Good place to grab a quick bite! They have a little bit of everything from juices and smoothies to sandwiches and salads. I don't ever see too many people eating in here, but it's easy to stop in and take something to go. The people working here are friendly and pretty quick. I always appreciate how incredibly clean it is!

Love their salad bar and interesting hot dishes at lunch time. Also, best iced coffee in town!

Taste of Paris - Iced Coffee and Creme Brûlée Latte

The term "Paris Syndrome" describes a psychological state of severe shock experienced by tourists…read more(in particular, first time visitors to Paris) who suffer immense disappointment from unmet expectations. Taste of Paris is not actually that bad. But it is pretty weird. The vibe is less Parisian cafe than hostile architecture. For one thing, there's a hole in the ceiling. It is not small. It's basically an entire missing ceiling tile. Like, there may be some kind of repair project or remodel going on? For another thing, it's rather dark for a coffee shop. It's dimly lit with very little natural light. And the walls seem green screen ready. Jarringly sparse but would make a great Teams background. All that said, the coffee is decent. I ordered off menu. A flat white, no sugar, no syrup. And it was solid. Which, in sum, leaves me at three stars. Two or below if you're drinking in, but maybe four if you're grabbing to go.

Small shop, big payoff -- quick, clean, and the drinks come out looking like they belong in a photoshoot (the can-style iced coffees are a vibe). Gov's take: the Crème Brûlée Latte is the star. Smooth, dessert-like without being sugary, and it keeps that espresso backbone. The iced coffee/cold brew is strong, cold, and actually tastes like coffee (not melted ice and regret). Menu is easy to scan and they've got a solid lineup of flavors, plus grab-and-go energy that's perfect when you're passing through Hillside. Only knock: it's tight inside and parking can be annoying depending on the time. Rating: 4.5/5 -- I'm coming back, and I'm bringing a friend who "doesn't like coffee."

I actually met the owner a few years back when they first opened, and they were just as friendly and welcoming then as the vibe still feels now. The shop was super clean, fresh, and calm with very Sabrina Carpenter energy -- cute, cozy, and aesthetic without trying too hard. There was only one employee working when I went, but everything still moved smoothly thanks to the self-service kiosks, which made ordering easy. I tried the egg sandwich along with a latte made with almond milk (just note there is a small surcharge for almond milk). Everything tasted fresh and was packaged really well, especially the sandwich being wrapped up nicely since I was taking it on the road. One little tip: if you order a layered drink or something with toppings, ask if you can shake it yourself before the employee does it. Mine looked so pretty before it got shaken up for me, and I would've loved a quick picture first! The employee was very sweet though and overall the service was great. Definitely a solid morning stop in New Hyde Park and I'll be back again.

The store space was small and most people took the food to go. there was one table with 2 chairs for anyone who wants to dine in and no full-size garbage can inside or outside of the store. There was a pencil holder on the counter where you order food that was being used as a garbage can which I found a bit odd. I got a passionfruit green tea, taro milk tea, and matcha bubble tea along with a scallion croffie that was delicious.

Really cute boba shop with thoughtful touches & games inside. My fiance and I stopped by after…read moredinner, and we ordered the mango pomelo slush and the lychee lemon green tea. I thought that the mango pomelo might have coconut milk or some other sort of dairy inside, so we opted to remove the cheese foam, but it became just a regular slush. The mango slush was a bit artificial tasting, which was a bit disappointing because we thought it would be a fresh fruit slush. It was okay though, but would recommend it with maybe 50% sugar. The lychee lemon green tea was really refreshing & tart, but I would say that even at 50% sugar this was a bit too sweet. Plenty of parking available, and ordering is easy via the kiosk.

Their big bragging point is that they make fresh tapioca boba every single hour. That's huge. You can absolutely feel and taste the freshness, and it makes such a huge difference. The kiosks were super easy to order through, and the staff was on hand to help if needed. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and helpful, and even offered me some samples of their cookies, which were fantastic. The branding is impeccable and the place is super clean and modern, which I absolutely love. There's plenty of space and it's really welcoming. Overall a really solid place and definitely going to be my go to for Boba!

This Tous Les Jours location is on Great Neck Road in Great Neck Plaza, conveniently located by the Great Neck LIRR. When you first enter the bakery, you can see the display of organized labelled pastries and bread. The lighting is warm and the bakery is welcoming. I grabbed a tray, tongs, and a piece of parchment paper to put on top of the tray while I browsed the array of choices. I chose a Portuguese Egg Tart, also known as Pastel De Nata. My husband and I shared a croquette, garlic sausage block, and he had the spicy sausage. The Pastel De Nata was so flaky and crisp. Once I took the first bite, you can hear the crunch and the filling of creamy egg custard was so good. The garlic sausage block was really good as well. It was the perfect ratio of dough and sausage. The spicy sausage had pieces of jalapeno and the sausage was very good. The croquette was thick, crispy, and had a really good filling. I also got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte, it was refreshing and creamy. Inside, there is plenty of seating options from tables to countertop seats. All the pastries were very yummy and not overly greasy. Everything that I've tried at Tous Les Jours have been really light and airy and you can't go wrong.
