So nice to have more fine dining in Arvada where servers know how to present a wine bottle, and the goal is local fresh flavors, not giant portions. I would wish for more vegan options and more appropriate music selections (they were playing what should be loud rock on a quiet volume). Should be jazz or classical or instrumental covers. Looking forward to seeing this place develop! read more

Great new bistro in old Town Arvada. Delicious and inventive. Definitely go for the seasonal items. read more

Excellent culinary addition to this community, Service excellent, overall establishment up there with the best! Congratulations read more

We had such an amazing dinner at Stone Cellar. I thoroughly enjoyed the farm to table food. The flavors were amazing. We had the duck, the pork shoulder and the halibut at our table and every single one was delicious. I wish we had taken photos before diving in but alas the food is too appealing. read more

Second trip to Stone Cellar- the first visit was 5+ star food, service and welcoming atmosphere. We could not wait to return. This visit was very disappointing. The food was mediocre, service was weird- server not receptive and somewhat demeaning, hostess was not welcoming. Not sure if we will return. read more

My spouse and I have been to Stone Cellar multiple times and it's our go to place when we have visitors. The food is always delicious, creative, and interesting. The service is excellent, as they are kind and offer helpful beverage suggestions with the food. I appreciate a restaurant that offers a fine dining food experience in an atmosphere that is comfortable and non-pretentious. We will continue to support this restaurant and feel quite fortunate that we have such a wonderful restaurant in Arvada. read more

Jus had another wonderful meal at the Stone Cellar Bistro. The two appetizers we had were just wonderful, both vegetarian but packed full of flavor. Menu changes with what's fresh and available. Highly recommend! read more

This restaurant is already recognized by locals enough to need a reservation days ahead. Or eat at the bar with the personable and service oriented bartenders. Fresh food from a fresh menu combined with personable service. Great place! read more

Have you ever been to a restaurant where the ambiance, the food and the service are all great?! This is THE PLACE!! Chelsea made me her specialty cocktail and put it in the glass I like without question. (It was so delicious). Next, the large group of us moved over to our table and Chloe took care of everyone effortlessly. The food was amazing. I ordered the delicious pork loin, and others ordered the fried chicken. That, too, was delicious. I especially enjoyed the red cabbage cole slaw too. Jordan, the layed back owner, invited me into the kitchen. I doubt you'll find a commercial kitchen as clean as this one. You HAVE to go check this place out!! read more

I thought the Chart House was overpriced for what you get but the Stone Cellar Bistro takes the cake and eats it too! Not only is it overpriced but first come first served does not apply here. Wait staff was very inattentive - even lost our drink order. Definitely not ready to be a prime time place. read more

Terrific spot in Arvada. Nice wine list, inventive menu, intimate setting. Food is excellent. Enjoyed the pork schnitzel, wedge salad, with a tasty bottle of La Sybarite St Joseph 2020, a white wine from south Burgundy (Rhône River Valley). Enjoy! read more

Exquisite food and amazing flavors. A famous chef once said if you ask about the chicken on the menu of a high-end restaurant and they highly recommend it then you are safe with everything else. Not only do they highly recommend the famous chicken there, I would go back there for several servings of that alone. it is a awesome addition to old town Arvada. It is probably one of the best restaurants in Denver. Make sure you get a reservation because they only take walk-ins at the bar and this place fills up... Rightfully so. read more

Had dinner there tonight. The pork belly was exceptional. Seriously. We had peaches with prosciutto and the foie gras lollipop for appetizers. Cherry cheesecake and peach sorbet for dessert. It was all absolutely fantastic. Even the cornbread croutons in the accompanying salad were not anything you'd want to leave on the plate. Just terrific. read more

Went for Sunday Brunch. The vibes are unreal. The menu is unique and the drinks are top notch. New favorite spot in Olde Town Arvada! read more

Met a friend for dinner here and it was phenomenal! This little bistro changes their menu almost monthly, source everything locally from local farms, everything is very fresh, and they have very friend staff. We ordered the fresh baked rolls, beet salad, grouper, and chicken. For dessert we did the flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake. Everything taste so fresh and it was a true culinary experience. Although it was an expensive dinner, I highly recommend everyone should try it once! I was very impressed! read more

One of the best meals I've eaten in the Denver area. The food was delicious from appetizers to dessert, and the drink menu was fantastic. The food was prepared very well and sourced from very high quality ingredients. The menu prices were shockingly low for food of that quality (the steak was $4 more than what we ate at a chain restaurant the week before and 50 times better). I had a delicious walnut old fashioned and a boulevardier (off menu) that was also great. My wife had a gin drink that was bright and fun. The freshly baked bread here is a must have for an appetizer, and I dipped that in the beef tartare which was also quite good. Entrees of steak and pork chops were cooked perfectly, and the pork chop had a great Smokey flavor which paired perfectly with the black-eyed peas and rice. You have to have dessert here! Pistachio cheesecake with cherry limeade sorbet was delicious, and we also had a peanut butter banana pie that was very well balanced and not too dense. This was my first time going, and I'll definitely be back. I've read the small amount of poor reviews and the complaints about the cocktails (crushed ice in old fashioned, etc.) or dry food were not what I experienced. read more

Went here for with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised! Nice ambiance, friendly service and delicious food. A more modern/upscale restaurant that is tucked away in old town. We got the charcuterie board which was a 10/10! I got the grouper, which was delicious. read more

What a great find! Amazing service and food. I was wowed by the tartar and foccacia bread...and happy to find foie gras. Will definitely be back! read more

We had an amazing experience at Stone Cellar last evening. Everything was excellent with perhaps the only exception being the restaurant's attention to dietary restrictions. We had tried SCB a while back and with our gluten intolerance we struggled to make the menu work for us. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed much. We had the same challenges last evening. To be fair, the chef did his/her best to accommdate us by adjusting the entrees to suit but that unfortunately took away some key components that left the dishes that we ordered, lacking. It didn't work for either of us. Our experience is that most restaurants are now well advanced with their ability to offer dishes that are either dedicated to certain dietary restrictions or can be modified to keep the integrity/design of the dish. Oh, by the way, the gluten free buns were really good! That helped make up for the dishes that didn't quite work. We'd love to know where those were sourced. Having said that, the Bib Lettuce salad was incredible and the service (Christian) and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. We're hoping SCB can advance their ability to better accommodate dietary restrictions as we truly want to love this place since it is one of the best restaurants in Olde Towne Arvada. read more

Beautiful restaurant good service. Sorry but the food did not live up to what I was expecting. Very unique menu, gave three different items a try. 1- biscuits with fried chicken butter. Small glazed biscuits with a brown chicken spread. Kind of strange, just wasn't all that good. 2- peaches with country ham- tasty peaches with what looked like prosciutto on top. It was good for a nibble. 3- lettuce wraps with pork. Seemed like it was ground pork, we ate it all , a small serving, nothing special about how it tasted. All three of these items were appetizers I believe so we did not leave feeling full, there was two of us. Thanks for reading read more

This was our first visit to the Stone Cellar Bistro. We're fans of farm to table restaurants and have been disappointed in the limited selection of such restaurants in the area. The Stone Cellar Bistro is a rare find!! Such great food and wonderful service. The menu, which consisted of a number of small plates and several larger entrees, is a true reflection of what is available in the area and changes on a regular basis. My wife and I selected 4 small plates to share (plus a desert). The presentations were wonderful and the wait staff reviewed the ingredients for each selection as it was presented to our table. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff was very attentive to our table, regularly filling our water glasses from a craft left on the table and removing the dishes as soon as a plate was emptied. We've finally found our favorite farm to table restaurant and look forward to the menu surprises on our next visit, which will be soon. Thanks for a delightful evening of dining and don't forget to order one of their unusual deserts. WELL DONE!!!! Parking: The RTD parking ramp is two blocks away for the restaurant and its free. The parking signs are misleading as we thought we would need to pay but after entering our license plate into the kiosk we were informed there is no charge to park in the ramp. This parking ramp is more convenient than driving around trying to find a street parking spot. read more

Fresh, local, and fantastic. Easily some of the best food in the area. Great service and atmosphere, too. We'll be back!

Our visit to Stone Cellar was the result of gift certificate. Stone Cellar was out of the way, over 30 miles, but we made the trip, and it was worth it. The service was outstanding, and the food was some of the best we have had anywhere in Denver. Even with its limited menu I preferred Stone Cellar to Guard & Grace and equal to The Capital Grille. We will be back regularly. read more

This place is way overrated. The staff is rude food mediocre. Maybe to the local yokals its great but wow so expensive for terrible food/service. We went for our anniversary dinner and spent $225 without drinks and they decided to clean the whole restaurant while we had our gourmet dinner. Its a big L for me. I question the good reviews... read more

Cannot say enough good things about this place. I just dined for the 2nd time (the 1st being about a year ago) and this place is easily the best meal in Olde Town Arvada. I've dined in every other restaurant in Olde Town, most numerous or many times, and although there are other good places to eat this place is a cut (or two) above all the others. These folks have their sh~t together - you won't be disappointed. read more

This place is way overrated. The food is ok but the prices are ridiculous. Plan on spending at least $75 per person. On top of that, they charge you a 5 percent "kitchen living wage". On our $235 pre-tax bill that included an $88 bottle of wine, I adjusted the tip to 15 percent or $35. Still a really good tip. We wanted the waiter to understand why 15 percent and not the "standard" 20 percent. He got mad and went and told the kitchen staff. A large cook then came out of the kitchen to stare at us, then invited another cook to do the same. This made us very uncomfortable so we spoke with the manager. She recognized what the cooks were doing was wrong but pretty much did nothing about it. I have honestly never experienced anything like this and will never go back. Unprofessional, disrespectful, intimidating....not a place to spend one's wedding anniversary. Between the prices and the attitude exhibited by the staff, I predict this place won't make it. read more

My husband and I had one of the best meals of our life at Stone Cellar. The tartine was creative, beautiful, and so so delicious. The pork shoulder was out of this world. Yummmmmmmy farm to table type spot. A touch pricey but totally worth it. Can't wait to go back! Great atmosphere that feel chic and upscale

I am not sure I have adequate words for how good this food was. Two people, two small plates and an entree and we left FULL. The foie gras parfait (think pâté) with blueberries and basil was divine. The peaches with ham (similar to prosciutto) was good...this was my only 4 star dish. I loved the ham with the olive oil and the juice of the peaches, but the ham was too salty when paired with an actual bite of peach. But then the tart peach was a nice compliment to the fat from the foie gras, so in the end it was all delicious. Finally, the trout. Skin so crispy it was almost like glass; fresh dill; creamy buttermilk sauce, and a touch of fish roe. The bite with a little fish, a little turnip, roe, sauce and dill was perfection. The server paired the dishes with wine and provided excellent service. Don't sleep on this little place in Olde Town Arvada...it's not typical for the area, but it is *stellar.* Just 5/5 will be back. read more

The food here was very good except the rolls, 4 for $8. They were below average. My fish and my husband's short ribs were excellent. The service was good. The ambiance is lovely. It's very expensive. A good meal that costs way too much. read more

I highly recommend this little place in downtown Arvada. The food was more than delicious. I had their crispy fried chicken which is totally different than any Fried chicken. It was extra crispy. excellent paired with red cabbage slaw, which was unique in itself combined it was delicious meal. Excellent service and food, very nice experience, unique offerings on the menu. We will be recommending to others.

Roasted Chicken Breast is one of my favorite dish! Very juicy and delicious. Good service and friendly staff.

Very pricey and very limited menu. They add junk fees to the total bill too for "quality of life" why not just pay your staff more? My salad had bug eaten lettuce and my husband had an allergic reaction to the beer he ordered. Not worth the hype or hives. read more

We just found this new place after seeing a movie in Old Town Arvada and were so glad we did! Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared from appetizers to dessert. Enjoyed this place overall during our first visit earlier this month. Friendly service and delicious food. I'm glad to see a classy place like this in Arvada. It's on the pricey side, but my wife and I went for our 17 year anniversary. Which brings me to a minor critique: when I made the reservation, I was asked if there was a special occasion. Usually this translates to a desert, or at least an acknowledgment of the occasion when you visit (i.e., "happy anniversary"). However, nothing was ever mentioned during our visit. Other than that, we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere, and the server was friendly. read more
