Wow! Stonefruit is SUCH a cute coffee shop!! It has such a great chill and calm feel to it. They have lots of different seating options and a solid menu. You can find any coffee you'd want or a few fun pastries in addition to some cafe bites. The barista was very nice and friendly. They have a cute bookshelf in the back if you need something to read while you sip your coffee. They also have lots of cute local craft products that you can shop towards the back. Such a great vibe and can't wait to come back!

Food is esthetically pleasing and taste good, but not sanitary and they hold up the corner with so much seating that it invites all these homeless people over night, you can really feel their presence the next day, and people are cluelessly eating over the filth also iim pointing out on the photos, its clear 90% of the people dont see it. my coworker had food poisoning

Super busy on a weekday morning! Everyone in this area is working here and there's barely any seats inside besides the front because it's not as laptop friendly- but I love coffee tables so that wasn't an issue. I love the vibe of the place and everything is local. There are also fresh flowers as there's a botanicals section connected to the coffee and kitchen! The winter grain bowl was super tasty and they serve one of my favorite tea brands. Service was you serve yourself- you have to get up to grab your food and your utensils and also to get anything you possibly need. This place is more of a coffee shop than a cafe type place but I'm grateful for the matching ceramic bowls and coffee mugs!

Very nice spot with a wide selection of offerings, from coffee and tea drinks, pastries, breakfast items, to retail goods like candles and even plants. The shop is airy with lots of natural light, and has several tables outside - I ate in straight up 37 degrees, but it was a quick meal and I was bundled up so it wasn't too bad. The service is prompt but not overly friendly. I ordered the yogurt bowl and it was awesome! It had pears, freeze dried strawberries, blackberries, and orange slices and was such a delicious and unique bowl that I'd absolutely return for. I love when places have yogurt parfaits that aren't your usual combo of fruits. I also had a hot apple cider here that really hit the spot. Lastly, I got a pumpkin loaf - loved the frosting part of it, but the loaf itself was just okay. I'll definitely look forward to coming back.

Super cute cafe with other goodies and plants in the back! Seems like a good working place if you get here early enough to grab a spot. * Pastries were so good. Both taste and textures were perfect! * I got the matcha latte and it was one of the best I've had from a store!

Stopped in to look at plants and cards while walking on Bedford Ave. I loved the variety, organization of the planters, cards, gift items. Will be back to try out their coffee. Tables and chairs outside on the sidewalk.

Bedford-Stuyvesant is slowly becoming gentrified. It hasn't reached Williamsburg level thankfully. Stonefruit is one of these newer cafes that seem to be out of place among the crack and hookers that most people associate this neighborhood with. Coffee is the main beverage. The food menu has lots for vegans. Cafe inside is bigger than it appears. It has a cozy feeling. There's a few tables inside that can fit a large group. Everyone wants coffee. You can certainly get coffee here. It's $2 for a cup of drip coffee. They also have lots of the fancy more expensive espresso with the whipped cream and that crazy stuff. Also they have some food. The most popular item is the Avocado Smash. It's about $8 for a piece of toast loaded with avocado. This also has a pile of sprouts. It seems to always be busy, because hipsters have to eat. Seems like a good place for chilling with something to read. The mornings are crazy busy but they also have good stuff at lunch too.

Good coffee and delicious food. Lots of vegan options for food and baked goods! Everything looked delicious. Most of the baked goods are vegan and there are lots of gluten free ones as well. The back room is an excellent place to do work for a while. It's beautiful and calming with all the

Adorable cafe with thoughtful shabby chic touches as far as the eye can see. Would love to try their pretty pastries. The dandelion root latte was very interesting. Not for the coffee devotee but interesting nonetheless. Next up rose water lavender latte.

Service is great, beautiful space but drinks aren't good and are expensive. Food is even more overpriced somehow. I'm here all the time cuz I live down the street but every time I go, I end up spending so much just to be disappointed with what I got even if the interior is beautiful and there's nice outdoor seating.

One of my go-to spots in the area to get some work done and enjoy the incredible selection of pastries + craft coffees. The quality of the drinks are always 10/10 - they never miss. The interiors are also so beautiful and the baristas are very kind! Will continue to be frequenting here :-)

Pros: - One of my go-to cafes in Bed-Stuy- super cute decor with lots of exposed wood, colorful pillows, and plants throughout the space. I recommend the solid lattes and Avocado Smash with egg. My friend really liked her Green Salad - Wide selection of healthy plants and beautiful unique pots and plant baskets. I've looked extensively in New York for elegant planters, and Stonefruit is one of the best stores. Cons: - Steep hipster prices - one slice of toast with Avocado & egg = ~$12. Small handmade ceramic plant pots can go as high as $120! Be prepared to splurge here on all foods and goods. - While all the cakes look delectable and instagram-worthy, some of them are on the drier side and do not taste as fresh as they look Tip: - Make sure to get the loyalty card- buy 10 get 1 free - Stonefruit is getting more and more popular and can pretty packed on weekends, be prepared to wait to order and for available seating

There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

The tote bags were so cute but they were kind of pricey in my opinion. A standard beige Kijitora bag was priced for $30 each! They had several designs for sale. I was just busy checking out the cool cat merchandise while I was waiting in the long line to purchase the matcha drinks. The line was exceptionally long! It was worth the hype though! When I was my turn, I got an iced strawberry matcha latte and an iced mango matcha latte. It was so pretty when I got them. The mango and strawberry paste were sitting at the bottom of the matcha latte. I had to stir and mix the fruits with the whole drink. Surprisingly it was not sweet at all and was just right! They made it in a way that wanted you to crave more of it. It was very addicting. I did not get onigiris this time but will be sure to get some next time I'm here. They were just $4 each for miso salmon, tuna mayo, mentaiko cod roe, sukiyaki beef, and chashu pork. What a decent price for one onigiri! I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down! The stairs are very narrow so I had to hold onto the rail. It was not ergonomically friendly at all.

This is a really cute café that has gorgeous leather furniture, lighting fixtures, and cool plants everywhere, very modern looking. The music they play here is great too. I was a little disappointed to see that their food menu was quite limited, and by that time of day, there was really only one savory option that stood out to me, the Parmesan and leek pastry. I ordered this and had the barista heated up for me, as well as print out a receipt because this is how you access the Wi-Fi. I sat in the corner along the wall on a wooden bench and attempted to do work on one of the small metal tables. The tables are quite low, so this really isn't a great place to get a ton of work done in my opinion, as well as the fact that the Wi-Fi only works for 30 minutes and after that, you need to go back up and get another receipt for a code. I was also a little disappointed in the pastry itself, as it wasn't fully heated and was a little too greasy for me. I can't speak on the coffee here, but it did look like they provide high-quality options. Vibes and aesthetic are high but I can't say I'd come here again.

The cafes, coffee bars and eateries who recognize the need to connect are the real entrepreneurs. Polly's Cafe patrons are sipping coffee drinks made with La Colombe and devouring Balthazar pastries. As I waited to order my cold brew, the conversations ran the gamut from school, work, summer travel plans, catching up. It is unwinding, savoring each sip and bite with a friend or partner and just enjoying the connection. Polly's Cafe reminds me of a cafe one would find in the Hudson Valley: small, quaint and offering high end food. The interior is cozy, a few tables and a backyard garden. The menu packs a small punch: hot/cold beverages, breakfast burritos, BLT, salads and so much more. I waited around 10 minutes to order a cold brew, the pastries (croissants: chocolate, everything, goat cheese and herb, ham and cheese, butter, sticky toffee banana bread, chocolate babka crumb cake, brownies)were sold out and only olive oil cake remained. My friend could not finish it, so I asked for a replacement shot--the Expresso Shot 2--and the staff were kind enough to offer it to us free of charge. This shot was also just as sour, with notes of passion fruit. There are no other espresso shot options, and both shots are $5-6 each. The Chai Latte tasted just like the concentrates I would get from supermarkets. When I finished my cup and peered at the bottom for any spice residue, I found the grainy texture you'd find in said supermarket concentrates.
