For health reasons I cannot eat spicy foods but they had some wonderful dishes that were not spicy but ohhh soooo good. Great lunch menu. Khai was our waiter and he was so knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. He was personable and friendly. I eat out a lot and he was one of the best waiters I have encountered. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were looking to try a new restaurant and we choose Stone Age Korean Grill and Bar. It was amazing. Our server, Yvonne, suggested that we might want to try the Stone Grill. She said it was an experience! We are so happy we took her advice. We started with the Bulogi Dumplings. They were so good. Then we ordered the Sweet Soy Chicken Rice Bowl. It was amazing. It was served in a Stone Bowl that kept it hot the entire meal. It was delicious and so big - two people could definitely split this dish. We also ordered the Stone Grill New York Strip. It was served on an 800 degree volcanic cooking stone and we actually grilled our own steak to the temperature we wanted. It kept the meat hot the entire meal and it was indeed an experience. The ice tea was delicious! We would have loved to try the deserts but we were stuffed. We can't wait to go back!! 5 Star Experience. We would definitely recommend trying this Gem!! read more

Loved the service. Very attentive and it was a team effort. At least had 5 people working our table. Good food. With Korean food you either go for quantity or quality. This place is more of a quality place. Great cuts of mean and just about perfect portions. The stone was hot all the way til we were done. Very little smoke so you don't smell like a typical KBBQ place. We were definitely full by the time we left. Korean restaurants know how to provide good service and this place was no exception. Plates disappeared as we finished with them. By the time we were done all that was left was our drinks. I'm giving this place a two star and it's not because the food was not good. Let's start with the dining experience. The stone concept is really cool, however the stone plate is very small and it can't cook much meat at once so you're frequently cooking in small batches, it's really hard to enjoy my food when I'm constantly cooking since you're only able to cook like 6 slices of meat at once. Secondly, there's no vent for the fumes from the cooking. So is the entire time the fumes is just wafting into your face. We ordered the marinated galbi which is delicious but it was kept whole. When we asked for scissors to cut the meat instead they gave me a steak knife which was really difficult to cut the meat with as we had no space on the plate it was served on to cut it. There are no chopsticks provided and instead only forks? We had to ask for them. This was odd since it is a Korean restaurant. Also, most Korean restaurants from the moment you sit down side dishes are brought out, complimentary. Here they give you 2 sides complimentary with every meat order. But any other extra sides come at a cost. Lettuce for your meat? Yup $2 for a "lettuce kit" which included four lettuce leaves. Rice? That cost extra. Portion size for the meat is the smallest I've ever had from any BBQ place. For 35$+ I got 10 pieces of the sliced galbi. They had a mobile ordering system which really made ordering and paying very quick and easy. The seafood pancake is delicious! Must try. But I won't be returning although the food was good the experience was not. read more

Visiting friends for gf's birthday and decided to get away for a quick dinner just the two of us. Made reservations and confirmed via text the day of. Cooking on a hot stone seemed interesting but a bit gimmicky but I had to try for myself. We made it on a Thursday which had several apps for $5 and a few drink specials which was nice. We had ssoteok and bulgoggi mac and cheese to start. Ssoteok was the perfect app to get the dinner started. Bulgoggi mac and cheese for me didn't hit the spot but gf liked it. We ordered the rib eye and pork belly with 4 sides. Sides weren't all that but it did help compliment the meats. The problem with the hot stone is that you can't control the temp and no ventilation or the oil to drip to. The allure of the stone quickly faded once the pork belly got up to temp and started spraying oil everywhere. Stone keeps cooking while you're slowly eating trying to avoid the oil splatter which made the pork belly extra crispy. Now I'm a fan of this but if you're not, you need to remove it as I found out the stone does a very good job of holding heat. In fact, the stone was still very hot to touch well after our meal. At the end of the meal, we were offered chocolate raspberry or mango parfait for her birthday which I thought was a nice touch. Our server was super friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions. It seemed like she was the only server that night which could have been bad for everyone but it was not busy when we were there. I definitely think it's worth a try but wear long sleeves or order meat that are less fatty. read more

I wish I had taken pictures before we devoured our food, because it was amazing. We started with the seafood pancake and cheese corn. The sauce for the pancake was to die for. The pancake was great, but it could have used more seafood. The cheese corn was cooked perfectly. Next up was the tofu soup, bulgogi rice bowl, bulgogi Mac and cheese, and house salad with sesame dressing. The Mac and cheese was beyond expectations. Everything else was excellent as well. We are definitely coming back to try the stone grilling. My only criticism is that, yes, it does get quite smoky inside. Better ventilation would be a good addition. This place is a hidden gem! It's been here just shy of 4 months and so glad that we came by and wish we came here sooner! The owner was our hostess and was super nice and attentive. Looks like we did shock her a bit by being the first party of 2 to order the Stone Age Special Set for 4-6 people. We wanted to try a variety of items and this was the perfect way to do it. Everything came out presented wonderfully and appeasing to the eyes and pallet. This set comes with set sides, but you can substitute and try up to 8 different sides! All of the dishes were delicious and generous portions. Cooking meat and seafood on a stone grill was pretty cool as well. We did end up packing a lot to go with no complaints being able to make another meal from leftovers. We will definitely be back soon! Next time will also leave room for dessert! read more

We made a reservation for 4 because it said it was needed. When we got there on a Saturday, it was pretty empty. We specified it we were celebrating 2 birthdays, but that was ignored. We came in at Happy Hour so we ordered some appetizers & drinks off that menu. They were like $5 each. We ordered the Chef's Table & the bibimbap. It came with ONLY 2 SIDES. Kimchi was NOT FREE. It was $4-$5! What kbbq CHARGES for kimchi??? And they barely gave us much. My friend had asked for water MULTIPLE times and the waiter left us waiting for it for over 20 mins. When we got out bibimbap, it didn't have the sauce so we had to wait ANOTHER 10 MINS FOR THE SAUCE BEFORE WE CAN EAT IT. With the stone grill, the utensils given were only a fork, knife, & tongs. How do you eat kbbq with no scissors to cut the meat??? Mind you, we're Asian & we're expecting chopsticks. You just cut the meat with a DULL knife on the stone. This isn't steak. 3/4 of the time was spent WAITING. Portions were so small it took less than 30 mins to actually even eat. The check came out to be over $100 and the server had the audacity to try and add a 20% tip for himself before we stopped him. For the service he provided? A complete joke. Overall, service was terrible. Food was terrible. And everything was WAYYY overpriced & we left HUNGRY. So disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go to an actual kbbq because this wasn't even close to authentic. read more

Does grilling small precut meats on a hot stone look very pretentious? Maybe. I definitely fell in love with this niche of theirs. While cooking kbbq sometimes can sometimes be a hassle, the small hot stone allowed me to enjoy my experience with hot freshly grilled meat one by one. We got the ala carte boneless galbi and pork belly but the former's portion was quite big enough for the both of us to enjoy. The boneless galbi's marbling didn't need any dipping sauces even though most of the time I enjoy marinated meats more. The side dishes were also an adequate amount, but I wasn't sure if we can refill them. The only thing I thought was kind of lacking was that the ssam jang was quite chunky and not smooth enough to pick up and spread out into a paste. Would love to come back. read more
