I was looking to resurface my porch and walkway when I came across Stone Creations on Yelp. After reaching out a few times (not good) I found out that he was out of town. Nevertheless I scheduled an Appt. To get an estimate. Scott came out at the agreed time and gave my wife an I a quote. Since it was in our budget we scheduled to have it done. On the day of the Appt Scott and his worker showed up on time and finished the work the same day. This is exactly what we were looking for and are completely satisfied. I paid the company to surface my pool deck, my large rear patio, my side walk, my driveway and my front patio/porch (thousands of dollars). The work was done in 4 stages and generally was good. The problem came up with the last area and a small defect that was left in the finished product. This was months ago now. I contacted the company, 4 times now, and asked for a repair and cannot even get an appointment set or a return call. SO, MUCH AS I HATE TO DO IT, I MUST GIVE THIS COMPANY A NEGATIVE AND STAY AWAY, THERE IS NO FOLLOW AND YOU WILL BE LEFT HANGING. read more

I am writing this with tears in my eyes! Ok. Not literally. But I had the WORST contractor ever. He was not even a contractor, as it turns out. He left me with a nightmare of a patio. It was so bad that people laughed when they saw it. I was at the end of my rope trying to figure out what to do. I had numerous contractors come over (and laugh) and those who were willing to attempt the job charged at least $2000 just to remove the top layers then the cost of the actual surface. Then I found stone creations. The pictures on the website don't do the final product justice. They showed up on time to provide the estimate, which was less than any where else; all offering substandard finishes. Needless to say, we were immensely impressed with what they had to offer. It was beautiful, durable, and cost effective. Plus, because of this miracle product, Stone Creations only needed to do minor repairs to the existing patio surface. Sadly they are booked weeks in advance because they are AWESOME. But they called and were able to push our appt up by a week. So here comes out appointment date. My bf and I were like kids on XMAS morning. They showed up on time, immediately got to work, and within hours my dark comedy of a patio was transformed into a beautiful dream come true. I am so happy. Can't say enough good things. I have found my real life super hero! Bless and thank you. UPDATE: I've seen some negative comments and have been asked how my patio is holding up three years later. I only had a positive experience with this company from beginning to end. Three years later, the patio still looks great. I noticed it's the same finish as is the patio at the magic castle Motel in LA (used by 1000s of people). We are so thrilled at the job that Stone Creations performed on our backyard concrete. Because of installation on our concrete being laid at different intervals we had three different colors and it started to fail and looked terrible. Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible customer service and absolutely no follow-up or pride in their work. It was difficult to schedule them to recondition my pebble stone and after several calls one worker eventually came out on a damp day with light drizzle. Based on what I was previously told, I suggested the worker not do the work that day due to the wet weather. He told me it would be ok. The worker left numerous footprints, and a cloudy white appearance started to show up almost immediately thru out my hardscape apparently from applying the epoxy in the rain. Over the course of 5 months I communicated with Corrina (answers phone) and/or Scott (owner) more than 12 times in an effort to have them remedy the problem. Each time, I was told they would get back to me with a date that Scott could come out to view/fix my concerns. They never came out as promised, I never got a call back and my pebble rock looks terrible. I paid them $1,500 and my pebble rock looks far worse than it did before they did the work. read more

I have recently had my deck resurfaced by Stone Creations. I am totally impressed with the excellent job they have done. When getting the original estimate, Scott went over with me exactly what work would be done. Then, without pressuring me in any way, he also noted some improvements that could be made if I would like to do so. But it was totally up to me. They did exactly what they said they would and did an excellent job of doing it. I am confident that the work done will keep the deck looking great for many years. This dude is an ass. He knows he's the only guy around that does this stuff and he exploits it to the fullest extent of the law. They don't return calls and getting them to give you a quote is like pulling teeth. They did a shitty job on my driveway. I had them come do what they call touch up for another $1k a couple years after they did it the first time and it was worse than when he did it the first time. They're supposed to either mix sand with the epoxy and river rock or lightly dust the top or you're going to have problems standing on it because of how slippery it is. Especially in the rain. Well they put hardly any sand in it and needless to say, my family has fallen numerous times. I've got river rock everywhere as it is peeling up off my driveway. I've called at least five times to get him to give me a quote to redo it, and they have not returned my calls. When they did do it many years ago, he and his son argued like two children the entire time. The dude is making money hand over fist, but he is a shitty businessman. I am so impressed by Scott and his team at Stone Creations. We had a very problematic and old concrete stamp of which most contractors had no solution. They wanted a lot of money to do band-aide fixes or just replace everything for $30K. Scott provided us with his vision, a guarantee of the work, and a stunning finished product. He really is a guru who we missed after he was done. The price, which I will admit, seemed like a lot at first, turned out to be the bargain of the century after. The pictures actually do no justice to Scott's work, which was a big surprise. He busy beyond words for good reason and I don't see that improving. After a horribly failed attempt at a stain overlay on our patio, I stumbled across Stone Creations in a community mailer. I never heard of the process, but was intrigued by the look and claims of durability. Before Scott came out to give me a bid, I had my reservations because it looked expensive. When I looked at the sample boards Scott brought with him for our bid, I was even more impressed with the look and quality. As someone else said, pictures don't do it justice. We picked our colors and scheduled an install date to be completed after our pool build was done. Scott was on time and showed up on our scheduled date. He is truly one of the nicest contractors I have ever dealt with. Super efficient, outstanding attention to detail and truly passionate about what he does. We had our patio/walkway, dog run, and RV pad done. Scott will be returning in a couple months to complete the front portion of our residence. He is busy, so plan on a 1-2 month wait for an install date. You will not be disappointed. Our finished product/transformation was jaw dropping. I only wish I had found Stone Creations sooner. I just had my entire pool area (coping, etc.) and my entire long driveway done by Scott and his team. Super super nice people and what a beautiful job. They were very efficient and showed up exactly when they said they were going to. I had Sundek put on about 5 years ago and after 6 months it was such a mess, with bad customer service. I really thought I was going to have to live with it forever because my only option, so I thought, was to tear up the entire driveway and pool area and start from scratch. My neighbor had Scott do her patio a few months ago and it was so beautiful, I thought I would ask him about helping me with my ugly driveway, etc. I was so excited that I didn't have to tear up the driveway and the stone could lay right over the top of the existing mess. Anyway, as mentioned previously, it is absolutely beautiful and I have no doubt that I will ever go through the headache that I did with Sundek. I mentioned to Scott what a good job they were doing and he said he treats every home as if it were his own. Now that really says something in my opinion.
