Divine Outdoors is another business owned by Daniel Zamora and/or Raphael Zamora. The Zamoras just keep opening new businesses after the other ones get too many negative reviews or get served with too many lawsuits. Avoid Daniel Zamora at all costs (and look at the negative reviews for Tailored Pools to get a true sense of what you are dealing with when you engage with the Zamoras' businesses). The nightmare that is our experience with Daniel began over a year ago. Not only does our pool remain unfinished, our entire yard is completely unusable and in a state of disrepair. Necessary permits were not secured and requests for inspection reports ignored. We are now trying to undo the problems he created in this build. Despite collecting over 95% of the contract price, he abandoned the job leaving a significant amount of work undone. Specifically, they did not finish plastering, backfilling, electrical, plumbing, coping, decking, inspection, lighting, fencing or clean up. Here are just a few of the issues we experienced: (1) dishonesty; (2) no project management - random workers would come and go without any oversight and frequently without notice leaving us to try to muddle through instructions without plans or direction; (3) lack of responsiveness - as soon as the contract was signed and the first check in hand Daniel was difficult to get in touch with frequently leaving messages unanswered for days/weeks; (4) scheduling issues -- despite repeated promises they did not hit deadlines and constantly pushed back work, the excuses for which becoming increasingly far-fetched as time went on (5) deviation from design and missteps; and (6) lack of worker/subcontractor controls. read more

In our opinion, Divine Outdoors and the Zamora Family are unreliable, dishonest, and lacking in skill. They collected over $50,000 from us and have left our backyard in complete shambles. Retaining walls failed after only a couple months, and they used nearly 80% of the entire budget while not completing even 10% of the job. On February 14, 2019, a dump truck turned over on the road behind our house onto our back fence. Fortunately no one was hurt but we no longer had a back fence. We requested quotes for fencing to replace the back fence and decided to go with Divine Outdoors. They were able to start the work pretty quick. They set the posts first then came back the next day to finish. The work was very nice!! I appreciate the work done and the timing of completion!! No complaint with the fence itself. But, it took 3 weeks from the initial scheduled start date to complete 24' of simple privacy fence with a swing gate. The work was always done at least 3 days after I was told to expect them, and they initially built straight fence without a gate, leaving our tenant with no way to get his trash cans out for pickup. Then it took another two and a half weeks to get the gate put it, with tenant's trash piling up. Each time they said they would begin work, it did not happen on time and they did not communicate delays with me. I had to message them multiple times for updates. I understand that sometimes things happen (like irrigation emergencies at another site) but if you tell a client you will begin work on a certain day and are unable to fulfill that promise, you need to communicate with them to help manage expectations. To their credit, they reduced our bill to make up for the inconvenience, and the finished work was done well. read more

I recently purchased a high-end metal and wood fencing system from FenceTrac. The company is in Oklahoma and only provides the fencing kit. Installation must be arranged separately. I sent out a request for bid to several fencing companies in Austin. All the prices seemed very high except the bid from Divine Outdoors. My initial perception was that the Divine Outdoors price was unreasonably low. After talking to Daniel, the owner, over the phone, I invited him over to my house to meet him in person and discuss the scope of the job. After we walked the fence installation area and discussed the details of the installation, we agreed on the need to add a few more costs that would be necessary (i.e. removing the old fence, adding fence stain / sealant). Bottomline, the overall cost from Divine Outdoors was well over half the price bid by the lowest closest bidder. It took Daniel and his crew 2 days to complete the installation and it looks Awesome! They did a fantastic job. There were a few touch ups that were needed afterwards which Daniel performed gladly. The overall experience with Divine Outdoors was excellent. These are my Go-To guys from now on. They came out the day that I contacted them and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the 80 foot section of fence that needed to be replaced.
