Their breakfast sandwiches have always been my favorite. I used to say that I wished they would open a location closer to me, so you can imagine how happy I was when I heard that a location had finally opened in Garden City last year. Long overdue, but absolutely worth the wait! After dinner in Garden City tonight, we simply drove across the parking lot and stopped in. Of course, I couldn't leave empty-handed. I picked up two chocolate croissants and a tiramisu to take home. The chocolate croissants were beautifully flaky and buttery, and the tiramisu was a lovely indulgence. Everything looked as beautiful as it tasted, which is something I've always appreciated about Tatte. It was the perfect way to end our evening.

They have two different matcha grades to choose from and I always "forest it" so it comes with maple syrup and cinnamon. The matcha is strong and I love the overall vibe in this store. Also, not sure if they use two different roasts for the drinks, but the strawberry tastes much more burnt than the other. The pistachio waffle was probably the best part, but even then, you cannot really mess up on a waffle that is smeared with pistachio butter. Not sure if it is house made though.
