Found reviews and a tiktok video of Susan's Kitchen. They called this place a hidden gem…read more This place IS A HIDDEN GEM. Not only the food is delicious, everyone here was super friendly! I ordered Turkey melt, TUNA MELT (!!!), Chicken Caesar wrap, Roast Beef wrap, grilled cheese, and Scrambled eggs for a small bday party. Everyone loved the food and many asked me where I ordered from. Especially the Tuna melt. Which I ordered because Susan recommended it herself! They also have amazing cookies! Susan's Kitchen is located in an office building, made it a little hard to find, in my opinion. My husband and I were confused whether or not we were allowed to park in the parking lot of the building. 5 star for the food and amazing service. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back.

The other great reviews are legit. I was skeptical until I ate here myself this morning…read more Very good food (above average diner / deli fare), nice service in this instance by one guy who was doing everything from restocking shelves to running the cash register, and surprisingly reasonable prices. I had a cheese omelette and home fries. The eggs were fluffy and fresh and you could tell the potatoes were done by a real cook who cares. The self-serve coffee was the usual grade of diner coffee but certainly was not bad. I don't think refills were free as in a real diner, however. It's on the second floor of a large Citibank office building. Parking seems adequate, with spaces out front and in a parking lot on the side.

I went here for brunch with my girlfriends and we had such a great time!…read more The food was delicious - from the apps to entrees, and the service was great. Our server kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The calamari and shrimp ceviche were both delicious - the calamari was well battered and the ceviche was fresh. My entree, chicken baraki, was a large portion (had to take it home) and it was delicious. The drinks looked amazing but we didn't try any this time - definitely on our next visit! The spot is somewhat busy but not super noisy, which I liked. Parking is street parking and it does get busy in this area. Overall, a great spot with cool drinks and good food!

They gave us two glasses and a picture of mimosas. Everything was really good. As an appetizer we ordered the focaccia grilled cheese bites. The vodka sauce dip was so amazing. Honestly, that was hands-down, the best thing. For our main, I ordered the Mediterranean Benedict. They made the Benedict. Perfect, I love the prosciutto with it. It does come on top of a focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the sweet potato fry squares. I'm not crazy about sweet potatoes and I didn't read the menu to see to get something else. Also, the Greek churro was so good with the feta whip. This is definitely a really cute place. Everyone who works there is so kind and polite. It is definitely worth a stop in for brunch.

I think I found my new favorite breakfast spot. Decided to come here with my daughter for…read morebreakfast. I got the blueberry pancakes, eggs, turkey bacon and cold cream ice latte in the flavor mocha crumb. The food was phenomenal. The pancakes came with maple butter syrup and it was a hit with my daughter. The coffee is one of the best I had in a long time. It was the perfect mix of sweet and strong. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean. Definitely worth the visit.

The place is known for their pancakes and they have a huge variety! I was debating between the blueberry pancakes or the banana brulee pancakes. I went with the blueberry pancakes and it was delicious! Lots of blueberry inside the pancakes and blueberry compote on top. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful without being too sweet or overload. My boyfriend and I also shared a salmon eggs benedict on the seasonal menu. It was one of the best salmon eggs benedict I've ever had. The portion was perfect - two decent sized Benedicts with a small salad on the side. The best thing is that the Benedict is not on an English muffin, but a hash brown. The service was great as they came by several times to ask if we were ready to order before we actually ordered. They were also very attentive in refilling our water cups. The place is relatively small so I can see how it gets crowded. There is a restroom in the rear for customers. One final tip is that this place does not accept credit cards - only cash, Venmo or Zelle! Would definitely be back for the salmon eggs Benedict, to try other pancakes, and their drinks as well.

BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP - NOT. I just ordered butternut squash…read moresoup at the counter - to go - but I stayed and ate at a table. It was quiet - there was only 1 other customer ordering at the time. Only problem - it was VEGETABLE soup, NOT butternut squash soup. There was no trace of butternut squash, no creamy sweet taste of butternut squash. There was a broth that resembled a typical vegetable soup, a little spicy (pepper and other spices), filled with lots of veggies (mostly corn but some potatoes and others). It was just OK - not what I wanted or expected. I asked the young lady working there what the story was. She spoke to the chef in the back and came with "this is butternut squash soup". I was here a few weeks ago, ordered the butternut squash soup and yes, it tasted like the real thing and was actually good. So what is going on? I inquired again, at which time the young lady asked the chef to come to the front, and said to the chef "the customer said that I am lying". Let's be clear - I never called the young lady a liar. Ignorance is not lying. I inquired. When I asked the chef about the soup he did not answer. Unclear if there is a language barrier, but he did not nod or respond to the question. Finally, before I left I asked the young lady to satisfy my curiousity and provide a sample of the butternut squash soup. She refused, saying "no, it is the same soup". So what is the truth? You decide. I am not going back. In the past I have had smoothies and soup there and no issues. I only wanted the truth. And by the way, the vegetable soup that I had was mediocre - not recommended. Thank you for reading this review.

Visit Date: April 26, 2023…read more I came here with my two of my friends, one friend lives in the area. I had the avocado toast and added over easy eggs to it. It was pretty good. I don't get enough veggies in my diet so I guess once in awhile it's good to come to an organic place to eat. I can't resist avocados. I enjoyed the avocado toast. This isn't a bad place to come to if you want to eat healthy.
