Updated on 4/13/2025: Daniel finally sent someone to come back and do the work. However, he again didn't tell me about this in advance, so I couldn't show them the other two sagging doors that need repair. I recently hired Daniel and his crew for a seemingly straightforward job, building a concrete block wall and installing four gates. I provided a drawing beforehand, which Daniel's confirmed in his quote. The problem isn't with the crew's labor, but with Daniel, the boss. He's got a stubborn streak, ignoring input and clearly cutting corners. The result? Two gates were insatlled in wrong direction, and all doors started sagging the very next day because he used flimsy, non-heavy-duty hinges. On the final day, after full payment, I pointed out these issues, and Daniel promised to fix them that following Monday. Now, two weeks have passed, and he's a ghost. My texts and calls have gone unanswered. This feels like a flat-out scam, and I'm filing a complaint with the State Consumer Board. If you're thinking of hiring Daniel, consider yourself WARNED!

Daniel explained what had caused the issue and made me whole by transferring me the $441 that were in question. Daniel also apologized repeatedly for the mishap caused by the new concrete provider that was involved. I accepted his apology and informed him that the work was excellent and the results look great!
I needed to have three walls cut, a planter, and additional driveway. Daniel started demolition the next day and was very quick. In three days he completed the now very beautiful addition. His three man crew were very nice, respectful and left everything clean when done. The pricing was more than fair and the value is great.

I needed to pour a slab behind my garage for my outside AC units. The area was pretty rough but Daniel and his crew attacked the project and made sure it came out nice. I was so happy with their work that I expanded it twice, to add a garden wall and some steps to make the area safer and more serviceable. Here are some before and after pictures. I would recommend Daniel for your concrete and block work projects.
I had a pleasure working with Daniel. Contracted Daniel and his crew to build a brick wall. Daniel had great communication throughout the whole project kept me up to date along every step. The crew were very respectful, punctual and to say the least extremely hard workers. They payed great attention to detail. I was very impressed how quickly they finished. Great value too. I without a doubt would recommend them.
We contacted "Daniel's Concrete" and their response was immediate. They came to our home quick and provided us a reasonably priced quote for the work we wanted. They finished the job immediately in beyond hot conditions. I am very happy with the outstanding work done by their work crew, and will continue to use "Daniel's Concrete" for any home renovations. Thank you so much. Also, I see there are reviews bad mouthing their work. Not once did I encounter anything of that nature, and they were the most professional, punctual, and hard working crew I have encountered of late.
I hired Daniel to cut and remove some concrete from around my house. He and his team arrived on time and finished the job within a few hours. They also cleaned up the job site.
I contacted Daniel because I needed a retaining wall to replace the chainlink fence in the backyard. There weren't many contractors that were capable of doing a retaining wall. Instead, Daniel gave a great price for an entire wall. Him and his workers made such an impressive wall. It was beautiful and so well made. They were also very efficient and hardworking. Completed the 80ft wall in 4 days! I highly recommend any block fence projects with them. I plan to use them again to replace my driveway at some point
This review is long overdue as Daniel's Concrete completed the work back in May 2023. We waited to post our overall review due to busy schedules and pending a scheduled house inspection. As first time homebuyers, we wanted to ensure everything from foundation and new additions such as the completion of our backyard were accurate and in compliance. We contacted Daniel's concrete in February of this year for an estimated quote. Please note upon their assessment, the quote provided at the time will be good for 90 days. The initial assessment of the property went well as we worked with both Daniel and Jennifer. Due to a language barrier, Jennifer was our primary contact as she speaks English. She was able to convey our request/plan details including follow up questions to Daniel. We did not receive HOA approval on our backyard plans until early May, cutting it close to the 90 day deadline. Upon receipt of the approval, we contacted Daniel's Concrete and were happy to hear he would be able to start work on our backyard the following week. We were given a 10 day completion timeline and were very pleased with the timeframe for completion as he and his team completed the work within 8 days. Our only concern with Daniel's Concrete is follow-through with questions/concerns as listed below (photos attached for reference): - Portion of concrete once dried had significant staining and or discoloration - Gate has dried up concrete and was not cleaned out afterwards - House (with white stucco) has splashes of dried cement/concrete not cleaned out after - Caused a dent in stucco on window trim - HVAC stand/pan not returned to original place setting. WE WOULD LIKE TO NOTE HERE THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST CONCERNS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION DURING OUR HOME INSPECTION AND THE ONLY CONCERN WE WISH TO HAVE HAD RESOLVED. See below further review and details: As indicated above, we requested a home inspection and we were informed the HVAC stand/pan should be replaced to its original setting to avoid future damage caused by the vibration. Upon hearing this, we contacted Daniel and Jennifer by text. We were informed by Jennifer that Daniel and his team would assist with lifting the HVAC in order to return the HVAC stand/pan. However, we never heard back to schedule a day/time. Additional follow up by text was sent and yet, no communication back for close to a week. During our last attempt to request for assistance, we were provided a date/time. I waited the whole day, but Daniel and team were a no-show and no-call to provide an explanation. We gave them the benefit of the doubt since we understand everyone's busy schedule. We attempted to reschedule, but the next day/time suggested were not feasible due to our busy schedules as well. We indicated such and Daniel's Concrete / Jennifer did not bother to respond again nor did they attempt to reschedule or reach out. The partnership started out great, but the end result and follow-through was quite disappointing CONSIDERING HOW MUCH MONEY WENT INTO THE BACKYARD. This day/age customer service and care is important in retaining clients (I should know given my professional role and experience with customer handling). This job is not complete especially since we've reached out to other HOA neighbors who've obtained Daniel's Concrete for services. How were they able to replace/return the HVAC pan for some clients and simply forget to do so for ours? What's more troubling is for the amount we paid costing over $20k, the courtesy of a follow-up was not available. Work overall was pretty good, but make sure to get everything done before the final payment is given because it seems like once it's done/given, they're done and no longer care.

Amazing! Demo'ed old patio slab and planters, relocated trees (still alive today), trenched irrigation and electrical, improved drainage, poured, and finished concrete (40x40) backyard, in one day. Hauled away the mess, his and ours too. And, it looks great. Best of all, the price was great. Thanks Daniel. read more

I hired Daniel and the experience was extremely disappointing. He was very responsive when he was asking for money, but once he was paid, communication dropped off completely. He sent workers to my home on a Tuesday without any prior notice, and they told me they would return on Saturday once I had the sealant ready. Saturday came and went, and no one showed up or contacted me. He ignored my calls and messages afterward. To make matters worse, they didn't bring enough cement for the job and started using my own bricks to fill the space without asking or discussing it with me. This showed a lack of preparation and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not trust what he says. He will leave you high and dry with unfinished work and zero communication. I now have to hire someone else to fix and complete the job. read more

I have mixed feelings giving Daniel and his crew 2 stars. They did such a great job with my backyard and I'm overall mostly happy with the result. The 2 stars is because he keeps ghosting me or gives me an excuse not to stop by when I ask him to fix one minor part he didn't think about which is water is pooling up near my AC unit. He told me 2 straight days that we will come and nothing. Just disappointed because I was already going to start making plans to hire him again to do my front yard and porch. Instead, I'm getting quotes to get someone to fix the drainage near my AC. read more

Honest upfront, cost is reasonable, reliable, respectful team, job was done in the timeframe stated and home was left clean after completion. Daniel's concrete did a great job with the building of a cinder block wall on my property. A 200+ft wall along my property was finished in a timely fashion. Daniel and his workers took their time to make sure the wall was level and straight the whole way down which was something I was worried about but they got the job done properly. Corners were not cut and wall was built properly. Daniel and his crew also cleaned up after they were finished with the project which I appreciated. Will be using Daniel and his crew again. Also Daniels pricing is competitive in the construction market read more

Hired Daniel to tear down existing wood fence and replace it with block wall. Very happy with our new block wall. Daniel and his crew were very professional and hard working. Job was finish in a timely matter like we discussed. If I had 20 more walls to build I would hire Daniel in a split second. Happy customer read more

Requested a quote on easter sunday and response back was quick within 20mins. Called next day to set up a in person quote which worked out perfectly cause he was in the area . Again arrived in 20 mins . We decided to go with him for demo of a raised flower bed in middle of my patio and fill in , as well as remove grass on side of driveway and extend driveway for flatbed trailer . He started demo and prep same day finished prep Tuesday , Wednesday morning concrete truck arrived and poured and finished . Great work great fair prices , very friendly and no issues at all . I would totally recommend highly for anyone to give him a call . read more

We wanted to put in a new patio, and had a few firms come out to give quotes. Daniel was able to listen to what we wanted, and made some great suggestions for how we could improve our vision. Their pricing was very competitive, and were able to start work the same week. The patio has turned out amazing, and it's due to Daniel's skill and the dedicated work of his crew. Daniel is a lifesaver! I was in major need of redoing my backyard fence. I contacted Daniel and he was quick to respond. He came out within the next 2 days for an estimate and started building the block wall the following week. 100 percent recommend him. Fast response, quality work, reasonable prices. He's very honest and keeps his word. After he built my amazing block wall, I hired him to do cement work for a driveway. Couldn't resist the price and quality of work. We had a monstrosity of a rock fountain that I have been wanting to remove for years. Other contractors I reached out to did not provide the service. I messaged Daniel and he came out the next day. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Demolition, block, caps, concrete with stamp and color. Within that same day, we had a quote, invoice and start date. Daniel and his wife Jennifer, were great at getting back to me. Daniel was on time for every appointment. The project came along as scheduled. His guys worked tirelessly throughout the day until the job was done. Everything was completed as scheduled and I am very pleased with the outcome. We contacted several concrete companies to demo and replace our cracked patio. Daniel and Jennifer were very responsive and came over for a consultation within a few days of contacting them. Their quote was the best price out there. We had about 1200 square feet of concrete that needed replacing. We went with a honey beige stamped concrete pattern. On day one, Daniel and his crew came over bright and early to demo the patio. Day 2 they built the forms and compacted all the dirt. Day 3 they laid down all the concrete. Everything was done quickly, cleanly and efficiently. All in all we are very satisfied with their service. We will definitely be using them again when we do some work in the future. read more

It was truly a pleasure working with Daniel & Jennifer! They came over and gave me a quote within a day and ended up being able to start the project early. The stamped concrete turned out fantastic along with the artificial turf installed. His crew was professional and they cleaned up every day after they were done working. Highly recommend! read more
