Literal nightmare working with Moore. The siding has cracked and is falling off in multiple places…read more The company has admitted fault but has no plans to fix it or compensate. Extremely shoddy job, do not trust them. In addition, we contracted them to put in a new fence for us (at around the same time as the siding). They botched it so badly that it literally looks like 3 different fences. Again, they admitted fault, and told us that they are just walking from our contract. I feel like it is important for people to know that they are working with a company that will readily walk away from poor work rather than incur the cost to fix it.

READ CAREFULLY AS THIS IS NOT A 5 RATING IT IS A 1 AND IF I COULD GIVE A MINUS 10 RATING I WOULD I…read moreposted a review last month and gave these guys a rating of 1 and it is not showing under reviews. just another example of what unprofessional, unethical, shady scam artists, and rude folks these guys are, especially RYAN STELL. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY REVIEW??? I don't care if Ryan messed up and should not have promised in an email to take care of my hotel bill in the middle of july in texas because their contractors who ryan admitted btw they were NEVER going to use again, pounded a nail through my roof puncturing the freon line to my AC. Moore Construction knew all of the homes on my street were built in the 80's and should have checked the attic to see exactly where they needed to be careful in order to not puncture a hole into the freon line leaving me without AC for 2 weeks as it was July in Texas and AC guys were not just standing around waiting for customers,. CUSTOMERS had to wait! They are supposed to be the experts and know to check the attic. the AC company even documented the incident was Moore's fault and responsibility and the freon line was installed properly. So Ryan probably got his hand slapped by the owner Joe moore for promising something he did not have the authority to do but doesnt matter, Ryan acted as a representative of the company and put it in writing that they would cover my AC hotel bill. All of this probably could have been avoided if someone from Moore construction would have been there supervising the horrible contractors they used. Ryan had a beef with me from the second i simply asked why the guys were under the shade tree in my front yard more than on the roof. I understand they need to take several breaks in the heat but again, commitments not kept, RYAN STELL, advised me a day to a day and a half to complete the job and it ended up being 3 plus days and then the nightmare with getting the freon line fixed, etc...and Ryan having to get up on the roof himself to make an entry into the roof for the AC guys because his contractors did not show up, once again!! I hope the new owners of the home had to have Moore over there to replace the whole roof!! Do NOT LET THEM GIVE YOU A DISCOUNT ON THE WORK AS THEY WILL DO SHODDY WORK!!! AND ADMIT IT LOL!!! AND MAKE SURE SOMEONE EXPERIENCED IS THERE TO SUPERVISE, NOT A GUY POPPING IN A COUPLE TIMES WHO WAS NEW TO THE INDUSTRY AND HAD ONLY BEEN WORKING FOR MOORE FOR 2 WEEKS AT THE TIME

I have hired Shed N More for three projects now over the course of five years - starting with a…read moreshed, then a large addition (two rooms and a covered screen patio) and finally, replacing siding on another property. The team (Carl, William, Artie, Julio and the team...) have been overall very helpful - responsive, attentive, reasonable, and flexible...and the projects have all turned out very nice! Carl is the numbers guy, William is the PM/building guy and together they make a good team. We had to work through a lot of details especially with the addition (permitting, pouring foundation, etc.) and the team was helpful and patient throughout. When we encountered some challenging issues with the siding project (demo from the siding caused minor interior damage and an exterior hose spigot was accidentally cut), the team resolved the issues appropriately. The workers try to be careful but unexpected things happen and the team/William were quick to fix things! I highly recommend this company to use for projects like custom sheds but also larger projects like patios, additions and even exterior projects like siding!

They listened to us throughout the project. Mid-project we realized one of the posts holding up the porch was full of carpenter ants. William and team quickly took out the post and replaced it with a new one. At the very last minute we asked for a sliding screen door and that showed up the next day for the final install. The team wants to please the customer and go out of the way to accomplish this. They asked us if they should rebuild our stairway to make longer treads so our cat could more easily access our porch! And he loves his stairway. And we couldn't be happier. We are planning a neighborhood party in October to show off our new porch.

I found "ATX Fence and Deck" through online reviews which were almost all totally positive. Jared came by and surveyed the job. The old joists were 48 in. on center (believe it or not). He recommended replacing the entire framing with joists on 12 in. centers so the composite decking would not sag over time. We went with his recommendation. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME! THE QUALITY IS EXTRAORDINARY AND THE RESULTS ARE BEAUTIFUL. Jared communicated frequently, he was flexible, he and Thomas arrived when they said they would, they worked straight through until the job was complete. The framing is super sturdy and the final product speaks for itself. Look at the pictures! I cannot recommend ATX Fence and Deck any more enthusiastically. Good job Jared! Caleb came out to our house, discussed what we wanted and offered some suggestions, as this was our first outdoor kitchen project. He then promptly sent over a very detailed quote, whereas most of the others were limited in details and explanation. He also sent over a virtual rendering of what the actual finished product would look like and was the only one to do this as well. Once we paid the deposit and the work began, we were very pleased during the entirety of the project. Caleb was always very responsive to our questions along the way and accommodating our requests. Shout out to Joe and Matt (they did the work) for always being so polite to my wife and kids, since I was usually at work when they were there. Not to mention their work was top notch and we couldn't be happier with the results. I am admittedly quite particular and wouldn't change a thing. There wasn't a single issue with them and everything went smoothly. And to top it all off, their cost was very competitive with the others, even though their level of professionalism was head and shoulders above the rest. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor living space.
