    Babagnoush and a garlic sauce.

The food was great and service was quick based on how packed and under staff they were. Ambiance is like a normal American diner. The Mediterranean mix grill was great, it was just missing the chicken and lamb shawarma 2 pcs each. Platter can feed 6 people for sure. It came with rice, fatoush salad (loved it) and babagnoush. Kids loved the mac and cheese and mozzarella sticks. Pastrami was good too. Had the dual sandwich- forgot to take picture. Will definitely visit and recommend. They are hiring for waitress 1-2 needed.

I finally visited a sister restaurant of Luigi's located across the street from the Floral Park…read moreTrain Station. The ambiance appears to be bigger than Luigi's and it's always busy/packed. Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it. I'll be coming to this spot more often because of great company and food!

This one is every ounce of what they market online. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. Inside is amazing. There's even plenty of parking near the local train station. The marketing team did an outstanding job representing this restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

A classic staple that you've probably heard about but never actually got the chance to try it…read more Chicken Lovers is always busy. It's a place that you definitely need to plan ahead just to place an order. But if you have the time and patience to wait, go for it! We walked in around 1:20pm and were quoted an hour long wait. It actually took around an hour & a half to get the food. They don't always pick up the phone or allow online ordering, so if you're in the area, walking in is probably the best bet. The lunch specials are sooo worth it. We got one of each, 1/2 chicken + 1/4 ribs, sides: rice, cucumber salad, mac & cheese, and corn. The amount of food they give you is insane. How is that 1/4 of ribs?! Both the chicken and ribs were tender, juicy, and just fell apart. The green sauce of course is perfection. It's zesty, spicy, and herby- the perfect pairing to the savory meats. Plan ahead if you want to eat here!

In the morning after stopping by the Resort World New York by car, CL seems to be within reach and we seized the opportunity! We arrived at 11:25 AM shortly after it opened. Only two people in front of us and we finished placing the order by 11:30 AM. We were told there would be a 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait before the order could be ready. So, we lounged at the nearby Starbucks for an hour before returning -- a highly recommended option! After 1.5 hours, I asked for my name. Nothing. 1 hour 45 min, nothing. 2 hours, nothing. We thought this was ridiculous and confronted the ordering counter. Alas, they realized our "receipt" was lost. They promised to fulfill it right away; however, the next batch of ribs wouldn't be for another 20 minutes! It's turned out to be a total nightmare - 2.5 hours of waiting, with the 104° record heat to boot. I was plotting to slaughter the review as I waited; fortunately, the guy at the ordering counter knew how to make it right by giving us additional portion of proteins. So was the food worth it? Not with that amount of waiting but it was good. The dark chicken meat was moist and tasty. Chicken breasts were customarily dry, but the magical green sauce more than compensated for the dryness. That green sauce made this whole meal stand out for sure. It had massive amount of cilantro and garlic as far as I could tell. I'd like to think of it as Asian pesto. Although it's a "chicken" joint, everyone in my party unanimously preferred the ribs - uniformly tender and easier to eat. Oh, remember to grab some plastic gloves on your way out!

The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

Our server kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The calamari and shrimp ceviche were both delicious - the calamari was well battered and the ceviche was fresh.
