Absolute recently installed over 700 lft of black iron fencing; did a great job....very pleased with the quality of their work. Craig was timely with his communications and daily updates on the work scope. Trust the positive reviews. Have already recommended Absolute to others in our neighborhood. Enjoyed working with Craig on our project! read more

Outstanding service from start to finish. My friends' fence was knocked down during the microburst last May, so I helped them get it replaced while they were away this summer. Craig Jolicoeur was so responsive, thoughtful and meticulous that you'd think it was his own fence that was going up. He didn't waste my time like others did with endless and irrelevant questions. He was straight to the point, efficient, and always friendly. The fence and gate look terrific and my friends are delighted. Good value, too. While Absolute Fence didn't submit the cheapest quote, I knew I was getting quality materials and finish for a great price. read more

I should have done this review a very long time ago and time slips away. This guy was given pictures and a clear description of exactly what is wanted beforehand. He showed up entirely unprepared then lied about 8 foot fences in Austin, I have stopped by several homes with 10 foot fences and I was showed the permit. He then decided to give me an absurd quote of $50K for a quarter acre lot. Just say you do not want to do the job or better yet read the specs beforehand and do not bother wasting people's time with absurd and beyond outrageous quotes. No one this absurd changes behaviors, use the company at your own risk. read more

Our back fence was falling down and the neighbor's dog could jump over it, so we knew we needed a new fence. A friend recommended Absolute Fence and told us how fast they were at replying, how they were the right mid-budget choice, and that they were friendly. So it was a no-brainer. We inquired with them and got a response within 24 hours. On the day of the install (which was a couple of weeks after the assessment, as their schedule was booked until then), they showed up on time and within the first hour had torn down the old fence and started installing the new. We got 8-foot high fence for privacy and to make sure the neighbor's dog couldn't jump it; my husband also requested that the fence be installed "backwards" aka we would see the railing and poles. It's a gorgeous fence!! Will show before and after pictures. Thanks guys, love the work! read more

Beyond happy with the experience working with Travis and the entire team at Absolute fence. Called for a quote, fully expecting their price to be high and it wasn't - actually well below what I had in mind. Travis fully explained the quote and construction process to me over the phone. He sent detailed pictures so I knew exactly what to expect, came out and met with me to make sure everything was ready to start construction. All along the way, Travis kept in contact with me letting me know when things would happen. Construction was perfect, crew showed up, we had a quick facetime to make sure we were all on the same page and they finished up the same day. Travis checked in again to make sure I was happy with the job and if I needed anything else. New fence is amazing, quality workmanship and materials, so happy I found this company. I can't say enough about the level of customer service Travis & team provide, highly recommend them for your project. read more

Summary: Travis, Amanda, Cade, and his team provide a fast, affordable, quality, and total turnkey solution for our automated gate. Bidding, construction, and gate commissioning were a breeze. All team members were extremely professional, knowledgable, and responsive. Detail: We reviewed four companies in the Austin area for a fence extension and automated gate for security purposes. Absolute Fence & Gate were outstanding to work with: they came in cheaper than all other alternatives, were the most responsive with clear communication, and were very knowledgable about the options within our space. Amanda was extremely responsive and helped us scope out our initial ask to coordinate an onsite bid walk quickly and helped sort out billing. Travis helped develop our initial concept for a gate into an efficient, turn-key solution that would abide by local codes and fit within our budget. After clarifying our scope, the project was completed at a lightning pace. They staggered the required demo of our old fence until the day they'd be able to erect the fencing to minimize the amount of time our house was exposed to the street. The work crews were very professional and Travis and his team clearly explained the scope each day and progress updates. In addition, Cade and the gate operator crew were outstanding. They set up the motor and made sure all items were functional tested. They did a terrific job commissioning the equipment and explaining how to use it. The commissioning team also noted that our gate operator had a minor issue and contacted the manufacturer for a same-day under warranty solution. The level of service was outstanding, and I was very pleased to have a total turnkey solution. During the construction, Travis would check in with the teams and ensure quality work which resulted in zero punch items at final walk. Travis even performed a final QA check on the operator to make sure operation was up to their quality standard. Every team member was very knowledgeable and professional. They provided excellent advice and suggestions and helped us craft our gate idea into a solution with a terrific product! read more

AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Absolute Gate and Fence. I obtained 4 different estimates and the other companies. None of the other companies handled this process as well. Craig (Project Manager) was professional, matter of fact, made recommendations but wasn't pushy and communicated extremely well. The crew that did the work was professional, efficient and very thorough. They worked quickly and my property was spotless when they were done. I would recommend this company for any fence project you might have. Most people know this process can be stressful in the hopes that you receive quality service and quality product. I received both. Thank you for your service and I'll be recommending you to anyone that asks! read more

I looked into 7 fence companies and contacted several to give me estimates. I needed the posts replaced and about 110' of fence straightened. Some fence companies said my job was "too small." Absolute Fence stood above all the others. They came and provided an estimate quickly and the cost was reasonable compared to others. The Program Manager, Craig, provided sound advice and did not cut corners. Both my neighbor and I are delighted with how the fence looks now. I would use Absolute Fence again and recommend them highly. read more

Craig and the team did a wonderful job on our fence. We had a difficult situation with our neighbor that they handled with grace. friendly and honest! Great at communicating and worked efficiently! our fence looks amazing.

We had one side of our fence replaced (to start) and Travis and his crew did a fantastic job! From the initial bid up to the install, Travis was very communicative and worked with us and our neighbor who was paying half. The crew showed up promptly every day, kept their work area neat and really did a perfect job on our fence. They even had to work with large trees right on the fence line and it looks great. We could not be more pleased. We will be using them on the rest of our fence soon and highly recommend them. read more

Great work. Fast. Made my project look easy. It's just a cedar fence. The workmanship was exellent. The fence boards were installed with no gaps. The nailing was almost artwork. The two guys that put up our fence are very experienced. Made one call for a quote. It was fair. I thought it was so fair, i did not look for a quote from another contractor. We asked them to go ahead. They emailed me an invoice for materials to get started. Set a date to install within a week. They showed up on time and got it done in a day easily. About 90' of 8' cedar fence on very steep terrain. They worked independently and finished before 4pm. Great work. Great value. Easy as a phone call. read more

He gave great advice and proposed a fence I hadn't considered in order to better match our house and deck. It works perfectly. Extremely professional team at Absolute Fence. Communication was excellent and timely. Craig was great to work with and took time to answer questions and discuss options for the fence. It's clear to me how AF&G has 5-stars. Great communication, perfect execution, and excellent craftsmanship. The fence around my house has been in long disrepair, and I got tired of going out at 11pm in rain and wind to fix it. I hit up Absolute Fence & Gate and Travis came out quickly to give me a quote. Travis is our guy. I trust him and you should too. I literally tried to give him more business asking for additional fencing and he rejected it. He told me he would be happy to take my money but truly did not think I needed the extra fencing. The work was done well but had some issues. Travis came back to inspect and agreed there were issues. Another repair visit was scheduled and the work done to our satisfaction. We were not even asked about final payment until Travis confirmed we were satisfied. Fyi: We sought and received 8 estimates from different companies. Travis was not the least expensive but was far from the most expensive. Highly recommended. read more

Great work! Very responsive and communicated updates well. They offered a competitive price and did the job quickly.

Absolute Fence & Gate has spoiled me for future contractors. They did a fabulous job removing my old, damaged fence on all three sides of my backyard (approx. 200 ft.), and replacing it with a stunning 6' cedar shadowbox. Of the three fence companies I interviewed, I chose AF&G not just because of their fair price, but because they offered identical materials and installation as the other two fence companies whose estimates were $2K and $4K MORE than AF&G's quote. Not only that, AF&G gives a year's warranty on materials and workmanship. Connor Bell was an awesome project manager, and his team of installers--Alfredo and Noé--were superb!! The fence is beautiful on both sides, providing air circulation and light, and it has made me the envy of the neighborhood. I can honestly recommend Absolute Fence & Gate as a skilled and reputable company. read more

Connor, our project manager came through at every turn. I asked for a 5-foot fence. Absolute Fence got about ¼ done when I realized we needed more privacy. Connor had them take down all the 5-foot planks and redo. He charged only the materials and labor, no profit. Several weeks after completion, Connor came over to check and replace any planks that had changed position after the wood dried. While here he found a sprinkler pipe that had been broken when a plank was pushed down. He pointed it out and said to send him the invoice for repair. I did, and Absolute Fence took care of it. Finally, during the same follow up visit, there was a section where our small dog might have been able to dig under. Connor had dirt brought in and filled the whole area. We've had 2 fences built before. No company, and no project manager has come close to the quality of service Absolute Fence and Gate gave us. The fence and gates work perfectly and look beautiful. I'd recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

5 stars all around. Customer service, craftsmanship, quality. We couldn't be happier with our fence. Travis and his crews were great. We had another company come out to give us a quote before calling Absolute. I could tell while the representative was here that he didn't have much interest in doing what we wanted. He kept trying to change our mind on design. It took him 10 days to get a quote to us, some of the details were wrong, and the price was really high. Travis came out, knew exactly what we wanted, didn't try to change the design, and got us a quote the same day. It was nearly half the price of the other quote and it was exactly what we wanted. We even had room in our budget to add an electric gate. He gave us some recommendations along the way that we loved and went with. Travis either came out or at least called every day while his crews were here to give us updates. Incredible customer service. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. read more

Like everyone else, it seems, I had a great experience with Absolute Fence & Gate. I had kind of expected that I would go with a company that was recommended by those in our neighborhood, but I went on Yelp and requested a quote from Absolute Fence. Then I did that thing where you can click a button on Yelp and get quotes from several other companies. Some companies just emailed me quotes based on my description of what I wanted. Craig came out and did the measurements and, without any pressure of upselling, offered a suggestion for a third rail which he included as a separate item on the quote. After getting several good quotes, I went with Absolute Fence. I was highly influenced by all the great reviews they had on Yelp. I was not disappointed. The process went very smoothly despite some drizzly days. Craig and the guys were great and I am very happy with the outcome About a week after they finished the job, I noticed there were two boards that were sticking out at the bottom. They had not been nailed in on the bottom rail. I hesitated to contact Craig because it was such a minor thing, but all throughout the process, he had stressed that I should let him know if there were any issues. So I did and he was out the next day to make it right. He apologized for not catching the error on his final review. From my perspective, it was two boards out of almost 500 - I don't know how you would catch something like that if the boards weren't sticking out a bit (like they were a week later when I noticed them). The point is Craig was more than willing to come by and make it right, regardless of how minor the oversight. read more

Craig and his crew did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond to make sure the new fence looked great, and ensure it will last a long time - including having to jackhammer through limestone on pretty much every post to set it correctly. They also did some extras for us to patch up a portion of our neighbor's fence on the other side that wasn't replaced. I really appreciated the quality of work, the communication throughout, and the effort they put into the job. Would recommend to anyone in Austin. read more

Absolute fence did a great job with our fence replacement earlier this summer. Connor was our project manager and the whole process from quote to installation was fantastic. We have used Travis and his team twice now. First, we had him replace and expand our existing 8 foot gate into a 10 foot gate. We have had the gate for over a year and a half without any issue. Makes backing up our toys into the backyard so much easier. We asked for his help again to replace over 160 ft of fence line. We did get multiple bid since it was a larger project and Absolute Fence & Gate was very competitive. Since we had used them prior it was enough to move forward and are glad we did. He was very responsive and timely. I really appreciated the communication during and after the project. All said and done we are very happy with this company and will use them again. read more

Absolute did a great job for me on my fencing. My neighbor referred me to them. I was having fencing replaced across the back of the yard and two smaller sections with gates in the front. Craig came out and gave me a bid. The price was reasonable. He explained how they had to build certain types of fencing. The lead time was to start was reasonable. They were able to complete all the work in just two days. The workers were skilled at what they do and were friendly. There was a bit of a miscommunication on one aspect of the project, but Craig made it right, right away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Absolute. There will be issues from time to time, and the true test of a company is how they handle things when issues come up. Absolute did right by me and I am totally pleased with my beautiful new fencing! read more
