I would like to thank Ben for his professionalism. I went with this company for gutters installation; and I am super happy with the end result, and type of material used. The whole process took only hours. I highly recommend this company and will; for sure; hire them again for future improvements. Thank you again. read more

This was my first major home improvement project and biggest financial decision that I had made on my own. I was nervous and not going to lie... Anxiety took over. Ben came over, helped me with the finances, talked me through the process and most importantly calmed my nerves. After two visits, I agreed on the terms, conditions, contract and went for it. I have to say.... I was really blown away about the kindness, the honesty, the open communications and the sense of urgency that Ben, Jason and the rest of the crew displayed. They delivered what they promised. All interactions that I experienced was professional, courteous and made me feel like a valued customer. I had my deck rebuilt from scratch and it turned out beautiful and I now can enjoy a very special place that holds memories close to my heart and create more memories that makes a house into a home. read more

This company never fails me. Ben is so excellent and such a great person to work with. Ben's crew helped increase my house's curb appeal. I have two huge oak trees in my front yard that needed a trim to raise their canopies. I also had a few ugly box bushes in the front that I didn't want. I added some gray rocks and planters. My front yard looks amazing now! read more

This company is terrible They hired subcontractors that did a horrible job. Things had to be redone and my deck is still not fixed because they now will not answer the phone, return my messages or emails so I'm stuck with this awful deck. I will post some pictures Please be warned this is not a good company and they don't do good work or stand behind their warranty!! read more

Ben and Palm Construction built us a new deck with an enclosed patio, starting in the first week of January and wrapping up in a month or so. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Communication was outstanding. Ben was consistently responsive-- any time we called with a question or small concern, someone followed up promptly and came out the next day with solutions. That level of reliability made the process feel smooth and low stress. From carpenters to electricians, the work crew was professional and communicative with high level of craftsmanship. They kept the workspace clean and organized and were respectful of our home and individual schedules. Most importantly!! The finished project is exactly what we wanted, and tbh, even better. It has completely transformed our backyard. Thank you Ben and crew!!! read more

Long on promise, short on delivery. And don't plan on talking with the workers who speak little English. Interpreters available through Project Manager who appears occasionally vice daily as promised during contracting. They were flexible with the project but price kept increasing and a 10 day project turned into a 20+ day endeavor. Also, don't expect trash to be taken care of daily. My front yard still has residue nearly a month later. Such is my experience; I hope others had better. read more

Shortly after posting my initial Yelp review, I received a call from Debbie, Palm Construction's QA manager. While she expressed concern about our experience, it quickly became clear that the primary reason for reaching out was to protect the company's reputation--not to resolve the issues. Debbie said she was "shocked" that we had been asked for the final 10% payment and claimed that internally it had already been decided we should keep that amount due to the poor quality of work and our experience. She told us the refund would be issued the following Monday. But then she asked if I would take down my Yelp review. I told her I was willing to update it but not remove it. That was over three weeks ago. We never received the refund, and there has been zero communication since. It now feels clear that the refund offer was never genuine--they were simply trying to "buy" the review off the platform rather than take responsibility. Since then, I've left multiple voicemails, including one about a new crack that has developed in the path--an issue that should be covered under their one-year warranty. Still no reply. The complete lack of follow-up or accountability is staggering. Palm Construction overpromises, underdelivers, and only responds when their public image is at stake. Our project was mismanaged from the start, with poor workmanship, delays, and no on-site oversight. Communication was spotty at best, and when we pushed back, the company became defensive instead of constructive. Their QA manager gave the appearance of concern, but ultimately made a hollow offer of compensation in exchange for removing our review--an offer they've since ghosted on. This company cuts corners, dodges responsibility, and demonstrates no real commitment to customer satisfaction. I would strongly urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere. Working with Palm Construction has cost us time, money, and peace of mind. read more

I would not recommend. Very dissatisfied with this company. Do your homework before hiring. These are ONLY SOME pictures of the poor workmanships of this company. I was not going to write a review and just let it go, however this is extremely upsetting since this deck is fairly new and was pricey. To have this happen is frustrating as now we have to pay for another contractor to fix this problem as the structure is not safe. We used Trex as that was recommended due to less maintenance however the clips that were supposed to be place were not. We are currently having other contractors assess the deck and we our finding out there were many clips that were supposed to be placed were not even there. All I have to say is do your homework and hire someone that actually has good reviews, warranty, communication. We learned from our mistake in not doing our due diligence. Hoping this helps someone not have to go through what we are currently having to deal with. We will make an effort to review our next contractor now that we have learned to do our research before hiring a contractor. read more

This year my husband and I bought our new home, and one of the first big projects we wanted to do was add a patio. We were nervous because this was such a special project for us, but from the very beginning this team completely blew us away. They were professional, hardworking, and so unbelievably friendly it truly felt like we were working with people who cared about our home as much as we did. Ben especially was AMAZING! He didn't just give us what we asked for he gave us so much more. He really listened to what we wanted, offered great ideas, and helped bring our vision to life in a way that was even better than we imagined. You can tell he takes so much pride in his work, and it shows in every little detail. The patio turned out absolutely stunning it has completely transformed our backyard and made our new house feel even more like "home." This was such an exciting project for us as new homeowners, and the experience could not have been better. We are beyond grateful for all the hard work, friendliness, and care this team put into making sure we were happy. We've already gotten so many compliments, and we truly couldn't be more thrilled. If you are thinking about doing a patio project, look no further this is the BEST team you could ever ask for. Ben and his crew are top-notch, and I would give them 10 stars if I could! John and his crew at Palm Construction took my lame backyard and turned it into a beautiful, useable space. It began with a sit-down where he thoughtfully listened to my vision and concerns, made sure he knew all the details, then put the plan in motion. It went beautifully, and I couldn't be happier. His crew was timely, efficient, and clean, and I'll definitely use them again. read more

Palm Construction recently completed a list of home improvements that I have been needing and wanting for years. Some things were upgrades, others repairs. Palm Construction succeeded in exceeding my expectations for all. From the first meeting, John Cohen orchestrated all the subcontractors and timelines and frequently monitored the progress. The project started and progressed faster than I ever would have thought. I was caught off guard by how ready and able John's team was. I was thinking a few months. In less than a month, John landed the final details to a huge new deck, complete new floors downstairs (both carpet and luxury vinyl), new roof, concrete walkway, custom rug and repaired cracked walls. All of the subcontractors were equally impressive including the floor specialist Jonathan. It can be stressful thinking about renovation and repair projects like this, but this is as painless and enjoyable as it can possibly get. John Cohen is very personable and super attentive. I feel like I have a new house! I couldn't be happier with the quality and professionalism. read more

Will never use this company. Had person read a sign saying no soliciting right on the door. Asked him for his card ( which is a door sign he could have hung) asked him if he saw the sign. "Yes but Well my boss said" that all I needed to hear if you can't follow simple directions there's no way I will trust your company with anything as important as my house or any projects to work on my house. This company is unbelievably disrespectful and if they want business, they can go ahead send mail or can leave their little door knocker things directly on the door without imposing or trying to talk to a person if there's a sign that says no soliciting they should be respectful of the families and their time. I encourage everybody to not use this company. I will take any business elsewhere. read more

Our rep John Cohen was awesome, he listened to what I wanted which was to up the electricity in our garage so we could plug in an extra refrigerator along with extra outlets and LED lights hanging from the ceiling. Palm Construction has not returned my last call from a few weeks ago. I hired them to do a lot of renovations to my home. The contract stated that the ceilings would be scraped and painted. They just painted over the existing texture and told me they didn't need scraping. My realtor said I should talk to Palm and fix this. Secondly, they painted over my new lifetime guaranteed gutters I specifically told them not to. Debbie said my gutters had black mold! First I ever heard of this! Told me it looked better than if they hadn't painted them! I didn't think this was true and told her so. She said they had pictures. I said I like to see these pics, but she still has not responded. Thirdly, I told them I didn't think they rewired my house sufficiently because I often trip the new electrical fuse box they updated for me. I ruined 2 electric space heaters last year. Fourth, the water in my master bath smells bad. They installed 2 new sinks. It started smelling a couple of weeks after installation. I pointed it out to them, but they said they smelled nothing. Finally, a year later, after I called with a complaint list, they agreed to send someone out again. They took note of some of the electrical issues. They fixed an outdoor electrical outlet that I still can't use because the cover won't open. So much for Xmas lights. Fifthly, the wood beadboard they suggested would make my hall bath look gorgeous was pieced together poorly. The seams and cuts are quite visible. Sixthly, the exterior paint job on the trim in one area looks very bad. They just painted over a very bad trim board without replacing it. I am from an educated family. My father built 4 homes. My ex was a remodeling contractor who worked directly with some of Austin's top architects. I know what quality is supposed to look like. I am pissed! read more

I recently bought an older house that needs some work. Totally inexperienced, I was nervous about what I was about to get into. From the very first meeting with Josh from the Palm Construction, I felt relieved and confident that I can do this. 3 weeks later, we've removed the popcorn ceiling, replaced all the carpet with vinyl tiles, repainted the entire interior, repainted the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, repainted the covered patio and the concrete surface around the swimming pool, and also fixed the leaking patio roof. The final result is even better than I imagined. Now I have a completely updated home that puts smile on my face everywhere I look. Josh and his team were not only professional but also incredibly approachable and attentive. They took the time to really understand my vision and my budget, offered thoughtful suggestions and adjustments that improved the final outcome. Throughout the project, I felt like a partner in the process rather than just a client. Thank you, Josh, for making this such a positive experience. Palm came out for a bid on my patio, I requested some other estimates for future jobs in my backyard as well. Working with Ben as the project manager is very straightforward, no games, and always honest with me about timelines. They gave me a fair price, it was not the cheapest, but given their specialization in TREX it was well worth it for their expertise. Horrible quality of work and communication. Project ongoing for over a year. I'm seriously considering suing them.

Their guy came by to give me an estimate on a fence and I was excited to get one. However, when the scheduler called, they asked if I wanted to get the neighbors to contribute and I indicated yes, but they hadn't moved in yet. They said they couldn't give me an estimate until I had the neighbors there to hear their sales speech. Guess what, I could afford to pay for the fence myself if needed and the estimate is supposed to be good for 6 months. Seems like they want to do time -share tactics. Its a fence for goodness sakes. Already getting ick from this company so no thank you. read more

My contractor, Nate, came and looked at the garage floor and said that I had his word that he would make it right. True to his word, a different worker came today and gave me the floor that I was expecting. It looks amazing and I am so happy with it. I worked with John Cohen (AKA: "RAZ") the sales representative. He was a fellow military veteran, so we hit it off immediately. He represented his company well. I explained I was looking to add an extension to my existing patio cover. We discussed my vision, and he suggested a metal roof versus a tile roof, and he explained why. He offered me some very attractive finance options which made moving forward a "no-brainer". We encountered a few bumps in the construction process, and John was eager to resolve the issues that came up. Even though it didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped, John did his best to keep me happy. Now that the job is done, I am happy to have the project completed. I am getting a lot of compliments on the finished addition. The ceiling of stained Cedar is very nice and the fan and lighting are great. The destination was worth it, but the journey was a bit bumpier than I would like. I'm glad John was there to offer assistance and clarification when I needed it. He's a very good man! read more
