BLT deluxe, sorry couldn't help but start eating first.
    Leigh L.

Ordered through Grubhub because I was craving a BLT and could get it delivered. While Grubhub delivered late, the food was definitely worth waiting for. This deli obviously takes pride in the food they send out the door. The BLT was stuffed full of crispy bacon with just the right anoint of mayo. The fries would have been perfect if the delivery hadn't been late. Also ordered the turkey club which was packed full of meat and bacon. Definitely value for money given both were only $6.99 each. Packaging was excellent too. Highly recommend giving this deli a try. Wish I could take them home to Florida with me.

The food is really good. Great sandwiches. The people aren't so nice inside though. Small deli shop which I thought would mean nicer owners and workers but they don't really pay attention to you when you walk in. Maybe they see alot of ppl and we're just another person but still if this place had friendlier vibes Id definitely make this my local go to. Food is great though. BLT had so much crunchy bacon pieces. Really nice touch with the mayo. Sausage egg cheese is a classic. Very cheesy if you like that. Overall would recommend for quick bites.

I decided to try the breakfast here and ordered.. 2 over medium eggs platter w/ bacon, turkey sausage, home fries, 2 slices of rye toast, a hard boiled egg and a medium black coffee. The food was flavorful and they gave plenty home fries. I do wish they had given a bit more bacon but overall I'm satisfied and it was a great meal. I will order breakfast from here in the future. - Also I called to ask about the protein choices, the guy on phone was friendly and helpful.

I wanted a burger at 9a and happened to be in the area. They were open, serving burgers and I got a California turkey burger and fries for less than $10. I went back a few days later and still delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. It's a little hole-in-the-wall-ish but busy for for reason. Also the staff is pleasant and helpful again -ish...

I ordered a basic Egg and Cheese on a Roll, with a side of hasbrown and beef empanadas. My uncle ordered a BLT with Avacado and Mayo on a toasted Everything bagel. The egg and cheese sandwich was well scrambled and portion was satisfying, I wish the hash brown was more crispy but the flavor is there. The beef empanadas have a softer texture inside then I'd prefer but very flavorful, worth trying. I was told the BLT was perfectt.

Eggs over medium with spicy Italian sausage

I ordered from these guys on Seamless for delivery. After I placed the order, I realized that I set it for pickup, so I called and asked if they could switch it to delivery. Even though I live out of the delivery zone (didn't realize that until after I ordered) they delivered it anyway, literally going out of their way to get me the breakfast I ordered. From the guy who took my call to the delivery guy, everyone at Jason Deli is the real deal. As for the food, I mean, it was perfect. Over medium egg was creamy, and the spicy italian sausage was hot and meaty. Turkey bacon was piled high on my wife's sandwich. Just look at that photo. Need I say more? Order from these wonderful human beings.

Housed in a landmark Floral Park building, this gem has a warm ambiance with low lighting, leather booths, and quiet background coffee-sleepy-jazz in the background (Though, as a fan, I wish they hadn't messed with the Sly and the Family Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay" :D). There is an inviting large bar, an open kitchen, and a large private room in the back. The menu is American classics made with premium ingredients. Although his place is known for their single malt whiskey, craft beer and signature cocktails, only one at our table had a cocktail: EZ Money made with gin, prosecco, lemon, cucumber and St- Germain Elderflower Liqueur. I will look at their wine list next visit. As for the food, the garlic bread and calamari did not disappoint. Our table ordered a variety of dishes. A unique rotisserie chicken salad sandwich, a salmon bowl, and an order of mussels. Each dish was a win. I chose a great mesclun green salad and had to try the double smash burger, a mouth-watering proprietary blend of prime chuck, brisket and short rib which I'd have to talk myself out of not re ordering with my next visit. From family gatherings and office parties to intimate date nights, The Harrison offers an ambiance and menu designed to satisfy both the casual diner and the most discerning palate.

Poor service, unavailable, menu items and mediocre food…read more The chicken noodle soup came out room temperature and in our opinion did not taste good. It had a heavy lemon taste. I ordered chicken and waffles from the brunch menu which was supposed to come with chicken breast but the server placed the order from main menu, which instead offered wings. The cook came from the kitchen with a very unfriendly demeanor to let me know that she already dropped the chicken and pretty much implied that I would be getting the wings as she already started cooking them. I informed her I will take the wings. However, I still ended up getting the chicken breast tenders. The server offered to make one of the guests, a custom drink, and it was very heavy with rum and was not mixed well as the drink separated shortly after receiving it. All guests ordered a meal from the brunch menu along with a glass of ginger ale. However, we were charged for the drinks, even though it was supposed to be unlimited with brunch. I did not catch that until I got home and realized the drinks were charged separately. (yes we were within the 90 minute limit.) Additionally, only three out of the four ginger ale's came out. She took so long to bring the last one that the guest just declined it as we were almost finished eating. One of the guests ordered French toast with sausage but received bacon instead she also ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon at the same time and the server did not bring it out. She had to be reminded and he came out very late. The macaroni and cheese was not good. It had the appearance of being cooked in a rush. There were big pieces of bacon in it versus the typical smaller bits the cheese was very dry One of the guest ordered the snapper, but the server returned a few minutes later to inform us that they are out of snapper. Be aware that gratuity was automatically included for a party of four. That might explain the not so good service as there is no incentive to do better.

I visited Suite 36 Brunch & Bistro for the second time on Saturday, March 21st with a 2p…read morereservation; however, we arrived around 1:50p. Given my first experience in February, was outstanding, I decided to bring a friend to experience the food. Firstly, I cannot rave enough about the food, 10/10, the chef is on point. This visit, I had the lambchops and grits, and my friend had the bacon fried rice. Excellent, no complaints. The 90 minute bottomless options, specifically, the cocount pineapple mimosa, perfection, no complaints. Secondly, while there was no DJ this time(first time there was and he was on point), the vibe was still nice and perfect for a Saturday brunch. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with this second visit, as around 3:30pm we were asked to leave (we had a full carafe remianing of our bottomless mimosa, but was able to take it with us, so not a waste), as there was a private event in the afternoon/evening. I have no concerns with the restaurant renting for private events; however,I'd expect to be advised there is a time limit for seating when either making the reservation for that day or upon arrival to the restaurant. Not sure of the system limitations for reservations, but perhaps include a note for that day/time letting people know there is an earlier shut down. But, if that isn't an option, at the very least verbally advise of the private event and the shutdown, when the patrons physically arrive at the restaurant. This time, I made the reservation by phone a week earlier. Had I known they were planning to shut down to the public at a certain time, I would have altered the reservation to arrive earlier. Additionally, there were patrons who arrived after us, so their time was cut shorter. If not for the private event, there were empty tables, so we would not have needed to leave at that point to allow for other patrons to be seated. I plan to return as the food is exceptional, not over priced and worth additional visits; however, I want the owners to appreciate how it can be offputting to be asked to leave in that manner. Please be mindful in the future of cutting short the dining experience without prior communication. Other than that, this is a a great option for brunch!

We've been there several times, and while not everything is amazing, the food is generally good and comforting. The star of the menu for me is the avocado toast - that's where they really get it right. The avocado toast is consistently fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly done every time. The pancakes are also very good: fluffy, tasty, and great for a weekend breakfast or brunch. One small thing that would make the experience even better is hot syrup. Warm syrup with those pancakes would take them to the next level. Service can be hit or miss depending on the day. On a previous visit, we had a server who dropped off the food and then basically disappeared until it was time for the check, which was disappointing. On our most recent visit, though, our server was the complete opposite: very attentive, friendly, and professional. It really made a difference in how much we enjoyed the meal. When we arrived this time, there was a line, but since there were only two of us and a table had just opened up, we were seated right away. That was a nice surprise and helped start the visit on a good note. All in all, Floral Park Diner is a nice local place, especially for breakfast or brunch. The food is good diner fare, some dishes shine more than others, and when the service is "on," it's a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend it if you're in the area and want a relaxed, neighborhood spot with great avocado toast and solid breakfast options. After visiting for brunch today, I'm excited to be able to update my review with a full five stars…read more- Swing the Teapot is officially one of my local favorites! I had the tea experience with Black Velvet and it was just what I needed. I'll admit that the licorice and peppermint were very faint, but it was still a tasty tea and sharing a large pot with my partner, we finished the whole thing. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The avocado toast and burger that my friends ordered all looked fantastic too. Great service, delicious food and tea, and very good prices- next visit will be for the live music!

He said it in a nasty and sarcastic tone the way my father would talk down at me, sometimes. Regardless, if paying for the seltzer was required, I would happily pay; but the fact that this guy was disrespectful about it was unwarranted. He reminds me of my dysfunctional parents when they get in their freaking moods. He also told me that there was a two-drink policy when there's a live band and also told me that if more people are coming to the bar, he would have me move. Basically, he was being unwelcoming and wanted to tell me (but couldn't since he was on the job) "fuck you asshole, you're not welcome at the bar". He didn't actually say that but those were the vibes I got from him. That kind of rude impression from him was just unwarranted. Now, I don't know what made me tip him $6. Maybe I wanted to be the better person in that situation since he was being a total asshole..and maybe I don't want him breathing down my neck about the service. He's a real jerkoff. Next time he does that with me again, I'm not going to be nice about it. He was lucky I kept my cool and chose to remain respectful instead of sink to his dysfunctional level that would remind me of my dysfunctional parents (not to mention, my entire dysfunctional family). So this one really stuck with me in the worst way possible because of bad experiences with my family (which would make more sense). That guy needs to be very careful with how he treats people. He will come across somebody who will be a lot nastier and impatient than him and he will get absolute karma for his rude behavior. He has a job. Therefore, he needs to show some professionalism (I don't mind informalities from employees, as long as they're being friendly people). The waiter I had, Marian H, was more professional and pleasant with me than Rich, the bartender, on May 16th, 2026.

Most of what came out of the kitchen was diner quality at best--nothing special, but not offensive. The duck, however, was a disaster. It tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for months before being rushed through a fryer. The meat was fried to a dry, brittle crisp, and the only flavor came from a cloying sweet duck sauce slapped on top. No richness, no tenderness, no redeeming qualities.
