Needed to redo the fence since it was falling down and broken in a few places. BC had a really competitive offer, and working with Dusty who was very responsive and professional made it easy. We did a walk through before and after and he explained the work and answered any questions i had. He even took on extra work (for a fee of course) of removing old structures and hauling it away. It had been two years since my fense was installed and I noticed that one section was pulling away from the fense due I guess to warping. I called the company about the issue and sent them a photo. They sent someone out the next day and fixed the issue. The tech also adjusted the gate while he was here. I normally wouldn't have bothered then with this and would have repaired it myself but due to health issues those things are hard for me now. Rain storms with winds earlier this year really did a number on my side fence. When the sun finally came to stay, I tried fixing the fence myself and realized its pretty bad. That's when I started to find a contractor to fix/replace my fence. I called 7 businesses and got excuses or no callback from 4. BC Fence was one that did call me back in a timely manner. My first impression was from Debbie who called me back. Friendly, helpful, humorous. To the owner, Give this woman a raise. She made me want to do business with BC. Debbie set me up with Vince, who called and came to work up an estimate. By chance, Vince was from the town next to mine growing up in New Jersey. Yep, a brother from another mother. Vince measured and explained what they would do. He gave me a quote and I told him I was waiting for two more quotes. After getting them, BC was the highest but I liked their people the best. I called Vince and told him the other quotes but I wanted to work with them and he worked better number to match the middle bid. Communications is key and Vince kept me informed as to the date they would be there. He said 8:30 on August 2nd and they arrived at 8:40, pretty close. Vince introduced me to the two guys who would be doing the work. They started the tear down while Vince talked to me. They were half done with the tear down in no time. They asked if they could remove some branches of my crepe myrtle in the corner of my property. I agreed. Vince also suggested moving the gate. Currently it is water meter, gate and AC compressor. They could move the gate to the left close to the fence line and not be inline for an obstacle course. Yes, perfect. They were done close to 2:30 and Vince returned. I gave him my check and noticed they used metal posted. More sturdy and enduring than wood. They cleared away the old fence and left. I will definitely use then again. Not a perfect 5 because after they left, I notice the pile of crepe myrtle branches I had to move before my mowers showed up. read more

We talked to 4 different contractors about installing a custom gate on our driveway, with a pedestrian entrance as well as a bigger opening, and the contractors' ideas ranged as far as the price estimates. Kevin with BC had an idea that went above my expectations, integrating a design from elsewhere on the property and the illusion of a 3rd door to make it all symmetrical. Best of all, his estimate was a quarter of the price of the 2nd-best design! He honored his price estimate even though I took 90 days to seal the deal, and he had the final project installed in less than a month even though everyone was saying the wait for powder coating would be 4-6 weeks after the construction was done. I was impressed with how quickly Kayla came out to inspect the job to give me an estimate. Unfortunately after her visit, I never heard from her again, even after sending an email requesting the estimate. If she didn't want the job, she could have told me that. After posting this review, the company contacted me. They wanted to understand what went wrong. They made a mistake in my email address and the email inquiry I made went to the recipient's junk box. I still think they could have done better with getting me an estimate. I hope the fact finding they did to find out what went wrong with my estimate will improve the estimate process. read more

TLDR; quick installation, doesn't age well. Used BC Fence a couple of years ago to extend the fence of my new home. The original fence was only a couple months old, so instead of replacing the entire fence, they just added onto the existing fence. I was told the wood BC Fence used was the same as the original so I anticipated similar wear and tear (after sealing). Initial installation was fine but over the last 2 years the BC Fence portion has become a mess. There's loose pickets with nails showing, an entire portion of the fence is starting to detach from the post, leaning. But the builders fence still looks new.
