    Breakfast with crispy bacon

I'm here in town dropping my daughter off at school at NYIT and came across this cool little restaurant. I was in the mood for breakfast and found the Our Town Grill on Yelp. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a gentleman Teddy who seated me immediately. I picked a seat outside by a fountain surrounded by a garden. The server Lisa was extremely friendly and attentive. This is the kind of place where the whole vibe is that they want you to be happy and feel welcomed. Breakfast came out within a few minutes and was delicious. The bacon was nice and crispy, the coffee excellent and the eggs cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at our town grille and can not wait to come back! The service was incredible and extremely accommodating! The ice tea was delicious! My grilled cheese was a 12/10! I will be back soon!

It's Our Town! One of Malverne's town jewels and for a reason. Went back for the first time in ages today and the hostess couldn't have been nicer! Pricing is more than fair, especially compared with other local diners where the staff isn't nearly as kind, helpful, or patient. It was my husband's first time eating here and he has celiac disease- we were thrilled by the fact they had gf bread, bagels, and English muffins!! So lucky to live in a town where we have a place like this

Forgot to take picture until I ate half of my fried egg with bacon sandwich.

First time here. I came at busy lunch time. The staff was very friendly with smiles including the cook smiling at me. They seated me immediately. I was in the mood for a fried egg sandwich with bacon. The menu is extensive offering many lunch and breakfast items all day long. They close at lunch time on weekdays at least but are open later Friday, Sat. and Sun. I would like to come back soon to order lunch. $15.20 for the fried two egg sandwich with bacon and a cappuccino plus tax.

I mean this is gluten free French toast---for me to slam it...well my gfers out there know what this means!!

Good breakfast food, lunch isn't as great in my opinion but cute little diner. Retro atmosphere and the staff is quite friendly.

I can't give 5 stars as the dining we struggle with .. Service is up and down. Both occasions felt the same. For Prime 39, I categorized the place as a restaurtant that happens to provide fine dining, but has an upscale feel. The music selection is really good here and the selection feeds into the upscale feeling with a good mix of R&B. We arrived promptly for our reservation but noted that it took a while to seat us, even though the dining room was empty. I do appreciate the dividers as they give you some privacy when sitting next to another group. The wait was uncomfortably long, which made us wonder if we should change our reservation to sit at the bar. We ordered drinks and water, but it took a while for the drinks to make their way to the table. The place wasn't that busy, but it did make us want to rush our order in for appetizers and entrees. Drinks were watery... As in sitting too long stir up the ice and keep stirring. The food had some winners. We enjoyed our entrees of Branzino, Burger, Cajun Shrimp Pasta as well as our appetizers which included lamb chops and Calamari. We also had a mini-chicken and waffles appetizer... Really good. I haven't seen this before and glad I tried it. Although we did enjoy the entrees, we left the drinks. From my experience I would suggest visiting the bar but I would place an order to go.

Walking in, we were greeted by music playing, St. Patty's decorations being hung, a lively bar with people seated, and plenty of basketball games on the TVs. Our server, Camila, greeted us like old friends, setting the tone for a fantastic night--one I'd happily repeat again and again. Between our group, we ordered a few dozen wings. Everyone opted for naked wings with sauce on the side for dipping. A dear friend once taught me, "When in Rome," so I followed suit and went for naked wings with sauce on the side. They offered about 20 different sauces, but the honey garlic called my name. Others ordered sweet chili, Asian garlic, kicking bourbon, and mango habanero. We also shared a side of onion rings and disco fries. As we talked and laughed, Camila kept the drinks coming and even changed the games on the TVs for us. The real sleeper hit of any good bar is the music, and Elsie Lane did not disappoint. The playlist jumped between genres--movie soundtracks, trap music, old-school hip-hop, '70s soft rock, and so much more I'm forgetting. If you zoned out for a moment, you might suddenly hear merengue playing when you stared paying attention. It was fantastic! When the food arrived, it absolutely delivered. The volume at our table dropped as we dug into the delicious spread. The wings were perfectly crispy and naked, great on their own but even better with the sauces. I was blown away by how good they were, though I was quickly stuffed after six wings and picking at the onion rings. The onion rings were fried to a satisfying crunch, and the dipping sauce paired perfectly. By the end of the night, nothing was left but full bellies and another great memory of training and dinner with the boys. This spot deserves the love, especially for those wings! I'm absolutely coming back to try the rest of the menu--the burgers looked incredible. 5/5 stars, and a special shoutout to Camila for her 5/5 star service!
