysfunctional parents when they get in their freaking moods. He also told me that there was a two-drink policy when there's a live band and also told me that if more people are coming to the bar, he would have me move. Basically, he was being unwelcoming and wanted to tell me (but couldn't since he was on the job) "fuck you asshole, you're not welcome at the bar". He didn't actually say that but those were the vibes I got from him. That kind of rude impression from him was just unwarranted. Now, I don't know what made me tip him $6. Maybe I wanted to be the better person in that situation since he was being a total asshole..and maybe I don't want him breathing down my neck about the service. He's a real jerkoff. Next time he does that with me again, I'm not going to be nice about it. He was lucky I kept my cool and chose to remain respectful instead of sink to his dysfunctional level that would remind me of my dysfunctional parents (not to mention, my entire dysfunctional family). So this one really stuck with me in the worst way possible because of bad experiences with my family (which would make more sense). That guy needs to be very careful with how he treats people. He will come across somebody who will be a lot nastier and impatient than him and he will get absolute karma for his rude behavior. He has a job. Therefore, he needs to show some professionalism (I don't mind informalities from employees, as long as they're being friendly people). The waiter I had, Marian H, was more professional and pleasant with me than Rich, the bartender, on May 16th, 2026.

This restaurant has a very humble exterior which may be easy to pass by. But you would be wrong to…read moredo so. I am a decades-long foodie, always on the hunt for a good meal. Crabtree 's did not disappoint. From the welcoming greeting, by professional restaurant staff, and not bored teenagers, to the impeccable service and food, our experience here was a pure delight. The calamari and ceaser salad appetizers were bursting with flavor and tasted so fresh. I ordered the special, a whole roasted dorado fish. It was divine. My partner had the lobster and shrimp pasta dish and was just as happy. I am a very finicky restaurant diner. I could not recommend this place more. I wish I had taken better pictures to do justice to the food, but it was so delicious looking we just dove right in!

While waiting at the bar for a friend to arrive, I was swarmed by fruit flies, which should have been my first warning sign. The pours at the bar were skimpy, but I tried to shake it off once we got our table. The service there was actually friendly, and our server proudly told us the duck was a top seller, so we ordered it along with a salad and a fish dish. Most of what came out of the kitchen was diner quality at best--nothing special, but not offensive. The duck, however, was a disaster. It tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for months before being rushed through a fryer. The meat was fried to a dry, brittle crisp, and the only flavor came from a cloying sweet duck sauce slapped on top. No richness, no tenderness, no redeeming qualities. We absolutely hated our meal and the entire time we spent there. I can't recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about what they eat.
