The contract was to insulate and drywall our detached garage, including R-30 wall and attic insulation, which we paid for in full. Unfortunately, their subcontractor installed R-15 insulation in the walls instead of the agreed-upon R-30. The attic was also only partially insulated. Because the attic was difficult to access, I asked the company to provide pictures showing the completed insulation. They sent me photos claiming to show our attic, but the pictures were actually of someone else's attic. I did not discover this until later, when an HVAC company was working in our attic and showed me pictures confirming that the insulation was only partially installed. This was not simply poor workmanship--it was misleading and dishonest. We paid for work that was not completed according to the contract, and we were given pictures that did not even show our property. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. Be extremely careful and verify the work yourself before making any final payment.

The project scope was construction of a 700 square foot ADU Full bathroom and kitchen installation Utility connections and permitting -Project timeline: 5 months The company demonstrated strong expertise in ADU construction and navigating local building codes. Their team maintained consistent communication throughout the project, providing weekly updates on progress and any potential challenges. The quality of workmanship, particularly in the finishing details, exceeded my expectations. Alon & Eli the project managers was responsive to our concerns and addressed issues promptly. There was a few minor hiccups in scheduling but it was more in city side and they addressed it right away The final cost aligned with the initial estimate, with only minor variations due to some upgraded fixtures we chose during construction. The pricing was not the cheapest but the value was more then worth it snd saved us a lot of headace and delays. - Excellent attention to detail in finishing work - Strong knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements - Professional and courteous crew - High-quality materials used throughout - Energy-efficient design and installation Despite the minor scheduling hiccups, I would highly recommend for ADU construction projects. Their expertise in ADU-specific requirements and attention to detail resulted in a beautiful, functional living space that has significantly enhanced our property value.

Clint really has a way of finding really talented craftsmen and workers. Additionally, unlike others we've worked with where you don't know who is showing up on what day at what time, Clint's guys work consistent hours, for us they typically showed up at 8 and had cleaned up for the day by 5. As disruptive as a remodel can be it's a relief to have a little consistency. Another reason we've stuck with VanRossun is because unlike other contractors we've worked with or gotten bids from, Clint is a good open communicator about the budget. He's been great about sitting down with us and pricing things out, and then we can sort of trim from there to get what we really need out of our budget. Really happy with Clint and Isabel and their crew, and we plan on going back to them in the future.

Avi was an absolutely delight. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. Very thoughtful approach in our initial meeting. So many images from their highly impressive portfolio to help us think through options. Excellent examples of communication and workflow from previous projects. Instantly ready to share previous customers we could reach out to for references. A really good balance between sharing his ideas for our project, but also really listening to our feedback on what we wanted/invisoned. All the right insights for how to keep us in budget, and very generous with (we can add this/that for little/no extra costs since we're already doing XYZ). We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Can't wait to work with them in the future.

In any event, I hesitated to write a review because Shaked was nice to work with and incredibly responsive, but we are still having issues with the work that was done. The most annoying of which is the constant smell from the kitchen sink island. Our kitchen was gutted and everything installed was brand new. A week or so after install, I noticed a moldy, wet, dank smell coming from the sink, dishwasher and surrounding island cabinets (where a large group of pipes feeds into the foundation). Shaked and the plumber remarked that the disposal probably needed to be cleaned. The disposal and everything associated with the kitchen were brand new - they did not need to be cleaned - but we cleaned them anyways. I let this go because my husband didn't really smell anything and I wanted to be optimistic. Well, it's two years later and now EVERYONE in the house can smell this musty dank smell!! We have troubleshooted the dishwasher, the disposal, the p-traps, etc. and are having another plumber investigate. We will likely have to redo part of the island to discover the cause of the smell and it's incredibly frustrating that we can't host because our kitchen smells gross! There were additional issues. A couple months after we started using our newly remodeled kitchen, we heard a loud bang and noticed that the disposal completely detached from the sink! I contacted Shaked and he said something along the lines of - this is normal. Ummmm, No! I've never in my entire life had a disposal fall out from under a sink. He begrudgingly sent the plumber to reset it. It started to come loose again not long after their plumber reinstalled it. Ultimately, my husband DIY'd the install after watching a Youtube video. It's been fine since my husband installed it. Lets see, there was a leak around the base of a newly installed toilet. The toilet needed to be reinstalled. The floating master bath tub was caulked with the wrong product so it looked gross a month or so after install - and continues to look gross because we can't get the substance off. The heated floor wiring was cut during install of the bathroom floors, despite it having an alarm system to alert to said issue. After a lot of back and forth and troubleshooting (on my end), Shaked's team ultimately agreed to remove most of the flooring to reinstall with new wiring. The flooring on the stairs looks sketch to put it nicely. The wall paneling at the base of the kitchen island is wavy and disjointed - looks like a DIY project. The trim on the French doors leading to the master bedroom keeps falling off. Etc. etc. etc. Things they did well - tiling! The tile work from these folks looks amazing! Communication - Shaked was extremely responsive and did his best to address issues as they arose. They were helpful - a pipe burst during the freeze while the house was being remodeled and Shaked sent his plumber to repair quickly and without charge! They happily made changes and didn't really every charge extra which was refreshing. Despite being smelly, the kitchen LOOKS amazing! Overall, enjoyed working with Shaked and his team but not pleased with some of the results. ETA - For what it's worth, my husband thinks they deserve a 4 star review.

We were done on time, probably 15 days total time for a full gut and remodel of a 5X10 bathroom. To say we are happy with the results is a tremendous understatement. I've had so many contractors talk to me like I'm an idiot, cut corners, make excuses/mistakes that they refuse to correct, etc. These guys do none of that. It's refreshing. And they are joyful, good human beings. That may seem inconsequential, but when you have a crew in your home for a couple months it makes a difference, especially when you work from home. And they do solid work efficiently at a reasonable price. Our first floor flooded from a backed up waste water line and we had to tear out a bathroom, a kitchen, several walls, flooring, everything. It was misery. Uriel's team rebuilt the walls, flooring, put in a new ceiling, new bathroom, and new kitchen - essentially a complete remodel of most of the living space on our ground floor. Our house was built in 1960, so we've got several more projects to do in the coming years. This will be who we hire. Without question.
