Taste of Paris is not actually that bad. But it is pretty weird. The vibe is less Parisian cafe than hostile architecture. For one thing, there's a hole in the ceiling. It is not small. It's basically an entire missing ceiling tile. Like, there may be some kind of repair project or remodel going on? For another thing, it's rather dark for a coffee shop. It's dimly lit with very little natural light. And the walls seem green screen ready. Jarringly sparse but would make a great Teams background. All that said, the coffee is decent. I ordered off menu. A flat white, no sugar, no syrup. And it was solid. Which, in sum, leaves me at three stars. Two or below if you're drinking in, but maybe four if you're grabbing to go.

Note that there is a upcharge of .60¢ for anything other than the original flavor. These egg tarts by Na Tart were flakey and eggy; everything you would want in an egg tart. The extra flavors were an added bonus. I had one the next day, straight from the fridge, and it was still great! They suggest to eat these tarts warm, or reheated the next day but having them cold was pretty good for me. Parking: plenty of metered parking available plus municipal parking lots around the corner. They have street parking available and a public parking lot just down the block. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out!

The spicy sausage had pieces of jalapeno and the sausage was very good. The croquette was thick, crispy, and had a really good filling. This is what made me come back and order again this year. Unfortunately my expectations were not met this time around. The cake was nothing of what I expected when I went through the design when I first placed the order. The digital art that was placed on the cake and the fondant job were not neatly done. I'm afraid of what the cake would have looked like had I not supplied them with some decorations. Needless to say I was disappointed and will not be using them again for any custom cake jobs.
