    FRENCH ONION

We loved our food at Stoneys on P Street! We went their twice on our 4 day stay and both times where great! We got the wings both times and they where great. We also got the French Onion soup the 1st day and the 2nd we got mozzarella sticks which were good as well. The atmosphere was really cool and very local. The service both times expecially the first time was amazing as well. If you are in the DC or the Logan Circl3 area than I HIGHLY recommend Stoneys!

The food, I give it a thumbs up, the service is good but you will need to tell the bartender where your sitting at, its self seating when you come in. The ambiance is good they had the football games on and it not too noisy to hear the games, good atmosphere here. I would definitely come back here with friends.

Never seen fat orange cat on tap...maybe next time i go I'll try it.

I was at Phillips for the Bonnard exhibit on the third floor. Very well put together if you like impressionists. I was craving some wings and remembered Stoney's came up on a list for "best wings in DC". It was a nice day and I decided to go. Maybe a 5 block walk, nice weather. I roll in a few minutes after 11AM Saturday last. The kitchen was still catching up so I ordered a Stoney's lager and had a seat at the bar. It's a small place, going back a bit from the street. Definitely a neighborhood hangout. Soccer is on (fun to watch but i don't know anything about soccer). After another beer I order some wings hot. I was hungry and thirsty was being worked on. The wings show up after someone scored a goal on the big TV. They're hot and fresh. Just what I was in the mood for. The wings have cooled off enough to eat. Very tasty. Definitely filling if you're looking for some quality chicken. I grab another brew and I'm out. Nice place for a meal or drink with friends. Chase behind the bar is a solid server right on time when I'm empty with the glass or the wings.

Good place to grab a meal and drink in DC. I went to DC for a girl's trip in July 2022 with one of my best friends. Our Air BnB was about a block and half from Stoney's which was extremely convenient. We arrive on a Thursday afternoon to DC. After traveling all day from North Carolina and getting to our Air BnB we were tired and just wanted to have a chill night exploring the area a bit. We decided to just walk around and stumbled on Stoney's and decided to check it out and I'm glad we found it on our first night. When we arrived we sat ourselves. The restaurant looks smaller from the outside than it is. It's not wide, but it is long. There's a big section in the back then the kitchen is also in the back. We sat in the bar area, but not at the bar. We ordered a few things to share. We ordered a pizza and onion rings and wings. They were all good and the prices were great. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return Saturday for a take-out order to take back to our Air BnB. This time I ordered a bowl of chili and my friend ordered a burger. Both were delicious! It definitely has a local feel, which I loved. DC is a tourist hot spot, but I always appreciate finding local hidden gems.

What a fantastic meeting place with lots of energy. OK this is the cutest meeting place/sports bar grilled cheese exciting atmosphere to go. We found this place thru my son and it was a 5 star experience. The sever was happy to greet us and inform us the specials and we were there to watch football, eat and drink! The grilled ham and cheese was amazing, the French fries bring a group Of friends and you will not be disappointed!

Another great meal at Stoney's. It was a slow day. However, still really good service and experience. It was also a fun local crowd at the bar with Reese. She was amazing, very attentive, and kept my drink filled without asking. I love this place for the tater tots. I came in for a burger but remembered they had grill cheese. So, I got the Rocket with tater tots (small upcharge for the tots). The bread was tasty, sprinkled with sunflower seeds. Enjoyed the Swiss cheese. Both sandwich and tots were amazing. Love this place. Stop by and check them out.

The people and the Reuben! I have to change the review and give them an upgrade, because I was not aware of how amazing they are.

    False advertising!

Website says $6 bloody Mary and mimosas. They charged $8. When we complained and showed them the menu on their website, they still charged us $8. So, they overcharged by $8.

Overall not impressive with my visit here sorry Our waitress was very nice and attentive and she was a great seller and sweet. HOWEVER my brother and i complaints was the bathroom where smelly awful and super dirty . My biggest concern was health wise. We saw more than one mouse running towards the kitchen spoiled my appetite i was no way i could eat there we leave right away. I do not recommend anyone to eat here sorry drinks only alcohol kill germs right.....

We were sat in the solarium area, and it was during the heat dome, and it was really warm in there. Otherwise, though, it's completely charming inside and reminds us of some of the best French bistros we've been to in the country (e.g. Balzathar, Le Supreme). The three cocktails we tried--the frose, le jardin, and the clouseau--were all stunners. And of course the bread deserves another special mention, *especially* the room temperature butter. Thank you for not serving hard as hell butter! We shared the warm shrimp salad to start, and for $31, we were expecting more than a few avocado slices and 4 shrimp on it, but c'est la vie. The dressing was incredible, and the greens were crunchy. That's actually the only dish of the night that we thought was unfairly overpriced. One of us ordered the burger and the other got the rabbit pappardelle--you've got to get rabbit when you see it on a menu, which isn't often enough! There was a good amount of super tender meat and the pasta was perfectly al dente, all in a lightly stunning sauce. Chef's kiss. The burger was, no surprise, another triumph. There was juicy meat, bun integrity, and all the right accouterment notes. The fries are standard. Our daughter got their mac-n-cheese, which is probably just the gratin dish renamed. It was OK. We kind of got out of control for dessert and ordered the pot de creme, the cookie dough ice cream, and the profiteroles. Honestly, these were all good, but nothing that stood out as exemplary as with the savory stuff. Our only major complaint was the service. It was really spotty and while there was a very, very long gap in between when we got our water and then put in our drinks, but our mains came out almost directly after the salad. And the guy was just not very hospitable. Not necessarily a "bad" experience...it just could have been a lot better. Four stars, and we have already declared that we will be back again to "The Dip" because there is so much else on the menu that we want to try.

This was one of the most unique shakshukas I'd ever had... It literally tasted like a curry dish you might get at your local Indian restaurant, with a bit of a brunch flair to it. The curry itself had a wee bit of spice and was a bit sweet - but that could have been from the sweet potatoes. The chicken was served in a bowl on the side, which felt a bit... odd... I would've expected it to be incorporated into the main dish. It was kind of bland and a bit lukewarm, so I don't know that I'd order that again... but I would definitely order this again!

My daughter had the wild mushrooms burger and she loved it -- the aioli had the perfect tang to go with the mushroom and Swiss, both burgers were cooked perfectly medium as requested.
