I should have read these reviews when Home Depot assigned Stone Systems for my project. I would echo a number of complaints listed in the numerous reviews below 1. Measure was held up because of internal confusion about a seam, number of phone calls to resolve 2. Terrible follow up - required multiple calls (including to Home Depot) to get then to schedule install 3. Never showed up for the appointment (no enough people for the job?) - no follow up 4. Made the cut out for the slide in stove too small (I think they should know this considering it's their day job) 5. Multiple calls (including to home depot) to even set up a rework appointment 6. Despite clear instruction to use plastic sheeting to isolate job site - did not do it - LEFT WITHOUT CLEANING UP 7. Scratched brand new floors during rework I'm still cleaning up my clothes and valuables because of all the dust left behind. ASK HOME DEPOT TO GIVE YOU ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.

Really you are horrible. I will special media you till you fix this fup

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have never had such a horrible experience with a company. Had I known that Home Depot in Bastrop was going to outsource the project to them, I would not have made the purchase. Communication with them was non-existent. I had to do all of the calling, trying to get any information. When they finally came out to install, the installer was putting my solid surface in without any blocking, despite the measurer telling me they would be putting plywood down under the countertop. Without the support, the counter was bowing. I told him to fix it and add the supports. He refused saying he did not have any 1/2" plywood. I had to get the wood myself and put it down. He would have actually left it like that. Then, for some bizarre reason, he decided to put shims under my farmhouse sink, even though it was flush with the cabinet and perfectly level. This caused a gap under the sink and then forced the solid surface counter to bend up at the sink. This then caused the seam to crack. I have been fighting to get it fixed ever since. I was told they were coming out on Thursday - no show. Today they were supposed to come out between 9am - 12n. Didn't show up. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I don't understand how they even stay in business, unless it's because Home Depot doesn't care about the final product, just the sale. Buyer beware.

Love it!

I was really skeptical to finish my countertop order through Lowe's as I checked out the reviews of the company here. The pics posted were terrifying! But I think they subcontract their workers so I took a gamble. I love our countertops and I think all the guys did a great job! I wasn't going to take anything less than great anyways, but I think the job was phenomenal. I had a special waterfall island (paid extra for the oversized piece) edges look great. Seams by sink look good. They also shimmied my farmhouse sink so everything was 'seamline.' Anyways some people only take to yelp to share bad experiences so I wanted to share my good experience with Luis. Posted a pic! Thank you so much!

Bed countertop installation!!! 4 days without a kitchen.

DO NOT USE THEM. Their customer support is terrible. Their work sucks!! They did a bad job of installing the countertop and there is no follow-up on their side to have it fixed ASAP. Its going to be 4 days without a countertop.

Gouge where a seam goes. Unacceptable.

Oh my lord....purchased new granite counters from Home Depot. They subcontracted to Stone Systems. First the installers tried to tell me that I couldn't have my sprayer in my new faucet. After 20 mins on the phone with the plumber, we engineered a solution. Come to find out the hole for our drop in sink was cut way too large so there was a good inch of granite missing from the back. Then we see gouges in the edges as well as a chunk missing from where there would be a seam. I run a home daycare and cannot be without a functioning kitchen for however long they take to recut my granite! I have no water in my kitchen either. Home Depot can't get the stone systems manager on the phone. After calling him every few minutes I finally got him on the phone. He said "let me make a few phone calls and get back to you." Completely unacceptable! Update 1: Bo, the installation manager, seems like he could care less. I had to keep calling him to get info. He never returned any of our calls. They found a way to get us water while we wait for new stone to be cut. But that means I have to pay for plumbing to connect and disconnect twice. Home Depot was great and gave us cash to pay the plumber. They are also getting HD corporate involved.

Also chose this backsplash. Allen & Roth Picasso

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.

Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

The team appeared comfortable working on bathroom renovations; however, the shower diverter was not installed correctly, which caused the handle to be improperly aligned. We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

The owner refuses to take responsibility in public, while sending nicer emails in private and trying to phone . . . this is /deception/ on a stick. You do not say one thing in public and in private say "I didn't really mean that." Ido is upset this negative review and would like it gone, but is unwilling to apologize or be truthful. I'll be updating all my social media reviews according. You'll notice that there are a sudden rash of bad reviews, not just from me. Do business with this guy at your risk.] I have tried to use this company twice. Both times, appointments were easy to set-up and Maria (not sure how to spell her name) was kind, helpful, and lovely. I had a minor flood and needed a company to work with my home insurance for the repairs. "Together Design" was one of four contractors I consulted, all with excellent reviews here and on Google. Avri the project manager was courteous and helpful, and was the last estimate I needed for the insurance company. I waited some weeks, but an estimate never came. I finally called the Avri's phone number on the caling card he cave me (I think I woke him up, sounded groggy at first). Avri said that my expectation for an estimate was misguided, and that he's being doing this job for quite a while. He said that the way "Together Design" works is that they only provided an estimate once I hired them. I said this is backwards, that I am to receive estimates and select the company I felt comfortable with in consultation with my adjuster. Avri stared to make excuses, none of which addressed my concern--that to consider them, I needed an estimate. I found his customer service quite rude: he kept cutting me off, he would not listen, he was defensive, made excuses, and so on. He stressed his experience, to which I responded three other contractors have already provided estimates and I was waiting for his. Avri said estimate-first is not how they do business, but he would get an estimate to my adjuster ASAP anyway. After a few days without an estimate, I went with another contractor. Maria called to follow up, and I told her my issues. She asked if I could give them another chance, I said not at the time, as time was of the essence and I needed the work to start yesterday. Disappointing, but I was ready to move on. Flash forward five months later, and I haired a crooked contractor who I am now unfortunately suing (cannot review them yet until that suit moves forward). I remembered Maria asking if I could give them another chance, so I decided to call again. Like the first time, communication was clear, easy, and Maria was very easy to work with. I was asked if I wanted to work with Avri again, and I said absolutely not given how poorly he handed the first time. Days later, however, I received a phone call and Maria said she was "calling with news." After she shared with the project managers my videos and photographs, they concluded my "scope" of my project was "not a good fit." I asked if it was "too small" or "two large" of a job. She said, "uhhhh . . . legally I can't say." I found this quite odd. She apologized, expressed wanting to help, but it was not something they are willing to do. I asked again why, and she would not say. Perhaps it was because I did /not/ want to work with Avri, but another PM. As I was about to post this review, I received a message from "Ido" who said their company /only/ takes on remodels from "start to finish." This was the first I have heard this excuse, it's certainly not mentioned in their advertising. If this were truly the case, I should have been told this upfront so I did not waste my time again. Maria asked I give them a second chance, and I did. This is a private business, and it's their right to turn down any client. Absolutely. It's also my right to report my experience. I'm trying to be careful not to be too judgement, but not being "legally" able to tell me why they wouldn't take the job the second time appears deceitful, as does "Ido's" explanation they /now/ only do start-to-finish remodels. Your milage may vary.
