Merlin and his team were awesome. Fast, great job, easy to work with and a great fence!! Several neighbors have commented. Highly recommend!

Merlin and his team SAVED THE DAY! I got about 6 or 7 quotes for my deck back in April. Landmark Fence was one of them. Unfortunately, I ended up going with a different contractor who quickly proved he didn't know what he was doing. After I decided to end that relationship, I immediately called Landmark and one other company back who had given me quotes previously. The other company couldn't find the time to get someone to come out for a re-estimate and then did not return my calls. Merlin was extremely responsive and came to give me another estimate to check out what had already been done. He originally told me mid-July and at this point it was mid to late May. Everyone was booked through July at this point, so I was willing to wait. Merlin ended up starting earlier than planned around the end of June but then I had an issue with my composite boards with Home Depot where they had to reorder my boards and wait another week. Merlin was extremely understanding and worked around the Home Depot mistake. As soon as my boards arrived, they immediately picked them up at Home Depot and finished the job within the next 1-2 days and ended on a Holiday - July 4th. They are a hard working, trustworthy, and professional team and did an absolutely outstanding job! I would definitely use them again for any fence or decking needs. I'm so glad I found them! read more

I have a beautiful new fence! Thanks to Merlin and his company. My husband and I had been hesitant to replace our fence for the longest time, being unsure of the process, cost and how long it would take. We reached out to 3 different companies and Merlin was the quickest to respond with updated quotes based on what we needed and wanted to add. The other companies seemed like they were way too busy to be bothered and made excuses for not getting back to me in a timely manner...I was so happy to have Landmark, who was responsive, affordable and took the time to answer all of our questions. When the work began, it was super fast and efficient and Merlin kept us updated every day, even though my husband and I were both busy at our full-time jobs. I couldn't be more happy with the work and experience we had with Landmark. Highly recommend their services! read more

Absolutely amazing service and fast. Upon getting quotes he was second lowest of five but the owner was the one who came by to quote it and he was very helpful and honest. There were (2) minor confusions in what was being done and he fixed both issues immediately! He was also able to come considerably earlier then he initially told me. He was also onsite during the work to make sure things went smooth. I would recommend these guys for any fencing or decking needs! read more

I can't believe the beautiful new fence I have that Merlin and his team built in less than a day. My old "fence" was really just chicken wire. It's been falling apart ever since I moved in. I was also always afraid my cat would get behind the fence. The other side was just old and looked awful. I've attached some before and after photos. I talked w Merlin about how I didn't want the back fence to be super high because I love the open feeling in the back and seeing all the birds and squirrels. He was just amazing to work with. I'm getting it stained next week, so here it is in its raw wood color, which looks so pretty. read more

We were getting quotes to install 225' linear feet of new cedar fencing. Landmark Fence and Deck was very competitive with the quote and explained options. We ultimately went with Landmark Fence and Deck for our project. From start to finish, the project was completed in three days. We could not be more pleased with the fencing. It was a breath of fresh air to have a contractor start when we were told and do exactly what we were quoted. In fact, I learned that Landmark Fence and Deck uses Western Red Cedar (USA) which will not bow like imported red cedar. Our experience with Landmark Fence and Deck was excellent! read more

Merlin and his team are awesome! We used Landmark to build a wooden deck in our backyard and we couldn't be happier! Merlin came out twice to provide quotes and worked with me to get approval from our HOA. His team was prompt and incredibly fast, finishing the deck in only a day and a half. They even added a step that we requested last minute, no problem. If you're looking for quality, professionalism, and reliability, I definitely recommend Landmark! read more

We now have a beautiful 8-foot to 6-foot cedar fence with a graceful transition between them, thanks to Merlin and his talented team! Merlin was available from first call to finished project and provided detailed pricing and options throughout. He was able to schedule our rebuild quickly and was flexible when we had a major last-minute change. The entire 184 feet was finished in 2 days! Merlin and his crew are all artists with attention to detail and precision. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Merlin at Landmark Fence & Deck! I researched many companies in Austin to find the best option to install a cedar deck on the back of my house. I was successful in finding the best option with Merlin and Landmark Fence & Deck. Not only was the pricing reasonable, but the communication, quality of workmanship and follow through throughout the whole process was incredible. This has been one of my easiest projects as a homeowner thanks to Merlin. I cannot recommend Landmark enough for any decking or fencing service you need. read more

I could not say more good things about Landmark and Merlin. Landmark built our friend's fence and I've always admired how solid and attractive it is. Unlike ours, their gates still close perfectly (ours never did). I asked Merlin to come by and have a look at our unusable gates. Instead of charging me, he did the (overwhelmingly!) honest thing and told me, in detail, *exactly* what I needed to do to fix it myself. These days just getting someone to answer the phone or (gasp!) to actually show up in Austin is miraculous. Merlin was responsive, pleasant, honest, and extremely helpful. From now on I'm trusting him with all of our fencing work. read more

Two of my neighbors and I got fence replacement quotes from Landmark and several other vendors. Merlin was very quick to respond, and answered every question we had. Not only did Landmark come in with the best quote, they did a very solid job, and came back out to address some minor issues months after the job was completed. I highly recommend this business. read more

Had a really great experience with Landmark. Of the four estimates I requested Merlin was the only one that wanted to come out and see the site in person. He came out the next day and had a very reasonable quote ready that night. His crew came out the following Monday and removed the old chain link and completed the bull panel fencing in 3 days. I was very happy with the work, all of the details we discussed were done exactly as promised and the fence turned out better than I even dreamed. The Landmark crew was respectful of our space and did an excellent clean up. I can honestly say this was one of the best contractor experiences I've had. Merlin told me he prides himself on being smaller and keeping his quality high and you can really tell when you work with him. Would (and will) highly recommend them. read more

We recently bought a home and were in need of a new fence. Through a recommendation of a close friend we called Landmark. We really had no idea what kind of fence we wanted or needed or were even aloud to have per our HOA. The team there helped us with our needs. I got a fence I couldn't have thought of myself. Due to the creativity of this company the appearance of my house is enhanced x's 100! I highly recommend Merlin and his crew. I'm giving two stars because at least Merlin replied to my Yelp inquiry and came out to get info for a quote, which is more than I can say for many, many other contractors I reached out to from Yelp and Angi. But although he came out and seems nice, Merlin never bothered to follow up or provide a quote. That has also happened with several contractors (with high ratings) who came out and then never bothered to follow up. Dint get how it makes sense to waste your time to come out and then never follow through. Guess they are all busy enough. read more

Merlin ,Caesar and their crew deserve 10 stars! They did an amazing job replacing all my fencing. Would never use anyone else!!!!! I highly recommend them. I had a great experience using Landmark Fence recently. Merlin and his team were fast, friendly, and efficient. I had received quotes from a few different companies to replace our fence line and Landmark had the best price by far. I've now had Landmark do a couple of jobs for me and they've both came out great. One was a smaller job replacing a fence post and the other was much bigger putting up a brand new fence along our back yard. Merlin gave us a super reasonable price and was very accommodating throughout the entire process. His team completed the job surprisingly fast, which was very helpful because we have dogs that need access to the yard. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a fence repair/replacement. read more

Landmark from start to finish were a dream to work with. Merlin showed up on time to survey the property. We are selling our property - Merlin was honest about what we needed to fix and about what could be repaired - he didn't try to oversell us. He provided an honest, transparent and extremely reasonable quote. He and his crew showed up on time, did really great work, were honest and respectful, and worked through freezing temps to get the fence back up for our dog and chickens. I had 5-6 companies provide bids - Landmark was hands down the best in every way. Thank you Merlin. You and your crew are good people. read more

Ended up having to cancel the appointment with this company but they get 3 stars for a quick response.

Several of my neighbors and I used Landmark Fence to construct our adjoining fences. Merlin met with the four of us to determine our needs & wants & then produced a bid to each of us for our portion of the fencing. Some of us had dogs that had to be kept inside or boarded & thus wanted the job done as quickly as possible. We set up a time schedule with him and I am so pleased to report that he delivered!! Even sooner than promised!! The quality of work is outstanding! His crew was polite and efficient! I would highly recommend Merlin and Landmark for fencing & deck building! High quality and fair pricing! We had bids from other companies, but all four of us agreed on Landmark as the best company for the job! read more
