Highly Recommend Sierra Fence! We recently worked with Sierra Fence to install a new fence at our home, and they were fantastic from start to finish. Christian and his crew were professional, efficient, and delivered high‑quality work that really upgraded the look and privacy of our property. Communication was easy, the pricing was fair, and the craftsmanship shows in every detail. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and the finished product speaks for itself. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy fence company, I highly recommend Sierra Fence. We couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Had them come out to provide an estimate on a fence repair or replacement. Gave very clear instructions on what I did and did not want, spending well over an hour in-person and more time in straightforward follow-up questions. Basically ignored half of my requests and didn't answer the most straightforward questions (that every other fence installer provided, no questions asked). Multiple times, stopped responding, and after I reached out again, said they would get back, but didn't. Don't waste your time. read more

Richard Novigrod with Sierra Fence did a great job at our neighborhood park. His crew installed a nice 8 foot steel fence for us to stop trespassers from entering at night. He really worked with us to make sure it looked good and would be easy for our community to maintain and operate. Richard was very conscientious when welding at the edge of our forest. He said he would not weld during windy conditions, but the day he was welding it was calm and he used a hose to wet the ground around the welder. It was a positive experience from start to finish. read more

If you're looking for a company to replace or install a new fence, look no further than Sierra Fence! These folks understand customer service, communications and customer input. Working with Christian was a pleasure. We got one other quote from a well known company and Sierra blew them away. Highly recommended! read more

I recently had a fence done by Sierra Fence. Christian and his team were the utmost professionals and had me comfortable every step of the build to make sure I would absolutely love the final product. Can't speak highly enough about this family owned company, they truly deserve your business! read more

Sierra fence did an excellent job from start to finish. Richard, the owner, came out and did the free inspection, gave us quote within a day, and made sure we understood what the cost covered and what would be done. We, on the other hand, changed our minds and requested a completely different kind of fence after we got his estimate. He just re-did the estimate for the new type and sent it back, again, within a day. The crew showed up on the day indicated, and took down our old fence in one day, then returned the next day and installed our 120' fence. It turned out just the way we wanted and looks beautiful. They cleaned up after themselves too. His bill was exactly what he quoted. We highly recommend Richard and Sierra fence. read more

We had an iron fence installed. Sierra fence was Great to work with. Best pricing and hard workers.

Horrible craftsmanship. We were made to believe it would be an experienced group of fence builders. These guys had no idea what they were doing (or if they did, then there was a huge lack of pride in the work.) Upon close inspection of our newly built fence my neighbor even asked "Are you sure they were a proper fence company?" Our fence is just under two years old now, the gates have never worked properly and the gap between each panel is so far apart the whole idea of privacy that we thought we'd be getting out of an 8ft fence seems like a joke and huge waste of money now. We asked them to return to fix several mistakes made in the sloppily built panels and gates and each time they ended up putting "bandaids" on them- nothing that has withstood the test of time like a quality made fence would have. The lumber they used was beautiful- what they did with it was not. Go with someone- anyone- else. You'll regret choosing this company. read more

Sierra Fence and Richard were wonderful to work with. We were provided great suggestions on fencing that would compliment or property, and we are so pleased with our new fence. We have even had a couple of neighbors stop by to ask who the builder was. I highly recommend Sierra Fence! read more

I tried to obtain a bid but was unsuccessful. They came out, measured, said they would email me with a quote and I never heard. I followed up multiple times and never got a reply. Moved on read more

Sierra Fence has my highest endorsement for your next fence project. I am a developer and general contractor with 40 years of experience in the industry, and Sierra is the best fence contractor I've ever experienced. I observed them installing my neighbors fence and was so impressed with the quality and their pace, I asked them to provide a quote for my property. The proposal was quick, fair and very reasonable. They showed up when they said they would (rare these days) and executed the work promptly and did what they said they would do (another rare attribute). Their crew was professional and cleaned up after their work. I will not hesitate to call up Sierra Fence for my next project. read more

My neighbor found this company to replace our shared fence. I let him choose, which was a mistake. The craftsmanship was terrible. I had to have them come out and redo my side, including lowering the fence to fill in the 4.5" gaps. The patchwork that they initially used for the gate was a mystery. They might be the lowest bid you get but that is not always the best bid. read more

I used Sierra Fence last year and loved everything about my experience. I had them do part one of a multi part project. I have been ready to continue with part two for sometime and have texted, called and emailed and have not gotten a response from anyone in months! Super frustrating. I even had a fence emergency where I needed a small portion taken down when my well went out and still received NO reply! So upsetting. I have no idea if they have gone out of business or what. Has anyone else been able to reach them? read more

I just finished a 6 month building project that took 12 months. I have worked with dozens of contractors during that process and been frustrated more than not. Sierra Fence was a bright spot in this journey. They accommodated a quick install to prepare for a birthday party we were hosting and came back out to help lift a gate after the driveway was installed higher than it was supposed to be. The crew worked super hard and it was amazing to see them work. Very gifted at their trade. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. read more

So we recently moved to Austin Tx and bought a house with a couple of Acres of land. This was shortly followed by my wife deciding to rescue a German Shepard from a local charity. Even quicker was the realization we needed a fence and quick to contain her due to her strong desire to wonder and chase the deer. I had never really undertaken a project so large and decided to do my homework thoroughly by getting quotes from several vendors in the area. Initially I was really disappointed as I had a survey map of the property and wanted to fence in all but the front garden. EVERY single vendor came and tried to spin their wheel over the dead tree's in the garden getting wildly different measurements. Richard was the first one to look at the map and realize he could measure the front garden and deduct that from the survey reading. Such a simple idea but it really showed me he was on his A game. Next, we walked up to the back of the garden to find the corner markers. I knew where one was but couldn't find the other. Richard looked at the map, paced out the approximate distance (again over dead tree's) and stopped within 2 ft of the marker that was hidden. This man clearly knew what he was doing. As the bids came in I was really set on going with Richard but was worried his price would be too high as he has been the most professional of all who quoted. This was not the case and he was able to offer a very competitive price which we agreed to move forward with. We had a ton of dead tree's needing clearing and Richard put us in contact with another company to get a quote. In the end we decided to tackle this ourselves as it was the perfect excuse to buy a new chainsaw! Richard was very understanding that this would take us longer and put absolutely zero pressure on trying to move us along to get the job started it was all on our pace. We finally had the garden cleared and scheduled a date for Richards crew to come out and start work. His team were here on time and got to work immediately drawing a string line along where we would be placing the fence. I was offered to come and inspect it and agree I was happy with it. They then began to dig the post holes in the rock. It really is solid rock in the garden and it didnt deter these guys. They were able to dig and set the posts for 1150ft of fence in 2 days which was incredible. We then switched things up on Richard and asked for an additional vegetable garden fence to be laid which was absolutly no issue to him. One thing that really impressed me was that when they were doing the fence there was a mistake made where one post was set slightly too far from the next (talking cm's) and they could have put an extension on the panel and took the easy way but instead they dug out the old post, moved the hole, set a new post and got it perfect. The team was fantastic and so polite and courteous. Our rescue dog is extremely fearful of men and we suspect she has had a bad past with them but Richards team were so accommodating and gave her space. We are now in a position where we have an amazing fence that goes over some crazy terrain and they done a fantastic job. Our dog is now contained and can spend her hours roaming the garden and enjoying the sunshine. I really couldn't recommend Richard enough and wanted to leave this review as token of my appreciation and let others know how great he is. If you are sitting on the fence (pun intended) about choosing Sierra Fence you will honestly not be disappointed in the slightest at the quality of service and product you will get. read more

Working with Richard (who owns the company) was a joy. He did exactly what we planned, at a reasonable price. He showed up right on time every time and answered emails in a timely manner. He also sent me pictures of different options when I wasn't sure what I wanted but wanted to see possibilities. He spent a lot of time on site making sure the work was done to the highest standard. His employees were hard-working, friendly, and precise. And the final result is beautiful! I would highly recommend Sierra Fence to anyone. read more

We've had Richard and team out twice for projects around our property, and can't recommend Sierra highly enough. They've always been prompt, friendly, and the craftsmanship is truly top-notch. Our last project was a railing on our back patio for our pool area. I contacted Richard on Saturday, he was out on Monday to scope out the project, and by Friday the railing was installed and complete. We will be contacting you again soon Richard to enclose our pool equipment. The quality of work and materials Definitely improves curb appeal and by extension, value of our home. Thanks again! Look forward to working with you again soon read more

Excellent work from Frank and his team. We had to replace the fence around our entire back yard, added a couple gates and enclosed the pool equipment. Fence looks beautiful, team was easy to work with and we couldn't be happier with the results! read more

Great experience working with Sierra Fence- they made it easy (and affordable!) and my fence is great quality! Would absolutely recommend.

We had the best experience using Sierra Fence. Richard is professional, honest, and very easy to work with. He gave us a recommendation on where to put our fence that was better than what we had originally thought of and less expensive than what our original idea would have cost. We needed our fence to be a pool barrier and he knew exactly what would be needed with our challenging landscape for it to be approved by Lakeway. We are absolutely satisfied with the fence and recommend him to everyone looking for a great fence. Very high quality and zero disappointments, which was so refreshing! read more

Excellent service. Contracted Sierra Fence through the owner, Richard, to install our backyard fence in Lakeway. Everything went really well, and I highly recommend Sierra Fence to you. Richard came to the house promptly, measured, and sent me a competitive quote. He helped me troubleshoot some issues with fence placement given some construction on the adjacent property. Once I got the permit from the city, we picked a date. The crew arrived promptly on both install days. They were courteous and answered all of my questions. They were respectful of my property and time. The install required managing a very steep slope on which the fence needed to run, and the crew handled it without delay. Fence install is very professional and looks great. Very pleased. Overall, a great experience. read more

Expected more... did an okay job with the install, other than they hit and severed the marked internet cable running through my yard, causing needed repairs from my internet provider. Pickets started majorly warping/bending 3 months after installation and huge sections of the fence were pulling away from the posts. Had to follow up repeatedly to get warranty repairs completed, and when they did come out to replace some of the majorly bending areas of the fence, didn't do a great job (some of the pickets they replaced were not actually nailed to the fence rails... I've learned now that a little bit more money might've been worth the time, effort, and quality of my fence. Oh well. read more

Sierra Fence just finished my cedar bull panel fence and it is gorgeous ! WOW! WHO KNEW WHAT A DIFFERENCE a fence could make!?!? Look at the before and after photos. Awesome! I got 3 bids with options...all treated pine, pine post, all cedar, all pine, pine with cedar...Sierra had the best price on all options and the best terms. One company wanted 60% up front to get on their "list". Huh? I offered 50% start day or delivery of materials, but got a "no". Good grief, it's is a 2 day job! Sierra's terms...due upon completion! No problems whatsoever! Thank you Hector and your awesome crew! read more

Richard, the owner, answered my very first call. He came to look at the property, took very thorough measurements and worked with us patiently on some confusing survey lines. True to his word, three weeks later, the supplies had arrived and his crew worked tirelessly, professionally, with an inordinate amount of attention to detail to complete the job to our specifications. I love how the fence turned out. Could not be any more pleased. Would highly, highly, highly recommend Sierra Fence! read more

I'm writing a long overdue review praising Sierra Fence. I just had another neighbor ask me who did ours because it looks so beautiful. Everyone was very nice and the work was done on time. We highly recommend them! read more

Nope. Had an appointment at 11:00 am today for Hector to come by and provide an estimate. I texted him at 11:07 to ask his ETA, and he said he was heading back from San Antonio and would contact me when he arrived in Austin. I understand that there are family emergencies, but there is also accountability in business. All I'm saying is that a heads up would have been appropriate. I suppose the expectation was for me to just wait around, not knowing if or when he would arrive? No thank you, I'll find another fence company. read more

We just got our fence installed and couldn't be happier with the fence itself and the service provided. We were recommended Sierra Fence ( Richard) by two of our neighbors who used them for their property. We did a little over 500ft of fencing around our property and their quote beat all the others. We are completely satisfied and will recommend to our new neighbors. read more

Howdy, I just finished getting my fence installed with Sierra Fence. I called several places and got bids. For what I wanted and the size of my space I knew regardless of who I selected it would be expensive. The only thing that would set one apart from another would be quality. Enter Sierra Fence! First, we talked about the nitty gritty stuff, like type of nails that would be used (stainless steel) the type of wood options I had and why I would select one as to selecting another. I went with a horizontal fence, with black steel posts and 3/4 thick Cedar. Thicker wood, less warping and better color variation. What else set this team apart and above the others? The crew that I can only describe as artists. Not only did they work in this crazy heat without complaint and were so nice, they did an amazing job. Every day at the end of the day they cleaned up after themselves. There was no junk, trash, water bottles or nails any where. Even though I was under construction I could still use my backyard without having to see any leftover junk left in my space. Now that's considerate. I really can't say enough good things about this. I would highly recommend S.F for anyone who whats a stunning quality fence. Thank you Sierra Fence - YOU ROCK :-) read more

Hector and Sierra Fence did a solid job. Hector showed up on time and gave me a bid the same day. I got 3 different bids. Sierra and one other company were about the same. A third company was significantly higher. Once I accepted the bid, Hector scheduled me for the very next week. The crew came right at about 8 a.m. and demo-ed the old fence and set the new posts on the first day. They put up the new fence the following day. I got horizontal cedar pickets for the sections facing the street (for curb appeal) and standard vertical cedar pickets for the other sections (to save a little money). A minor situation arose with an elderly neighbor concerned about property lines, and Hector addressed it very patiently, which was above and beyond his job. All in all: 1) the fence looks good, 2) the price was competitive, 3) they showed up on time. read more

This company is superb in every way. My situation was rather unique because of the type of entryway fence I wanted. The owner, Richard, came out and as we talked, I knew for certain he was the man for the job. He's super knowledgeable and courteous, and he worked with me every step of the way regarding the design and materials. His price was competitive, and his very courteous crew worked hard and efficiently. I continue to get rave reviews from my neighbors about how beautiful the new entryway fence is. I highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed. read more

Hector and his crew did an excellent job on replacing my fence. They were professional, timely, respectful of surrounding plants/structures, and delivered a beautiful product. We got 3/4" horizontal cedar "pickets" and Hector told me he was able to obtain a thicker, superior grade of lumber from his supplier. The fence is all I could have asked for. The only hiccup was the crew left a neighbor's cable unburied, and after letting him know Hector had them back in a couple of days to bury it. Thanks Hector! read more

Part of my fence was blown down my a storm and was on its last legs in many other spots. Decided to replace the whole backyard fence. Sierra Fence was extremely responsive, polite, and explained all the options well. The job was outlined, initiated, and completed quickly and per their estimates. They even created a breakdown per section of fence that I shared amongst 5 neighbors to help me approach them about splitting the cost. I would definitely use them again in the future, but that may be a while out considering the great job they did on my fence. read more

I had to design and coordinate construction of a 130 foot run of fence on our Austin property remotely, from the West Coast, as we have relocated. I had a great experience with Sierra Fence. I had a large wrought iron fence installed around my property. Richard, the owner, was my primary contact and was onsite for a large amount of time supervising the project. Beyond happy and pleased with the entire experience! Richard is very hands on and actually came out from beginning to end of the project to ensure it all went 100% right! I was so close to going with another company and Richard simply asked that I give him a shot before I signed anything and OMG!!!! I am sooooooo glad I did. The other company had it all wrong and it would of cost our family thousands of dollars to fix the problem. Richard found our property line pins from day one (which most companies won't commit to and I get it) and that changed everything for us! He showed me personally his attention to detail and his commitment to his work! I've had quite a bit of work done lately and he is by far THE BEST! Don't even think about going with someone else! Yes, I had to wait about 6 weeks, but he was totally WORTH IT! Oh and his crew and project manager, the BEST! What an amazing experience. It also took them ONLY 2 days to have our acre lot completed. They don't mess around! Again, beyond HAPPY! read more

Sierra Fence installed a horizontal wood fence around our yard last month. They were fast, efficient, and moderately priced. We received 3 quotes from various companies, and Sierra was right in the middle in terms of price. Sierra was available immediately for a quote, and their install date was quite reasonable as well. Overall we are very happy with our fence - it is attractive and well constructed. Sierra did quality work and were very professional. read more
