I hired Land X Landscape Construction for a patio project that included a fire pit and gas line. The work was performed under Land X Landscape Construction Inc, which had an expired contractor license at the time. The project resulted in poor workmanship, an unpermitted and unsafe fire pit/gas line installation, and an incomplete job. These issues raised serious safety concerns and required further correction. The Contractors State License Board (CSLB) investigated this matter and issued citations, including violations related to failure to obtain permits, departure from trade standards, and contracting with an expired license. The contractor was given an opportunity to correct the work, but the issues were not properly resolved and the project was ultimately abandoned. I strongly recommend verifying that the license on your contract is active, matches the contractor performing the work, and that all required permits are obtained before proceeding. read more

We recently bought a custom fire pit from Land X Landscape. We wanted something large enough to fit about three people on each side, and we didn't want tile for the cap finish. We were looking for something classy and timeless. I am not much of a reviewer, however the great work from Land X Landscape Construction is to be acknowledged and highly recommended.  What's convenient is this is a one stop shop. They do mostly everything when it comes to backyard remodel and they do so with great execution. I appreciate their good communication and customer service. Throughout the design process, Gustavo was open in collaborating ideas and provide constructive input. I always received updates and all questions, concerns were addressed. The optional 3D image was a good reflection of the end product. Ultimately, Gustavo's creative design was well achieved and brought to life my initial concept of a relaxing Mediterranean garden in a beautiful, thoughtful way. From the elegant curves of the paver border to the calming vibe of the multiple water fixtures, the backyard was more than I expected.  In addition, the details of certain plants and a floral medallion I wanted were incorporated in the garden. They also went beyond when custom making an intricate designed fountain. From day to night, the backyard transformed into a dreamy landscape with the low ambient lighting. I do not write many reviews unless it is well deserved and this one is definitely well deserved. I received quotes from 3 landscape companies, but Gustavo from Land X Landscaping took the prize. He was friendly, not pushy, and attentive. My husband & I had a vision of how we wanted our backyard to look like. He listened to our ideas, gave suggestions on how best to accomplish our vision & was more than willing to work with our timeline due to HOA. I bought a brand new DR Horton home here in Eastvale with a smaller sized back yard - perfect for my lady and I (although may be a bit too small for our future 27 kids... Jk). We have a peculiar style for youngins' (we are both 27). We like a clean but unique look coupled with older antiques... This style runs similar in what we wanted in a backyard. When going into our backyard - we want to feel like we are not in the city (although eastvale itself is like that for us LA kids). We want to feel like its an escape... So all concrete or brick pavers wasn't really our style. We wanted something green but yet true to the Riverside and greater LA area climate... So desert (or Xeriscape) style is what we picked and we are so glad we did. We looked online and had a few locals quote us for our backyard but each of them pushed their own agenda... Cement...cement everything. Uh, why aren't you listening to what I want? Finally we found Green Nature. Ramon met us without pushing his own agenda. He was friendly and really easy to talk to... He listened and told me "yeah I can do that... And I have done that before!" So he set out on creating a mockup design on his computer and came back with a few different options based in our budget... Which was fairly tight I might add. His computer generated mock up designs are awesome! They let you see what you are going to get and what changes you may (or may not) want to add. We changed ours and it still came out great! An excellent service for those who want a sneak peak. For our budge concerns - Thanks to our HOA - we had to landscape the rear yard within 6 months (to our surprise) so despite dropping lots of money to buy the house, we had to do it all over again. Thankfully, Ramon worked hard and well to help us stay in that budget. Finally when time came to get going, it was great to see how fast and easy it was. 4.5 days later our 1500 sq feet of yard was done... Now maybe more like 1000sqft was done as I did not do the side yards to retain my budget... We just pit mulch down for those. But we are so happy with how the rear yard turn out, we will definitely call Ramon back for phase 2 (side yard). Great work! Excellent professionalism and quality service. The controller system show "short found on Station 2". I am not kind of technic guy, and couldn't handle it myself. I called Gus about this. We had our backyard designed and completed by Land X and we couldn't be happier. Ramon initially came out to measure, take pictures and then sent us a YouTube rendering video of what our backyard could transform into. It was amazing! We got several quotes from other companies and were very pleased with the price. Our quote included demo, turf, landscaping, irrigation for plants, electrical for accent lights, install of bistro lights, alumawood pergola, cement pad, and cement walkway. Once construction started things moved quickly but was held up by some rain along the way. The team of guys were always very professional and friendly. We appreciated how they swept up the walkways and parking spots at the end of the day. During our project we decided to make a couple changes and add a fence topper for additional privacy and a second pergola. Another nice touch is that all the lights come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. They also gave us two remotes to control the fountain and lights, which we love! Everything turned out wonderful. I used Land X for some random tree trimming years ago and they were great. I've had family use them for concrete since then and everyone has loved them. The owner Ramon is a huge part of the reason. He's hands on and involved and treats every job like it's his own house. Anyway, the reason for this review is because I wanted to do a back yard remodel, add a bbq island with counter space and a fridge, maybe a fire pit, just something new and exciting. I wasn't sure exactly. So I called Land X and Ramon came out the next day. I showed him the space and gave him my budget (I know you don't do that) but he came up with a great idea and was way under my budget, which is unheard of, and still did more that I imaged could be done with the budget I gave him. My back yard patio area is a full on outdoor kitchen now with a fireplace, bbq, fridge, sink, and more. Never imagined I'd have this backyard. I can't say enough about Land X and especially Ramon. Their price was reasonable amongst other contractors but had to wait for 4 months until they could work on my backyard project. If choosing them, I would truly recommend to be extremely clear on what you want and not try to change things as much. Owner did not have the patience (short tempered) nor made the time to work with us. The fact that that we had a 3D design already made helped them tremendously. Ramon and the LAND-X crews did a fabulous rehab of our pool deck. Work began on July 16, 2020 and was complete on July 31, 2020. The first crew began by covering the entire pool and spa with heavy gauge sheets of clear plastic. Then they began the demo of 856 square feet of 22 year old, cracking concrete. The demo was followed by a surface preparation and then the installation of concrete and paver containment borders. Finally, the last crew did the laying, cutting and installation of the pavers. The job was expertly and efficiently executed and regularly monitored by Ramon. LAND-X did five star work and the finished product looks beautiful.
