This showed a lack of preparation and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not trust what he says. He will leave you high and dry with unfinished work and zero communication. It's very disappointing but I guess it's to be expected when someone is already difficult to reach at the onset. Also, pricing was fair and reasonable. From receiving my quote, Isaias and his team of family were able to do the landscape 3 weeks after the initial consultation, and finished in two days! They were impressive, quick but efficient, and cleaned after themselves. I had my front yard, side yard and backyard done. I asked them to add concrete steps for my front yard and also a bit more concrete to expand the parking space. They were also able to save me money by using some of the hollow blocks and bricks that I already had just laying around to use as a divider for my planters. My front yard and side yard was overgrown with weed and variety of plants that have grown wild also plants from previous owner that weren't really to my liking. He returned my call, talked to me about my plan, came out and measured and gave me a bid, had very fair pricing, and kept me updated on the start date. He also allowed me to meet him at the nursery to pick the plants/colors that I wanted for my yard. When Isaias and his crew started, it was a pretty quick two-day process. He and his crew were very responsive to my design ideas. I wanted a berm next to a dry riverbed to give the yard some texture. Yet, Isaias and the guys also added their expertise on things I would not have known to do and design ideas that increased the beauty of the landscape. The materials (bark, stone) are really nice quality. And they left everything clean and tidy. In the end I was happier than I ever expected. Now all I want to do is sit out front and watch the beautiful plants grow and the birds and lizards make their homes. Carlos was super courteous and gave us an estimate immediately, which seemed fair. I also had him check my property, and he stated it was fine. What I didn't expect was the details in the work. The reason the concrete failed before was that there was no rebar. They installed rebar, and you could tell it was not going to fail again. Vicente, the man who finished it, was like an artist making sure everything was just so. They made the leading edge of the concrete 6 inches where heavy trucks could damage it, then used asphalt repair material to make a little lip so there would be less pressure on the edge. Above and beyond service. Mind you, this was not a giant repair. If I needed something large done, these are the people I would call.
