The nightmare that is our experience with Daniel began over a year ago. Not only does our pool remain unfinished, our entire yard is completely unusable and in a state of disrepair. Necessary permits were not secured and requests for inspection reports ignored. We are now trying to undo the problems he created in this build. Despite collecting over 95% of the contract price, he abandoned the job leaving a significant amount of work undone. Specifically, they did not finish plastering, backfilling, electrical, plumbing, coping, decking, inspection, lighting, fencing or clean up. Here are just a few of the issues we experienced: (1) dishonesty; (2) no project management - random workers would come and go without any oversight and frequently without notice leaving us to try to muddle through instructions without plans or direction; (3) lack of responsiveness - as soon as the contract was signed and the first check in hand Daniel was difficult to get in touch with frequently leaving messages unanswered for days/weeks; (4) scheduling issues -- despite repeated promises they did not hit deadlines and constantly pushed back work, the excuses for which becoming increasingly far-fetched as time went on (5) deviation from design and missteps; and (6) lack of worker/subcontractor controls.

If however you dont care about your safety and the life of your family, hire this company. You've been warned. Adrian and his company will steal from their customers and request money upfront. Once the money is collected, watch them ghost you with excuses on why your project is being delayed and give excuses about having covid, kid being sick, having an accident, blah blahetc. Then everything goes downhill after that. After collecting thousands of dollars, and after running out of excuses, the work was only 20% complete and everything they did was so wrong. Everything had to be demolished. They are currently being sued by my attorney. 1. He claims he builds outdoor kitchens. That is a lie. He hasnt built an outdoor kitchen and him.and his crew has no idea. He may have done basic landscape that anyone can do. Do not take any chances. He is a liar and scams people. See below why I say that. 1. He poured the extended concrete wrong without taking into account any pitch so water was pooling in the center of the slab. Then he did not use rebar to anchor the concrete to the original foundation so as it started to settle, the tiles started to shift 2. He didnt have the right tools to cut the tile which he was supposed to lay on top of the foundation right. 3. He didnt prepare the grout right 4. He was supposed to lay a walkway paver which should be the minimum his team could do because he claims he's a landscaping company, that was the worse I have ever seen. The pavers were cut crooked. And the gravel had a mix in of different sizes. 5. He built the firepit with cement blocks that were not fire retardant and they didnt even use a level because a 6 year old showed up and asked why the firepit was crooked. See photos. He didn't connect burner to the firepit 6. The outdoor kitchen was not completed. And the worse part was they left the tiles sitting as if installed to fool me the homeowner. It wasn't until I stepped on it and noticed movement and realized it was just cut without it being laid with thinset 7. He didnt finish the brick in the bar area 8. He didn't install the cooking sink water( connected it to the sprinkler system which is the dumbest thing I've seen causing my entire backyard to be flooded and running up my water bill 9. The worse part was when he left all the material tossed in someone else's property. Him and his crew ate made made a mess and literally had left over food and maggots growing inside the brand new appliance box that had my appliances in them. 10. Adrian has no respect for his customer' s property. Who puts trash and leftover food in a brand new box containing appliances needed to complete the project and leaves the customer site in such a disarray??? I had to pay a cleaning company to come clean up after their disgusting mess. Then Adrian chews tobacco and spits all over your lawn and yard The most dangerous part was him connecting the gas line using pipes and connections that are not meant to be used for gas lines. He's not a licensed plumber so what makes him think he could do what he did and put the lives of my family at risk is bryond me. In summary him and his team by their negligence wanted to blow up my house and my family. If you want your home and the safety of your family at risk, hire him and watch him literally steal from you under the pretense of being a contractor and destroy your home and property. However, when our housekeeper inspected the system a few days later, it was clear that the problem persisted. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the company through texts and calls, requesting them to honor their commitment and rectify the issue, our pleas fell on deaf ears. There was a complete lack of responsiveness and accountability from their side. This situation not only resulted in financial loss but also in wasted time and effort trying to resolve a problem that should have been fixed from the start.

After getting several quotes, we chose Georgetown Fence & Deck to install an ornamental metal fence…read moreat our new home. Pricing was similar to another vendor, but Georgetown won out because they seemed better equipped to work with our restrictive HOA to navigate approval for a puppy picket fence. Their responsiveness and ability to fast-track paperwork gave us confidence--and they did deliver on that. We wanted a rackable puppy picket design, which most companies couldn't accommodate. After some searching, Ken (the owner) located a sample panel that seemed perfect. He showed it to us in person and said he could weld a fence to of that type for a small surcharge. We signed, paid a 50% deposit, calendared a date, and believed we were set. The very next day after paying our deposit, Ken informed us the sample panel was unavailable nationwide, with no new stock for months. Already under contract with him and having to let our dogs out on leash for a month, we reluctantly settled for his only other option: a standard rackable fence with puppy mesh. Ken did reduce the price to reflect the substitute panels, but charged full price for the puppy mesh. Given the frustration of losing out on the fence we'd waited for, comping or at least discounting the puppy mesh would have shown goodwill. Instead, we paid for something less than what we bargained for; a compromised design that's a challenge for yardwork. Our neighbors (also Ken's customers) have shared their displeasure with weed-eating their side of the puppy mesh with us on more than one occasion. To their credit, our installation went smoothly without a hitch and on time. Georgetown uses a blend of Portland and quick-set cement so the job is done in a single day. That worked for us, though some might prefer posts to set up overnight. By mid-afternoon, our fence was in place. Still, the end product was not without flaws. The fence looks good from a distance, but, up close, some welds are inconsistent, and a few welds are incomplete with visible holes. The gate hardware was bare minimum--no self-closing hinges, no key-locking latch. When I later asked about upgrading the gate hardware at my expense, Ken dismissed it as no longer possible and told me I didn't need it. Meanwhile, our neighbor's installer provided higher-quality hardware as standard. This was our first metal fence, and we relied heavily on Ken and his experience for guidance. In hindsight, it felt like we weren't offered the best options. There were also issues with our sprinkler system made obvious by the fence installation. Ken hinted before the contract that he could help if our builder misplaced irrigation heads relative to the property line, which happens often. Sure enough, our builder's irrigator missed the property line on several heads. When I called, Ken's only suggestion was to "call the builder yourself." It all worked out in the end, but the help implied up front was ultimately not what we would have hoped. After two months, rust was already showing at several welds. Nothing catastrophic, but disappointing because that means painting over the weld spots was inconsistent. I'll just touch it up myself rather than engage in another conversation. Maintenance is on me, sure, but after only three months? In the end, Georgetown delivered a decent fence at a fair price--just not the one we contracted or the quality expected. Scheduling was quick, and installation was efficient. However, the hit-or-miss welding and paint quality, budget-grade hardware, and limited assistance on sprinkler issues left us underwhelmed. Even their HOA connections ended up moot since the fence they ultimately installed didn't require pre-approval. And while Ken did adjust our project total to reflect materials actually used when the original materials fell through, paying full price for the less desirable puppy mesh solution we never wanted left us with a bad taste. Would I say don't use Georgetown Fence & Deck? No--they're competent, reliable, and can get the basic job done. But if you do, no matter who you go with: 1. Get written confirmation the materials you want are in stock before paying a deposit. 2. Do your research and nail down every detail up front in writing. Don't assume options will be available later. 3. Get promises in writing and in your contract. In short, for a functional standard metal fence installed quickly at a reasonable cost Georgetown Fence & Deck is fine. Look elsewhere if you desire higher quality workmanship or more flexibility in design and feature choices.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They don't stand behind their work…read more Silver Creek replaced my roof last year. In the process, they ruined the ceiling of my outside patio by using nails that punctured the whole ceiling leaving pock marks all over the surface. To fix the issue caused by Silver Creek roofers, Colten Husband, owner of Silver Creek, had his crew install INTERIOR paneling on my OUTSIDE patio ceiling to cover the nail holes. Interior materials are clearly intended for INSIDE and not OUTSIDE use especially in severe climates like Texas. Naturally, the materials started falling apart quickly after installation. We asked Colten to fix the issue several times and he refused. We have had three contractors come to review the work and all of the gasped at the poor work Silver Creek did to our patio including using interior materials on an outdoor patio as well as the poor installation. Due to Silver Creek's error ruining my patio ceiling, we are forced to fix the damages they caused. Beware of companies that don't stand behind their work.

We wanted a metal roof to replace our shingles and we worked with him to select the right color and specs. I will tell you that Colten honored every commitment he made. If we we wanted something adjusted, or changed, he made it happen without any hesitation. I can tell you that there are more SCEC signs in our neighborhood than any other roofer, so that in and of itself should tell you something.
