Late is always better than never, and I can assure you that you WILL NOT be disappointed in choosing Drop & Son's. Completed this project in fall 2023. Three sides of the house were intruded upon by landscaping in my yard and my neighbor's. The crews did an amazing job and knocked out this project in less than 3 week (rain delays included!!!). They were on time each morning, cleaned up each day, very little disruption to both me and my neighbors, professional, friendly, asked questions when about my preferences instead of making assumptions, stayed on task, kept me informed, and did an amazing job transforming my horribly uneven and unusable backyard into a space that my family can now enjoy. Paul from Drop and sons construction came to the rescue after fire damage to my house from an electrical fire. He was very helpful with the recommendations of how to deal with the insurance agency and getting over the troubles that they gave my wife and I about our claim! Paul was able to get us temporary power within a matter of hours, and had an estimate of repairs within 48 hours to turn into the insurance company to begin the steps to be approved to start repairing the electrical fire damage. Drop and Sons did a backyard pool and outdoor living remodel for us. It was a complex project that involved a new patio cover, hardscaping, a pool and spa, a cabana attached to the pool with a swim up bar, and a bbq island. We obtained several bids for this project. What tipped the scales for us going with Drop and Sons was the owner Paul Drop. He answered all of our questions not only during our initial meeting but when we had follow up questions after. He was by far the most responsive of the contractors we obtained bids from. This wasn't just an act to get our business. Throughout the project he was always available. His communication skills are excellent. At no point did we not know what the status of our project was. The quality of the finished product is simply fantastic. Paul and his crew are amazing. They are professional, courteous, and friendly. All subcontractors that were used did excellent work. I heard about him through a friend who had hired Drop and Sons in the past, and I thought I'd check him out. I decided to hire him as well, and I'm glad I did because now I have a newly remodeled pool that really allows me to enjoy my backyard again. Now I have a salt water pool with a nice and unique interior. From day one Paul Drop (Owner) and his staff have been professional and respectful. On the first day work began we were introduced to his sons and the rest of the team. This helped us know who would be working at our house. The guys have been respectful, professionally-dressed, knowledgeable, and very hard-working throughout the project. Our property has been kept neat and organized. Unbelievable this includes the demolition faze. Short cuts have not been taken and everyone has gone the extra mile to deliver the best results. During the conception phase and throughout this project, we have been spoken to clearly and in terms that we can understand. Paul was extremely helpful in assisting with the design plan. He listened to what we wanted and came up with great ideas. Paul never tried to pressure us or "sell-up" any portion of the project. He is very easy to work with and shows excellent customer service. Our project is not yet complete but we felt compelled to write a review of a trustworthy, experienced and skilled contractor, which is often hard to find. We had a rock, yes rock, wall in our yard partially crumble due to wind damage. I'm not talking river rock, these are huge Baldy stone rocks and it took a month to find someone who could repair the rock properly. The contractors we encountered prior to Paul were puzzled by the solution, but not Paul. He instantly knew that he could repair the wall and restore the quirky charm. In fact, the wall (though it stood nearly 60 years prior to the recent damage) is stronger than before! It's gorgeous! We were so happy with Drop and Son's work that we asked him to do some concrete work and even replace a window! Every job was polished, clean, and added more value to our home than the cost to complete them. I would not hesitate to recommend Drop and Sons to anyone. One item that I feel deserves mentioning... Paul not only remembers, but uses everyone's name. His clients, vendors, contractors... Everyone. I found this to be so personable and respectful. I have real money and a job that I need a professional to do, with a professional attitude. My wife called, left a message...Paul called back and made a schedule inquiry to sync up and get out to make an estimate....no show. I spoke to Paul and he had to check his schedule. He said he wanted to bring his roofer guy by to give input....made an appointment, at least I think it was... The point is, I have real money and resonable expectations. What does an estimate hurt? If you are a small business in this day and age, word of mouth is your best ally. Show at least a little enthusiasm when a new customer calls....they could make your year. Is the economy so good that these small companies are just swamped and don't need the business? I won't be using Drop and Son's. We need to keep the brick and mortar, mom and pop shops going, but when a big box store is more reliable...AND they offer a warranty, maybe that's the way things are going to end up. read more

I was having a huge fourth of July gathering and my pool light and heater stopped working.
